Perfect way to start your Cambridge adventure!
I got a tour in the early morning and it ended up only being me, two other people, and our tour guide Mickey. The tour Mickey gave us was top notch, we saw a large number of different buildings and for each one she gave interesting information about the history of the place, but also about her own experiences of being a student. We learnt about the different colleges and the historic rivalries between some of them, and what being a student in a Hogwarts-style school is like 😂. I never felt like she was rushing through the tour and she was happy to answer any of our questions. I'd highly recommend doing a morning tour on one of the first days of your trip, it's a great way to get you out of bed early and avoid the crowds while getting bearings on the University and I even got some cool recommendations to visit Ely Cathedral, although I didn't manage a trip. Just a heads up if you're going on this tour, make sure to use the Cambridge Alumni Tour location on Google Maps, not just Kings College, because the place is huge, and it can easily lead you to the wrong place.

      Lovely college town tour
The Cambridge alumni tour was great bang for the buck! Our tour guide Joe was friendly, funny and seemed to really enjoy his job of showing us around the colleges. We opted in for Kings Chapel which is beautiful!! And we also went to the round church in town at his recommendation, which had loads of information on history of Christianity in England/Cambridge. Lovely college town and the tour was very helpful in highlighting the interesting history.

Pleasant visit of the colleges led with alumni.
Excellent tour with Francesco. Had an excellent time under his guiding and learnt a lot about the university, its colleges and little stories. Very good choice to have an alumni telling us about its experience as a student. Recommend the boat tour as well.

      Very positive experience in Cambridge
Very much enjoyed Emma's tour and commentary and the punting was superb (forgot our young man's name but he was terrific as well). Kings college was well worth seeing.

      Great tour!
Great tour with Francesco! Knowledgable and funny and willing to share stories from his own experience as a student. We had a great time.

      Great tour - definitely recommend.
Our guide, Francesco, was very knowledgeable and full of interesting facts about the various colleges. Great experience and my 12-yr old nephew enjoyed it too. I’ve lived in Cambridge for 5 years and learnt lots of new information. Definitely recommend.

      Great tour!
The tour was great, full of interesting information and lovely viewpoints. Richard was very polite, pacient, attentive and caught our attention with hidden details and anecdotes. He stood with us longer than required and patiently took all our doubts.

      Alumni adding value
It was very nice to have an alumni being the tour guide. I have been to other walking tours before - they share some common points about the college, but it was the little anecdotes that made this alumini-led tour more fun. I enjoyed it very much!

      A must in Cambridge
Richard guided us through the key areas and colleges in Cambridge. His knowledge and stories of the town as a historian were fantastic. We were lucky to have him as our guide!

      small group is the best
It was a small group of 4 tourists (including me) which is desirable. The tour was guided by Joe who studies history in Oxford. He is both friendly and informative.

      Cambridge Alumni Tour
Richard was an excellent tour guide / very informative on the history / clearly has a passion for the subject (including telling you why the top right pub window on the photo is not updated / like the two to the left / always left open)

Enjoyable walk through a vibrant city
Cambridge is such a beautiful and vibrant city. I happened to visit on graduation weekend so it certainly was even more exciting as there were graduates everywhere. We walked around and saw so many beautiful sights. The parks and the river were so beautiful as are the buildings.

I would have loved to have given this a great review but unfortunately we were phoned 3 hours before our tour was due to start to say that our tour guide had phoned in sick. We were offered a slot on a tour on a later slot that night but we were already booked to do something else in the evening. (Hence booking the original tour at the earlier time.) We were really disappointed as we had been looking forward to our ghost walk all week as part of our special weekend in Cambridge. Hopefully our refund will be forwarded as promised.

We had a great tour with Francisco- it was meant to be shared but ended up being private after others were probably put off by the weather! However, the gloom and wet only added to the atmosphere. It was a great insight in to some less well known history of Cambridge and showed us places we hadn’t seen before, as well as places we did know but weren’t aware of the history. We would definitely recommend.

Thanks to an amazing tou r guide, Arushi, I had a wonderful experience in Cambridge! We walked around the city, including a small bookstore near King's Collage, the Guildhall, and a pub The Eagle. They were not so popular that even if you walk pass by you wouldn't notice that there would be a interesting story hidden. The tour was a little bit shorter than I expected for the cost, but I still found it worth paying for. Next time I visit to Cambridge, I will remember the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our ghost tour with our guide Annie. She was lovely and the stories were suitably spooky! A great way to build up an appetite for dinner and see some lesser known bits of the city at the same time.

Francesco was a fantastic guide and gave us lots of stories about the ghosts in Cambridge as well the general history of landmarks as we went around. He was funny and I loved his cheery Italian manner which lightened the mood even when it rained. Thanks very much Francesco for a great job, good luck with your studies and thanks waiting for us as we were late. Everyone was excellent in the company and I would recommend them to anyone.

This was so much fun and a great way to find out about the history of Cambridge. Our guide, Francesco, was informative and engaging and very knowledgeable on the stories he told us. I would definitely recommend this, especially if you are visiting Cambridge for the first time like us. Francesco was a lovely guy and also was happy to give us recommendations for dinner and sightseeing after the tour.

This was a fun way to spend an hour around Cambridge. Lindsay, our guide, was keen to make sure we all saw the places and heard the stories. I've spent many occasions in Cambridge, but it was great to see some different locations and some old ones from a different perspective.

Really enjoyable tour. Tommy, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the subject matter. The tour covered lots of different locations and had a wide range of ghostly tales. Tommy also told us lots about the history and traditions of the university which was very interesting. He gave us lots of recommendations to help us get the most out of our time in Cambridge.

Francesco was brilliant, some really interesting stories and answered all of our questions and had great knowledge of Cambridge!
Only thing to note of the tour was that trip advisor says entry/admissions to the colleges is included, however we didn’t actually go into the grounds of any.
Thanks Francesco for a great tour!

Walking round Cambridge at night with all the beautiful buildings lit up was perfect. Lindsay, our guide, brought the city alive with the ghostly stories. A fun night out shared with friends and family. Great early Halloween night out!
