Nice walk with lots of good pubs
Lovely walk along the Thames although we did not get to Chiswick as the river had breached its bank and part of the route was flooded.

    Interesting and leisurely
The app was really easy to use and audio tour was really interesting. I liked the fact that gps tracked your phone and only started to talk when you reached the next destination. It was great for my friend who has a lung condition so fast walking was out. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to our next tour !

    Unable to use without internet
I was not able to open the app as the area had terrible internet connection. So it did not work at all for me. Perhaps useful to suggest travellers to download the app and be able to listen without internet connection?!

    Amazing little village
If it weren't for the cars parked on the side of the road you'd swear you'd walked back in time when entering the village.

    Excellent tour
Well worth downloading this tour. The route led you round all the main things to see in Lavenham and gave lots of interesting information. We just bought one tour and listened to it together. This is the second Voicemap tour I have purchased and I'll definitely look out for them in the future.

    DIY Tour
First time doing a DIY tour and we’ll definitely do it again. Stop when you want, for how long you want. Just the right level of detail. Very pleasant voice too. All good!

    Still standing
The guide was easy to download from the App Store applicable to the mobile phone . Instruction indicated how to input the tour code. The audio tour commenced on the high street and guided you around Lavenham in a logical sequence , both verbally and via the map on your phone. Guide could be stopped, restarted or replayed as necessary. Information was interesting / concise at each location. Would recommend this tour and would use other tours from this provider in the future.

    Enjoyable and interesting walking tour.
We found the walking tour to be great. We walked around parts of Lavenham which we wouldn't have visited otherwise and learned a brief history of a range of buildings including a number of the houses so we understood what we were looking at. The style of the narration was really good, almost as if the guide was with us at times. The GPS function worked perfectly with the audio resuming as we reached each point of interest, which were also shown on the map as part of the app. The app even guided us to the start point of the tour as a Satnav.

    Very informative
Like having your own personal guide. Not too detailed, just enough to make it informative and interesting. Will be using this service again. Remember to visit the Guildhall too, terrific museum. Best Cream Tea ever!

Great walking tour, most suitable for adults
An excellent easy to follow walking tour. The person telling the history was easy to understand and made it very interesting , I would highly recommend this tour which took about an hour at average pace, there were plenty of opportunities to take lovely photos of the ancient buildings.

    Lovely day along the Thames
This is a great tour along the historical trading heart of London. Some great pubs with terraces overlooking the river - we had lovely weather. The history and ingenuity of industry and Londoners is always fascinating

Really enjoyed. Good narrative and good gps set up. The three of us really enjoyed learning about Lavenham during the tour. Would highly recommend and will do other tours in future.

Fine Place to watch and enjoy!
The COVENT GARDEN is a place to enjoy and visit all year long. Always street art, always music and always shopping. Several restaurants and coffee shops are available. It is fun to visit and watch!

We don’t recommend this service without fully researching when you can tour the colleges and where to park. We paid (no refunds allowed) and THEN learned once we got to Cambridge at the exact location provided by the tour that there was a gate to that college stating closed to the public. The three audio tours we bought were useless and all of the colleges closed during the holidays. Had there been a disclaimer we would not have bought the tours. We recommend buying a guided walking tour in person and don’t waste your time on these self guided audio tours that are non refundable.

Hi Jenna We're sorry you didn't use the tour. It can be taken without visiting the college grounds so you don't need entry but you can usually purchase an entry ticket. I've provided you with a refund as I can see you didn't use the tour. You'll need to get in touch with the other tours you booked with regards to refunds on their tours. We only offer one tour in Cambridge. Keep well, Alicia

This is not a comprehensive tour of Cambridge, but it hit many of the obvious highlights and also included some that I didn't know about, like Castle Mound. I enjoyed the narrator's personal notes and found the tour easy to follow. There were a couple occasions when traffic noise drown out her directions, but it was easy to rewind to get back on track. I recommend combining this tour with a punting tour to get another perspective.

Thank you for a wonderful experience around the beautiful Cambridge centre. Loved the facts, the information was clear and interesting with a personal touch from the author. The GPS position comments worked perfectly and were very helpful!

Thanks a lot! A very good option for those who love walking tours and are limited in time.

Whilst this tour was informative it was extremely limited, focussing on only a couple of colleges. I think that it should have been made clearer in the description of the tour. I ended up having to buy a map to look at the rest of the colleges (of which there are many). Caveat emptor.

We booked this audio tour (by VoiceMap) partly because all of the other tours were booked during the one day we would be in Cambridge. It turned out to be just right for us. We could take the tour on our own schedule, replay parts we wanted to hear again, and meander around the campus at a leisurely pace. The guide seems to have touched on most of the interesting spots. What would have given it 5 stars is if, rather than silence in between walking from 'point A to point B,' that a bit more history or folklore could be given. Other than that, it was a very good, clear description of what we wanted to see. During our stay the Trinity library was not open, so we could not go inside.

What an amazing city Cambridge is and how interesting and well explained this walking audio tour was! As we don’t like going around exploring cities in big groups, misunderstanding some explanations and not hearing others, we opted for this excellent audio guide.
We walked in the beautiful city of Cambridge at our own pace, even stopping in the middle of the tour to spoil ourselves with an ice cream. We are keeping the tour in our phones so that next time when we visit Cambridge we will be able to listen to it, or parts of it, again.
Lastly, we also loved the low price of the tour compared to accompanied ones. We managed well even without a human guide to ask questions. When we wanted to know a particular fact which was not mentioned in the audio guide, we simply asked a local!

Pretty good for a self guided tour, easy to use and download. It really covers only the main colleges. Handy to have if you don’t want to rely on a guide and want to keep things flexible

Really great walking tour of Cambridge. Even though I have lived here for years I found it really interesting and full of facts I didn’t know about.

We really enjoyed this audio tour. We know Cambridge well but this tour was packed with engaging details which made it fun and informative. Did you know that Trinity College library houses the original version of Winnie the Poo?
