- Footprints74893200Fantastic tour - we loved itMike is brilliant- incredibly knowledgeable about lots of different things - he crams in loads of interesting facts & he makes the tour good fun too. We loved it. Plus it turned out it was just us two on Saturday morning, so extra special. Would not hesitate to recommend Mike’s tour.
- JAMES R00Amazing one to one tour of Bristol on Monday morning! What can I say. You turn up to a guided tour expecting a large group going on the tour but it ends up just being yourself. Must be because it was a Monday! Anyway Mike the tour guide was was really informative and he knew his stuff about Bristol. From the time before Brunel the medieval Bristol to Brunel and the construction of the Clifton suspension bridge. To Banksy all the way to the present with the pulling down of the statue of Edward Colston and Black Lives Matter. Plus much more that hasn’t sunk in yet! Overall this is the perfect introduction to the city of Bristol. Thanks Mike and thanks for the pointers for which pubs to go to in the city.
- nova1122800Super tour! This tour was great! Mike is knowledgable and enthusiastic about Bristol's history, and shared it in a friendly and accessible way. Took the tour on a chilly and windy day but it still worked well as Mike uses a microphone and provides a small earpiece, making it easy to hear everything. All really interesting information - highly recommend the tour!
- Quentinmurray M00ExcellentCurrently holidaying in Bath and booked this excursion. Mike our guide and the weather excelled and filled us with knowledge on everything and anything Bristol has to offer , from history, architecture, spectacular views , leaving us with great memories of this beautiful city,,, once again thanks Mike ,,, regards Quentin & Abigail

- ohjo00Thanks Mike - You made history come to life....and we loved it.We loved everything about our experience. Our fantastic guide, Mike, was full of historical information and fun facts. We took in so many extraordinary sights and amazing views, short cuts off the beaten track and learnt many surprising things about Clifton and Bristol. 17,000 steps, wear comfy shoes and takes lots of photographs.
- Amandam24bd00Friendly tour guide Mike and a wealth of knowledge about the Bridge and Bristol. Amazing value for money !Spur of the moment booking and ended up solo and so got a private tour. Mike was really friendly and was so knowledgable and passionate about the Bridge and all things history in Bristol. Couldn’t have asked for more . Saw some amazing views and got everything backed up with his geographical and historical info. Was an interesting morning. Saw many hidden corners of Bristol never knew existed ….. great morning. Def wear comfy shoes and take Mikes tip and get the No 8 bus back to Clifton to pick up your car! 😀
- 149glynish00Clifton Suspension Bridge and walking tour.Excellent guide with encyclopaedic knowledge, Extremely personable. Covered a variety of historical and local, recent information. Would highly recommend. Clear information given regarding times and meeting points.

- S39OSandyv00Great Walking Tour of BristolAfter 20 years in Bristol in the 80's/90's, I thought I knew the city and its history pretty well. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Mike's knowledge of the city is fantastic and his commentary is very informative and amusing.
- andreasgL886QS00Excellent tour of Bristol's highlights and history with a brilliant guide!Mike was a brilliant guide! Very knowledgeable, well prepared and with a great sense of humour. - A5573JXrobj00Great, detailed tour of Clifton and old Bristol.Great, detailed tour of Clifton and old Bristol. Radio ear pieces allowed us to have a full running commentary.
- 555maryg00bristol 6 may 2023Mike is a terrific guide. Full of interesting and fun facts. I give his tour the highest recommendation. He is a gentleman and a scholar, waited for me as I was unavoidable detained. Take this tour on your arrival in Bristol. Mike is a wealth of knowledge of all things Bristol.
- Go6796283552900One of the best walking tours I've done!Mike was an excellent guide providing in depth information about a large part of the city. I would definitely recommend this tour.
- SusanLouw00Informative personalised walking tourThis was such an informative tour of Bristol. I was blown away by all the history of the city. Mike was an excellent guide and allowed us plenty of space to ask questions and explore certain points of the trip. I appreciated the hearing device, as I could follow his commentary throughout the busy city. It was also a bonus that we had near perfect weather in the middle of November! It is a long walk and I strongly recommend comfy walking shoes.

What an absolutely fantastic tour! Mike is absolutely brilliant, full of knowledge, incredibly personable, so interesting and took us to all kinds of areas of Bristol that we would totally have missed if we had roamed about by ourselves. The headsets worked perfectly.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and if we come to Bristol again, would look him up to take us elsewhere in the city even though we feel we covered most of it. Thank you so much for a great two hours.

We had a fab morning seeing the sights of Bristol! We went as a family of 4 and there was something for everyone. Mike is a brilliant tour guide, a great combination of knowledge and humour. Despite being born in (and local to!) Bristol for most of my life, we visited places that were new to me - Mike pointed out weird and wonderful parts of the city that I’ve walked by countless times! Thanks again for a great morning :)

Mike is hugely knowledgeable and knows the history of Bristol backwards and forwards. On a day of intermittent rain, he led us in and out of sheltered spots and kept us engrossed and entertained for the full length of the tour. Having done other walking tours in Bristol, I was astonished at the depth of his knowledge and how much fascinating detail he managed to pack in, with a perspective that ranged from art history to politics to sport. Plus, he's tremendously engaging and personable. Highly recommended!

The guide did an excellent job of walking us around Bristol and provides great details on the city. There is a fare bit of time spent discussing street art, which is not of much interest to me. However for others this may be highly interesting.

Mike was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and engaging. He wisely picked key, interesting areas/monuments/artworks and had interesting stories and facts based on them.
The walk was set to a decent pace and was enjoyed by our entire group.

This must be on everyone’s itnery when visiting Bristol. The rich knowledge of the city’s history that our tour guide had was remarkable and we learned an awful lot. The tour itself was well structured and we walked to several places that we would not have visited on our own. The tour guide was extremely friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. He really knows the city inside out and this is definitely the highlight of our trip to Bristol. Highly recommend!!

This was an excellent tour of Bristol, had a great mix of history and culture. We learnt lots, we particularly enjoyed the hidden gems, places we had strolled past earlier in the day and had no appreciation of the importance. The tour is set at a cracking pace but there is so must to see and hear, this really was a lovely surprise, Mike really showcased the city of Bristol. The audio ear pieces were helpful so everyone could hear the commentary. Mike our guide was extremely knowledgeable and truly passionate about sharing the history and culture of Bristol. We have done several walking tours all over the world, this is one of the best, we would highly recommend as a must when visiting Bristol.

Our guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. Even though we went through some heavy rain, we could still hear all the commentary through the simple but effective ear pieces.
Mike portrayed the city of Bristol with plenty of interesting facts, new and old and a good sense of humour along the way!
Highly recommend this tour. 2 hours whizzed by, and we felt great value for money.

Hi Mike. I have a chest problem and cannot wear a face-mask and am exempt from that and wear a lanyard & badge that states that. What is the position on the tour about that ? I do 'lateral -flow tests very regularly( always negative as I am careful!) . And, of course, I had my two vaccinations some months ago.

Hi John Mike will have to let you know his position but everything is outside. Should be ok.
Don’t know how bad your breathing is but there is a lot of walking involved
