- K3279FXtracyl0 contributionsExcellent Leavenworth Tour for my parents! My mom and dad came to visit from Quebec for a week and I decided to put them on a tour to Leavenworth as it was their first time. They absolutely loved the trip and it was so easy to sign them both up at such a well priced tour. Best thing was since they were busy having fun and travelling to Seattle and Leavenworth, my husband and I were still able to go to work and continue on with our normal life!Written 7 October 2024
- patricad3030 contributionsMagicalMy partner and I had an amazing 4-day guided tour to Yellowknife with First Express Travel. The 3-night hotel stay was comfortable, and we loved exploring Old Town and Great Slave Lake. The highlight was Day 3 when we witnessed the breathtaking Aurora Borealis—it was truly magical! The guides were fantastic and ensured we had the best views. The trip was seamless, and we highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an unforgettable Northern Lights experience.Written 2 October 2024
- Stuck-nomo0 contributionsTerrible tour by trafalgarTrafalgar is terrible. Company policies are written for them not the consumer. Help is nonexistent . Take a gray hound bus. Faster, cheaper and you see the same things.Written 18 September 2024
- ericmY8800BR0 contributionsUnforgettable Northern LightsI recently joined First Express Travel Centre’s 4-Day Guided Tour to Yellowknife, and it exceeded all expectations. The Aurora Borealis viewing was absolutely breathtaking, with our guide ensuring we had the best spots and insights into the science behind the lights. The tour was well-organized, with comfortable accommodations and a perfect mix of sightseeing and relaxation. The staff were professional, friendly, and made the entire experience feel personalized. If you're looking for an unforgettable Northern Lights adventure, I highly recommend this tour!Written 16 September 2024
- andrewsK40UW0 contributionsEpic TripTravel agency offers both 1 day and 2 days tours. We opted for the 2 days as we wanted more time to spend at each location and on the island. Glad we did as it was a blast. Highlight of the tour were Butchart Gardens and the Malahat Skywalk. If you have not been to Victoria nor the island, and want to get all the sites in without managing logistics, scheduling and such - this is the tour to be on!Written 10 September 2024
- wilsonwA1900FP0 contributions10/10What an epic and incredible trip! Our family went with the 5 star hotel option and although more expensive, I think it was totally worth it. Excellent and professional tour guide that was experienced and made the trip smooth and engaging. I feel the 2-day tour is the perfect amount of time and provides a lot more room for travelers to really experience both Vancouver Island and the beautiful City of Victoria. 10/10Written 4 September 2024
- 184miny0 contributionsWonderful trip.Victoria is a beautiful city. We will definitely come back again and will stay longer. Butchart garden is wonderful just like the garden from our dream! Never saw the followers could open that big and colourful in any other garden.Written 29 August 2024
- S5692WCnathank0 contributionsLifechanging SightsMake sure you bring your cameras and newish cell phones because you going to need them when the aurora borealis shines through at night! Just an amazing sight and my gf and I travelled all the way from Poland to see this - totally worth it!Written 28 August 2024
- nicbridgenb0 contributionsAmazing Rockies tour through the beautiful parks. We had an extraordinarily brilliant experience with a great group of people. Our tour guide Ryan Churchill and driver Mr Yee made the trip welcoming and educational. The sites were amazing of the Parkes and lakes. Banff and sun peaks ski resort were gorgeous.Written 26 August 2024
- macyc9140 contributionsRecommendVisiting Vancouver and my friend recommended me join a Victoria Tour to see Butchart Gardens and all the other iconic sites on the island. Fantastic trip and just so productive as I was able to take it all in with a full day. Make sure you are well rested the night before because the day is long. Try and take advantage before the summer ends because when the fall comes it will be rainy and not as fun. Highly recommend if you are visiting Vancouver and Victoria for a short stay and want to see everything.Written 23 August 2024
- SarahMSydney0 contributionsToken Westerner’s reviewerI had concerns about booking a non refundable trip, especially given the cost. Not sure why there is no option to cancel, but we took the chance that we wouldn’t have to change our plans. Good communication straight away regarding purchasing additional excursions and a pre paid meal plan. Requested more info regarding menu choices, but not available. Straight away it was obvious that this tour is very much geared towards the Asian travellers. The mandarin commentary seemed to overwhelmingly outweigh that of the English, and the choices for meal was predominately Asian cuisine if you paid upfront. If not, you had to scramble to fend for yourself to source an alternative and be back at the bus in time to leave at the designated time. The places we went to were pretty awesome, with the exception of the ginseng factory - not our thing, but it was a lot of coach time with early starts and late nights and it often felt rushed especially when people couldn’t be bothered turning up at the correct time. Repeatedly it felt that we, as the English speaking couple, were only told what was going on as an after thought. The supposed ‘company policy’ of moving seats everyday was just plain annoying, even more so when a group refused on the second last day (guess where they were seated). The hotels included were decent, but none included breakfast and you dont get time to enjoy any of the amenities. We really enjoyed the places we visited, but would definitely do it under our own steam or with another company if we were to do it again in the future just to slow down the pace, have time to look around the towns and generally feel more included. Tour guide was good, but a $120 enforced tip (listed as a service charge) isn’t right. Pay your people appropriately - we shouldn’t have to compensate your staff for long hours after we have already paid for our trip! There is also no pick up or drop off to hotels in downtown Vancouver, so an additional cost to the tour. If you are a nationality other than Chinese, I would recommend looking at other optionsWritten 21 August 2024

- charlenemV2502FI0 contributionsBanff and beyondI found the Rocky Mountains Tour to be an excellent value, with decent hotels and an unforgettable night stay in Banff. It's a must-visit destination in Canada, with breathtaking scenery at lake Louise. Our tour guide was helpful, and the bilingual commentary in both Mandarin and English ensured everyone had a fantastic experience and felt well taken care of.Written 15 August 2024
- paulnY4239HM0 contributionsWell balanced tourVancouver island 1-day tour was great. Island’s natural beauty is stunning, our guide was fantastic, sharing great insights along the way, and itinerary was well-balanced. great experience!Written 15 August 2024
- 824eruma0 contributionsScam! Tour didn't go to all the stops and it was in Chinese!I booked through Trip Advisor however they sold it to a tour group called First Express Travel and the tour was in Chinese! The guide, Chris, tried to speak broken English but we couldn't understand him and eventually he would resort back to Chinese. Plus he didn't even stop at half of the stops that were listed nor did he explain anything- he was more like an Uber driver. The night before the tour Chris text stating to meet him earlier because he suddenly had more stops to make to pick up Chinese tourists. We now had to be there before 7am and spent over a hour just picking up others from their hotel even though when I booked there were only 2 stops you could pick from.Chris kept us on the bus most of the day, perhaps he was concerned about getting late if we made all the stops. Chris also told everyone that there was a mandatory cash service fee(tip) of $15 per person that he collected from every person. No where did the tour list an additional mandatory fee. I reported it to TripAdvisor and they forwarded it to Viator and they said they reached out to the tour company however I have not heard anything. I now have to dispute it with my credit card company since the service was not provided and essentially I was scammed. It definitely ruined our trip to Victoria which we were really looking forward towards.Written 8 August 2024
