      Cambridge tour and punting trip
This was a marvellous afternoon spent with Tim Cook and our large party of siteseers. He managed to keep us all together and informed us of the history (as well as lesser known nuggests of information) of Cambridge. Well done, especially as we were dodging showers at times as well. Recommend this tour to anyone.

Informative and great fun tour of Cambridge University colleges
Tim was a wonderful guide. He held everyone's attention throughout the tour with a mixture of facts, humorous anecdotes and professional delivery. I would highly recommend Tim to anyone thinking of taking a tour.

Great Cambridge University and city tour
‘Guide and Peek’ with Tim Cook was a joy. Visiting Cambridge for two days in August we opted for Tim’s tour of the centre and the colleges. What you get is not hurried; it is informative, packed with details and fun facts. And it certainly isn’t dry: Tim’s narrative, drawing on the history of the University, whilst instructive, was done with a gentle humour that took us with him on a journey through the streets with a smile. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it.

      Fantastic tour in good company
Clear, accurate information with very good humour and flare for keeping control. Answered all our questions and tailored the event well for a large group. You'll love the stories of the characters who have made history in this ancient but beautiful place. Had great fun. Want to go again soon just for the experience.

Informative and entertaining - fabulous tour!!
What a great tour! Our guide Tim took our small group around some of the less well known back streets behind various colleges - his knowledge is superb, and the small details and stories he tells are truly fascinating. This was the first time I’d ever had a tour guide show me round in Cambridge, even though I’ve been there many times, but I learned so many interesting things, it was amazing value. Tim clearly has a passion for the city, and went to great lengths to be both informative and entertaining - he used humour and his friendly nature to great effect! By the end of the tour, we really felt like we had seen and heard a lot, but not in an overwhelming way - it was just right. Thanks Tim!

      Great Walking and unting Tour
We enjoyed our walking and punting tour. Our wonderful walking guide, Tim, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Besides our great guide Tim, the tour group was only 10 people, which allowed us to ask questions and hear clearly. Tim provided all the history and fun stories about Cambridge and the University. The walking tour took about 1 hour and 15 minutes, with the punting taking 45 minutes, which was perfect so that we weren't exhausted after a long, long tour. Overall, this tour was great, I highly recommend it as a great way to get your introduction to this wonderful city.

      Absolutely perfect tour!
We had a free afternoon in Cambridge so booked this tour with Tim to make sure we saw the best of the city. We had the best time, and really fell in love with Cambridge thanks to Tim. You learn so many interesting facts whilst walking around the beautiful buildings Cambridge has to offer and then you finish with a very interesting and entertaining punt along the river learning even more about the architecture and history of the city. I've only been on 45mins-1hr tours before so thought this one might be too long for us- but the time absolutely flies because you're kept so interested. You won't regret booking!

      Tim an excellent guide
Walking tour of the colleges, outside a chat about the history and interesting facts our guide was knowledgeable and kept up the mixed groups interest. We then were taken on a punt for a trip along the Cam on the other side of the colleges by another guide who added to the info and added a few of his own "stories" ! a good couple of hours spent

Brilliant trip- really great information. Tim kept in touch before and during the tour was very friendly, he is very knowledgeable about the historical facts and stories of the city but brings them to life in a very clear and interesting way. Very up to date on changes happening at the moment and his recommendations were spot on

Tim was excellent. He is very knowledgeable but doesn't show off. His narrative was pitched perfectly for his audience, with humour and care. We would thoroughly recommend booking with him - good value and money well spent.

Our guide Tim Cook was extremely knowledgable and reeled off names, dates and facts. He was very interesting and the 2 hours flew by. He was very funny and after 2 hours we felt we had learned so much about the history of Cambridge. Would highly recommend and we loved Tim’s enthusiastic delivery of information.

Due to private issues I had to cancel the trip. However when I clicked onto "manage my booking" it informed me "if you cancel now, you will receive a FULL refund" so i cancelled and was promptly met with a no refund email and no way of rebooking onto the same tour i just paid for £44 for. Great service

We had Tim Cook as our guide and he was very knowledgable and extremely patient - some of the tour group were rather challenging. He adapted the tour to suite the pace of everyone and we were with him for a lot longer than the advertised 1.5 hours. Learnt a lot about Cambridge and the university - just wish I could remember it all!

This personal tour was definitely with the money, Tim's knowledge of the history and attendees of the various colleges was second to none.

Plenty of information and lightheaded conversations made the time pass so quickly, in fact we ran over the alloted time by half an hour.

If you do get the chance to go and would certainly recommend this tour

I’m so glad I booked a tour with Tim. He’s an absolute fountain of knowledge and threw a lot of humour into the tour, making it very enjoyable. So many interesting stories about the origins of the colleges, the students, the fellows and Nobel prize winners who have passed through. He really brought Cambridge, and it’s fantastic history, to life.
If you’re in Cambridge and have an hour and a half free, I would highly recommend you join one of Tim’s tours, you won’t be disappointed.

With our twins newly started at Cambridge, we thought we should learn a little more about the history of the town and the University. Tim fulfilled this goal, and then some. Immensely knowledgeable, very funny, and adaptable to our particular interests, we spent an intensely interesting two and a half hours walking the core of historic Cambridge. From early Pink Floyd through kings with light sabres and the town's bespoke lighting he covered the quirks as well as the historic colleges and all things academic. Noble prize winners, discoveries like the electron and DNA (whose discoverers rushed down to their local pub to announce it to the world), this tour had it all. Can't recommend highly enough.

Make sure you have a large notebook with you because there is a lot of history that Tim covers. And, you might want to swot up in advance on your Kings, Queens, relations, and hangers on.

A brilliant tour and an incredible amount to take in. Tim picks out those hidden features that you wouldn’t necessarily notice just walking by. Really enjoyed the tour - highly recommended.
