Georgie - the best Cambridge tour guide ever
We had a great personal tour around the colleges. It was delivered by Georgie who was both awesome and delightful, hugely informative and happy to answer any questions. Georgie also (don’t tell anyone 😉) snuck us into a college to have a look around. The tour really made our visit to Cambridge worth it.

      Grand day out
Emily was brilliant. She gave a great tour presentation and elaborated the life and history of the University. Despite the pouring rain she kept our attention and was willing to answer all our queries with interest and insight.

      Cambridge tour with Georgie
We took this tour with some friends. We were a bit disappointed by the fact that we did not get inside any college garden, we understood would happen, and instead stood on public land throughout the tour. Georgie, our guide, easily made us forget that initial feeling with her very enjoyable and beautifully expressed explanation of many interesting and fun episodes of Cambridge history, uni structure, traditions and student life. At the end we were very pleased and didn’t regret having done the tour with someone that had experienced Cambridge from inside for a number of years was openly happy to share her knowledge.

      Great tour of Cambridge.
I really enjoyed this tour and learnt a lot about Cambridge and its past of education. Our tour guide, Georgie, did an amazing job of indulging us with this information. This was our first time in Cambridge so having a guide was important to get more familiar with the city and its colleges. We came with family from Spain yet Georgie spoke very clearly and all was very well understood. Thank you again to Georgie for giving us this amazing tour of the city.

The guide was excellent who made sure the entire trip duration was full of information added to his friendly chats and humour. I would recommend they keep umbrella and blankets as I have seen in the other boats passing by. Considering the £27 ticket in place of the £20 tickets available with other operators, they must be giving some basic necessities on the boat. The tour is very well routed and a must visit. The guide has provided lots of details and history about the colleges and the city, totally loved it.

Your business is aimed at tourists, many of whom have trouble understanding English or understanding the particular tone of English spoken by the British. You are offering a tour in which the guide is speaking most of the time in an environment that is often noisy. The guide should have a microphone or the visitors should be offered headphones. I was seated at the other end of the boat and could hear only 30% of what the guide was saying. I asked the guide to please speak louder and he did not. As I had my back to the guide, I turned and faced him and reminded him that I could hardly hear him. Nothing changed. When I bought the ticket I was told that the tour was led by university students. This is not true. That could be considered false advertising.

Overpriced. Having just done the walking tour, we had heard most of the ‘facts’ an hour before. A lot of what the guide, at the stern of the, said was inaudible to those at the front. It was a pleasure to see the buildings from the river but not worth the £25 per head.

We had a fantastic time on this tour. We were running late due to London train delays but the tour operators were kind enough to put us on a later tour at no additional cost. They also gave us a 15% discount vouchers for a pub and a cafe nearby. Our punter was the best part. He was true to his job, very knowledgeable and ensured we had a pleasant punt ride. Thank you guys. Happy to recommend.

We had Taith as our guide. A very personable young man, he was adept at talking and punting at the same time. His local knowledge was second to none and we felt safe in his hands.
Thoroughly enjoyable and educational. Well done, Taith.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the colleges and history. He made the whole experience very pleasurable.

We gave a top at the end of the trip - we sat at the front where he was operating the boat and although he made punting look easy it is hard work.

We had a great time on the river tour. Our guide was really knowledgeable and as he was a student at the University, he had a unique insight into the different colleges. Would thoroughly recommend this tour if you are in Cambridge and would like to find out a bit about the colleges that form the university. The architecture on the way is amazing as well.

mum and I had a very informative and interesting punt with tour guide Olly. He checked we could all hear and guided us along the river in a very professional way. The young lady at the beginning was also very helpful and proficient in her duties. A fun and relaxing event. 👏🏽

The meeting point was extremely easy to find , we booked online before we arrived in Cambridge and the directions to meeting point were so easy to follow. We had Alex take us on the punting tour and he was brilliant , he was so easy to listen too and had a great personality which made the experience even more interesting he knew so much about the history of the colleges and was happy to answer any questions , I was so glad that we had picked a tour which had students taking it as felt more personal that the bigger companies that operate on the river . I would definitely use them again

whilst staying in cambridge for a long weekend we arranged in advance a punting tour. This was so much more interesting than expected, we learned a lot of history and very interesting and informative facts. our punting guide was sam and considering how often he probably has to give the same talk and facts throughout his day he made it a very enjoyable trip for us as well as a nice way to relax along the way. We found all stay during this tour very friendly and helpful. would definately recommend this tour
