This is our second time and we came back after the amazing time we had before. Again we received the best service, welcome and lesson. Will do it again and definitely recommend it.

I just finished an intermediate coaching weekend course with my son and a mate. The whole team at Escape is friendly, helpful, and caring when dealing with all the participants. Nothing was too much trouble. From the coaches Mike and Reubin, and the support team Simone and Lyndsey, they all wanted us to have the best experience possible. Thanks so much to them!

Used Escape a number of times, wanted a refresher to get us back into surfing, placed into a small group of similar ability surfers with our Instructor, Andrew. As usual, had a brilliant time in the hands of an amazing instructor who passed his knowledge onto us and helped us improve our surfing. Will use again for further improvement and would always recommend as the team at escape are the best.

Cannot praise this place enough, had a great one on one lesson and it was worth every penny. I was abit on the fence as I’d just been picking up surfing on my own and thought I could have got better as time went on. I was completely wrong! Instructor was really helpful, loads of knowledge for my Q’s and knew that I had picked up some bad habits straight away. Talked me through some pointers and areas to change and I was flying on the big waves within the hour! This has helped me on the water ever since and I’m hitting a lot more waves now on my own. I’m useless with names but I think the instructor was Andrew ? (Sorry if I’ve got that wrong) So a big thank you to him, Mike and the rest of the team. Top set of people I’ll be back next year 😁😎🤙

A fabulous experience for my 12 year old son. Jack the instructor was kind, encouraging and patient with the kids, and my son was soon standing up on the board. He absolutely loved it! The beach itself where the lessons are held had more gentle waves suitable for beginners and intermediates. It all went very well.

Amazing school! It was my 3rd time and I hope to continue next year. They are very welcoming and attentive, alway put you in the right group and find the right wave for you. It is way more than just group lessons or private ones. It's like a big family, thank you!

Fantastic lesson with Jack! Thank you so much We had a blast, learnt loads and when my youngest stood on a weaver fish the staff couldn’t have been more helpful getting him back up and getting rid of the burn! It was our first time properly surfing and by the end of our lesson we were all catching waves, able to stand and my oldest was even starting to turn and paddle onto the waves!

Booked a two hour private lesson for myself and my son. We had Jack as our instructor and he was very good. Friendly, good natured, patient and encouraging. Having spent the past 35 years as a professional sports coach, I know good teaching and coaching. Jack and his colleagues have very well structured lessons and excellent coaching skills. I saw them working with pupils of all ages and abilities and they certainly know how to pitch the lesson and improve people. They got me standing and surfing, so they must be good!

We had the best time here. We got this as a gift for christmas off my parents and it definitely did not disappoint. The instructors were so lovely and explained everything so well. Will definitely be coming back here. A special thank you to our instructor Henry.

Amazing couple of hours! Great instructors, easy process, easy to find and close by the sea. Have to carry the boards yourself and walk to the beach and back which is only 5mins each way. Only issue was I would prefer to have a locker for valuables to be left in rather than just in the changing room. They take photos too to look at and buy afterwards. Overall highly recommended 😁

Such a fantastic place to learn to surf. Very friendly and happy vibe as soon as you arrive, all the staff were helpful and chatty. Our instructor Jack was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail, always felt like the kids were in safe hands in the water. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Would 100% recommend this place!!!

This is the third time we have been to Escape surf school in Newquay and it was the best so far! Lindsay and Mike are excellent hosts who run the place like clockwork but also so relaxed! We loved the family surf lessons with Henry who is an excellent instructor and also very kind and patient! We highly recommend this surf school and it is also well located for great food from Belushi's!

Had an amazing time learning to surf with Henry! He's an excellent teacher who provided valuable advice. Overall, a fantastic experience - I'll definitely be returning for more lessons!

This was a great experience and we both managed to stand up and surf thanks to the lovely instructors. We had two lessons with Pigeon and another with Jack, and aside from being lovely guys, were really good coaches- patient and encouraging. Thanks for helping me live a lifelong ambition 😃

A great team of professional, knowledgable and technically brilliant surfing instructors. Had daily surfing sessions during our week. All teachers/coaches were enthusiastic in all conditions, supportive and provided individual tailored positive advice and tips. We were aged between 15 and 65 years old and the whole Escape team were great with all age groups and always remained particularly tolerant with us at the older end of the age spectrum! Great friendly people. Great week's surfing. Great fun! Thank you Mike, Simone, Reubin, Pigeon, Henry and the rest of the team.
