An absolutely fabulous kayaking trip thanks to Nils, Rob and especially Daisy! With 2x 8 year olds and 2x 10 years olds, it was never going to be easy but Nils couldn’t have been more caring or patient. We made it all the way to the cafe for ice cream and had a proper giggle on the way back thanks to a ridiculous paddle-based water fight! I cannot recommend this enough - everything about the booking was perfect. Thanks Nils!

Dave was fab, we had a great time fun, informative, we were complete beginners, it was a really good experience, and I think my daughter has found a new hobby 😀

A very enjoyable trip with a guide who knew his stuff. Would have no hesitation in going out again if I were in the area. Went along the coast and found some sea caves. Stopped on the way back for a coffee at Cafe Rio overlooking the sea.

A really enjoyable half day kayaking with Nils. There were four in our party. 2 x. Adults, a seven and eleven year old. We saw a seal, kingfishers and Nils provided interesting local information as we floated down and up the river.

Nils and his team were brilliant throughout our first experience of sea kayaking. A lovely welcome and very clear briefing set us up for an amazing day along the Devon coastline. What a fantastic way to check out the views and explore some secluded beaches. We look forward to visiting again next Summer :-). Thank you to Nils

First time kayaking!!...it was absolutely great, but me and my family were dying towards the end,luckily we had Dave as our instructor, he made the trip fun and Interesting, had loads of fun! 5/5

I've never kayaked before and my daughter has only been a couple of times, so a pair of novices. As soon as we arrived Nils was friendly and very helpful. We were given a safety brief and gave us an explanation of how to paddle, turn and Nils gave us tips on how to make things easier as we went on our adventure. We saw seals and seabirds which was amazing. As we went along, Nils shared a lot of interesting local knowledge which made the trip even more pleasurable. All in all we had a fantastic trip.

This was my first paddle of 2024 and as an beginner paddler, I was given gentle support and encouragement on the trip. We started with a clear safety briefing, which used accessible language, easy for all to understand. We spotted wildlife (birds and seals), landmarks and plants. I can thoroughly recommended Kayahub Totnes..I also commissioned them last year to provide a private overnight paddle/camping trip down the Dart with friends for a big birthday celebration..this has stayed in everyones memory and we will be doing the same again this summer :-)

Nils is a fantastic guide, me and my Friends have been on many trips with him now along the dart and sea kayaking. He has a wealth of information about the area and made sure we had lots of fun! Nils has always calmed my nerves as however much I like being in the water I still freak out about falling in!! He definitely has a good joke around but I always feel safe and at ease when taking the trips. Such a great guy with a passion that shines through for making sure people are enjoying the sport as much as he does!
