We booked a guided tour with Tony Rodger’s and we’re greeted by him outside the Guild Hall ,where he chatted with us and found out what we wanted from our tour.We then proceeded with the tour which lasted two hours where he guided us through the back streets and alleys with bucket loads of information given with humour and great passion.Tony is obviously in love with Cambridge and his knowledge is second to none,a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and i wholeheartedly recommend anyone to take time and book a tour.

I recently had a tour by Tony Rodgers as part of the Cambridge Tour Guides. I was part of a group of 20 people and we all really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it. Tony was funny and entertaining, but also very professional and knowledgeable, providing interesting and informative facts about the different colleges and Cambridge as a whole. I would definitely recommend it. A fabulous experience. Thank you Tony

The web site said 2h but all the emails said 90 minutes and 90 minutes it was. We have lived near the city for over 20 years and wanted to know more about it above and beyond the locations of the shops and coffee shops. We greatly enjoyed it and I would say that 95% of the information was new to me. Things we have walked past hundreds of times over the years were brought to life and we walked down several roads I have never used. Altogether highly recommended.

Hi! I'm sorry if you found the website confusing. I can't actually find anything that says the historic Cambridge pulbic tour is two hours, but if you can point me to it I'll make sure it's corrected. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour and learnt some new stuff about Cambridge. Thank you again for booking with us. Best wishes, Chris Skilton

My husband Geoff and I took a private walking tour with Tony Rodgers MA. BSc. He is a very intelligent and humorous tour guide who helped us to enjoy and learn a lot about Cambridge in 90 minutes. They way he shares fun facts, history and stories about graduates could't be more engaging. I will highly recommend travellers to take a tour with him, if they want to learn about Cambridge history in short time. Our plan is to visit Cambridge again and arrange in advance to spend more time with Tony. It will definitely be well spent time.

We arrived with little expectation as we knew very little about Cambridge or it’s history. We left having learnt lots about the history of Cambridge, it’s character and culture and felt Pamela was extremely knowledgable and was clearly very passionate about showcasing Cambridge to others. The walk was 2 hours long and altered due to COVID restrictions on college entries but you wouldn’t have known, Pamela was extremely engaging and educated us throughout. The walk was thoroughly enjoyable and interesting and we’d recommend to anyone visiting Cambridge. We did this walk as soon as we arrived on our 3 day visit to help us get our bearings of the city and we’d recommend doing this to others as it greatly helped.

Fantastic tour, Tony was a first class guide - incredibly knowledgeable (perhaps unsurprising given his 50 year association with Cambridge...), but also super personable and engaging to go with his dry sense of humour. Tony kept the tour very conversational and interactive, it really felt like we were being shown around by an old friend. A really memorable couple of hours on a cold February morning, would definitely recommend.

Tony Rodgers was our tour guide -- my daughter and I can't say enough good things about Tony and his guided tour. Part of the fun was exchanging stories about Alan Turing and WW2. After the tour we met up with friends at The Eagle and, as a retired USN officer, I was permitted to sign the wall (above the Abbott tap). Highly recommend this tour as you'll also obtain great information about the city and the University.

Despite it being a very chilly day for a walking tour in Cambridge, experienced guide Tony Rodgers provided an entertaining and educational experience. We forgot all about the weather and were captivated by his stories, information and excellent sense of humour. He did a superb job in capturing the essence of this historic city with his 90 minute tour. Highly recommended.

Our party of four were treated to a full 2 hours of non stop history, facts and anecdotes - sounds boring? You couldn't be more wrong! Our guide for the day, Tony Rodgers, is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge but his manner and delivery is full of humour and charm. It was a real pleasure to be fully entertained and educated by Tony. We would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team to anyone wishing to learn about this fascinating and historic city. Just a shame he couldn't get the sun god to bless us with some warmer weather.....but we don't hold that against him! Thank you Tony.

We had a fantastic morning with Tony. He entertained us and our three children ages 13, 12, and 10 intelligently and enthusiastically with just the right blend of history, fun facts, and tales of mischief. The two hours flew by. Tony also very considerately booked us a table for us for lunch at a great restaurant. One of the best tours we have ever had. Highly recommend!
