It was fantastic and the ride was smooth and very comfortable as the weather and sea conditions were perfect. I would love to experience it again possibly with a little more challenging sea conditions and see how The Raptor RIB performs. Looking forward to next season. We went with the last tour in the evening, around 17 Uhr 30 pm. Our guide was Max, nicknamed "Mad Max". We had originally opted for the Raptor Ride, but our younger son was still too small for the seats. So we decided for the Seasafari. The regrets of this decision were very short, as Max took us on a absolutely perfect ride, in all speeds. The tour before had seen dolphins and a seal, they said, we saw the beautiful ocean, landscape and coves arount Torquay, a seashell farm in the Ocean and some real big Ocean liner. And learnt a lot about countryside, the history of Torquay and the not always easy situation of living in a country that is a Kingdom. Max is a great and safe driver, an expert of sea life and ships, well read and funny, thank you from all uf us!

Did this activity yesterday. Thought it was a little pricey when I booked it but it was worth every penny. Max was a great tour guide and checked we were all happy for a little bit of speed and that we didn’t mind getting a little wet before flooring it!! We didn’t stop smiling the whole time. We were even lucky enough to spot a seal in the caves. Don’t hesitate if you are considering this trip and after you can book another trip with them and get 20% off which is a exactly what we did

Really professional outfit. Felt looked after well. They have a range of trips from the Raptor for crazy thrills to more sedate but still great costal trip I went on with my son. Fast enough for fun but not so terrifying you couldn’t take your mum and dad with you.
Nice bit of history and a few sites to see. Weather today was warm but bit choppy and windy so not so much luck seeing dolphins or seals. Still hand a good time.
Boats were new, well equipped and felt very safe.
Would recommend it for a good way to break up a day.

Had a great time. Saw various birds and a few seals. Being April wasn’t expecting to see much as it’s still quite cold. Was a nice calm day so was a pretty gentle ride. I 100% recommend a coat, even if it’s warm at the harbour that soon changes, don’t forget suncream too even if overcast, especially under your eyes.

Really amazing value for money, compared to other boat experiences this one was by far the more adrenaline filled, exhilarating experience. Came here with my best friend and we booked the seafari rib eye which was very good value for money! We enjoyed this so much we have booked the raptor experience! The boat takes you right up and close to the attractions/locations which makes it a lot more personal compared to the other boat experiences, also the ride is like no other. The staff are very friendly, well informative and you are well informed of safety procedures making you feel safe. Definitely get what you pay for and I would recommend this experience to everyone, also the views are unmatched!

This was an amazing trip with my 7 year old son and a friend’s two teenage children, on a shared trip with one other passenger. It was a grey day, raining the day before, which might be preferable for glare on the sea, but the sea was calm. We hoped we’d get lucky on the trip, as I understand it’s partly the luck of the draw on seeing some of the amazing wildlife. After having the good fortune to see a resting seal on Thatcher Rock, we then had the sheer delight of spending 20 minutes in the middle of a whole pod of Common Dolphins, easily 20 or so Dolphins - around and under the boat, rising out of the water and playing in the wake. The kids obviously loved it, and this was the first time for all of us seeing Dolphins so up close in the wild. If fortunate, this can best be described as the experience of a lifetime.
I’ve been up close with captive Bottlenose Dolphin’s performing in Tenerife and Majorca before. This experience however, seeing Dolphins up close in their natural habitat, in a family pod, was an amazing, hugely moving and a more magical experience that we will never forget.
My son now wants a RIB. Thank you Torquay Watersports.

BE AWARE, they will cancel your booking last minute if the boat is not full! We had planned the day to have the tour in the afternoon (booked a day in advance), yet they cancelled last minute because the boat was not full. They told us at first that it was because of the wind, then told us that they were happy to take us if we paid extra. Not very nice, especially that it was part of a birthday vacation.

Thank you for your review.
We are genuinely very sorry that you had a poor experience with us.
In the interest of fairness we must point out that you were contacted earlier in the day and offered an alternative arrangement at a reduced rate but you chose to stay with your original booking.
We are a small privately owned company and you will be fully aware that our fuel prices have doubled in the last 4 weeks. We are desperately struggling to absorb these costs and maintain value for money.
We simply cannot run the boats at a loss and therefore require a minimum number of people booked.
You will find this is the case with EVERY boat ride operator in the UK.
We really would like you to come back and experience the amazing sights and sounds of Torbay - please give us a call and we hope we can find an opportunity to get you out on the water with us.

Cant recommend torquay watersports highly enough worth every penny. Theres plenty of choice in torbay for boat trips but this 1 is by far the best. From booking our tickets to getting off the boat ecerything was fantastic. We booked on the seafari trip and our captain was brilliant very knowledgable and friendly. We saw and learnt so much in the hour we were out in the bay. Highlight of the trip was the dolphins they were so close to the boat you could almost touch them it was truly a magical experience. Our captain stayed in the area a little longer so we could watch the dolphins jump oit the water and play. My battery had gone flat on my phone but he offered to film them on his own phone and email us the footage afyer the trip which he did and we were so thankful to him. Your not gauranteed to see the dolphins but even without spotting them the trip is still worth every penny.

A great family trip, little one not big enough for the raptor (maybe next year😀) so booked this instead.
It was a cold and rainy day but that did not stop our guide Greg doing all he could to make our trip enjoyable.
He had a great knowledge of the local area and answered any questions we had. Did his best to steer us away from the rain but still got wet from the sea spray🤣🤣.
A really enjoyable trip which my little boy loved would absolutley recommend as a family trip. Well worth the money. Thanks Greg and team😀

What an amazing experience, very friendly and professional staff. Weather conditions were perfect for us, the tour was of Torbay and Max our driver was very knowledgeable. Once we had seen London bridge and the small islands, we set off to Berry Head with fingers crossed. YES, we found dolphins which eagerly swam around the rib and entertained us. Would highly recommend this activity and maybe you will be lucky enough to see them too!

Hi, can I take a small rucksack on the boat?
Written 7 September 2023
Should be fine. If they think it is too big they will keep it at their desk until the ride is over. If you do decide to take it with you make sure it's waterproof!

Hi , my daughter has a care. Would there be a concession or can the carer travel free so she can access this?
Written 28 June 2023
I would imagine the carer would need to pay for a seat, as there’s a limited number of seats.
