    First Class Staff
We went to Brighton for a birthday weekend away and tried the Brighton i360. The staff advised a bottle of bubbles which went down a treat. We had a glass while waiting and when aboard, they had it on ice for the trip up and down! Views were amazing and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating! Shoutout to Katie who was very funny and pointed out some of the sights we could see at the top! We would recommend the experience to anyone visiting Brighton!

    Great experience
This is my 2nd visit, and wanted to take my son and grandkids. Great for kids as they can safely walk around without fear of anything happening to them. Kids, and son loved it, plus we had beautiful blue skies and clear views. A definite must see while in Brighton.

    Highly recommended
Even though the weather wasn’t great, this was an amazing experience! The gift shop is definitely worth a visit with a huge choice of lovely gifts for Christmas. The tree decorations are beautiful. All of the staff were very friendly but big shout to David at the gift shop who was super helpful. Will certainly return on our next visit to Brighton.

    Amazing views!
Went here this afternoon. Bit scared of heights but sooo glad I went. Perfect clear day for it. Views were amazing! Drink a bit expensive, but I was happy not to have one and enjoy the views! Definitely a must!

    Great Views!
Great views of Brighton. Quite expensive for the experience as it doesn’t last very long. Expensive bar inside the pod.

    Awful Cafe, great view!!
We went to the cafe, which doesn’t seem to have its own section, but I’m happy to move my review if it does!! We came into you i360 cafe as the view was good for a morning coffee and a cake. We went for the scones and clotted cream and jam. U fortunately the clotted cream was mouldy when I opened it which kind of ruined the whole idea. The lad behind the counter didn’t really help much so we left. £11.80 poorer and really not happy!!

    Perfect solo sightseeing trip!
Was in Brighton for a day , and out of all the activities I did , this was definitely the highlight! The deck gives views of the town and the sea , and it’s beautiful! Would recommend this as a must do if you’re in Brighton . Took the train from London and did not regret jt .

    Enjoyable experience
A wonderful 'must do ' experience when visiting Brighton, the pod rises to 450 feet then waits before returning slowly to the ground, it has seats inside but you really need to walk around to get the best from the experience, there's a bar but the drinks are really expensive, and as with most attractions of this type your bags are searched before boarding and you cannot take your own alcohol inside the pod, my partner certainly had a birthday to remember, don't forget your camera

    Great visit
Really enjoyed the Brighton eye 360. Felt better than the London Eye, so much more space and amazing air conditioning. Higher up too.

    Overpriced eyesore
This is an overrated, eyesore that has ruined the Brighton landscape. All the locals hate it and want it torn down. Now that it's officially flopped, hopefully we will finally get our wish. The Brighton Wheel was better, but these idiots decided to make this ugly looking tentpole and stick it slam bang in the middle of town. The only good reviews are from people who don't live here. Mind you, it's pretty poor anyway, when you can get the same view from Sussex Heights!

    i360 Walk Around
A surprise birthday treat for me by dizzy. Not only were we going up…we were doing the outside walk. And what a great experience it was on a beautiful sunny day. Noah and Lloyd were absolutely fantastic. Well done and worth every penny.

    Misled, but stunning views
Our decision to go up the Brighton i360 was a spontaneous one, and while the experience itself was good, we nearly missed out on our slot due to unclear and misleading marketing and staff. The only thing informing us that we were meant to arrive 20 minutes prior to our timeslot was a small print in the bottom corner of the tickets which is very easily missed if you don’t study them. Additionally, we were told it would be 50 minutes, when in reality we were back on the ground in 20. There’s nothing wrong with that, but we would’ve liked to know what was actually being sold to us (especially for the price.) Fortunately, though, the views going up the tower were stunning, handing you equally beautiful scenes of both the sea and the city of Brighton. It wasn’t too busy, leaving enough room to comfortably walk around and look out onto different sides. The gift shop at the end of the experience was filled with great products by local, independent artists.

Has to be done when in Brighton..
We thought about renting this for my daughters 21st, but decided to do something else. She was on this flight and was not fussed that we did not do the birthday thing (so not a wow then?!) . I do not have a head for heights but felt very secure on this flight. Booked on line with no issue. Chap at the gate checked our email to ensure we had paid. Got a drink (not cheap and you can not take your own food and drink on) Didn't have to wait long. They do a bag check on arrival. Not too busy. Very slow moving and smooth flight so no scary points. There is a bar and snacks on board. They also have packages so check out their web site. Lovely view and you can walk round to see the land and the sea. Air-con too. There is a person that explains the landmarks (and all the other packages they offer of course) About 25 min journey. Seats available if you can not stand for long. Easy access on and off (ramps etc) No toilets on the fight but you can access them before and after. Unisex WC with baby change. Enjoyable. Would not do again as pricey for what it is. Although, noticed some hotels are incorporating flight tickets into hotel packages, so worth asking. Glad we have done it now, esp' when I do not have a head for heights

No official on board toilet so very discriminatory and stupid of the designers. Staff have a secret toilet we were told by locals only used by the public when the pod gets stuck in the air. It is 100m higher than any crane so good luck with that if you are pregnant or have Crohn’s disease. We had to turn around and enjoy it from the ground.
Cheaper to build a new Pier with millions of visitors not this architects craft one with a handful.

We went to the i360 2 weeks ago. The tower experience was good, a bit overpriced. We booked a restaurant package which included a viewing and a meal. The restaurant is really more of a cafe than a restaurant. We waited for sometime to be seated even though the staff could see us waiting and there were very few people in the restaurant. We were led to our table and told that about a third of the items on the already very limited menu menu were not available. The, when we ordered were told 2 more of the items we ordered were not available either. We asked for a refund for the good but were told this was not possible so we would have to write to request the refund. We did receive a call a couple of days later and were advised that a refund would be in our account up to 48 hours later. 7 days have passed and still no refund!

A Viewing Tower situated on Brighton beach overlooking the Sussex coastline.
I understand the contract sponsorship deal with British Airways will terminate in November 2022.

I have only given a 3 star review for this attraction for many reasons, lets put things into perspective, its an attraction, a viewing platform / tower which you find in fairgrounds or in major cities. This one is overly marketed as a flight onboard the i360.

I get the security system checks in place so as not to allow anything dangerous in the tower, but I cant get over the pretentious male and female staff members whom are dressed in British Airways cabin crew uniforms and acting as if you are on an actual flight. This is a sponsorship deal, it's a high viewing tower on a beach front.

I am frustrated simply because the staff appear to have taken their job literally, were is the smiles, were is the welcoming approach, the pleasantries , no its all serious as if you are boarding an actual flight and they all appear pretentious.

The cost is £17.50 for an adult, you are basically up on the top approximately 10 minutes, 5 minutes once inside the pod, 5 minutes going up and 5 minutes coming down so all in all 25 minutes for £17.50 per adult, is it worth it ?

Once inside, you will find a bar selling you extortionate priced drinks and snacks like £2.75 for a coke or £2.75 for a bag of crisp, not sure about the glass of prosecco but that wouldn't be cheap either.

In fairness, you get great views of Brighton and the Sussex coastline especially on a sunny day, you wont find anything similar, I would probably say do it for the experience but its something once you have done it you wont probably be doing it again. The glass reflection sometimes bounces your shadow back at you and ruins your photos which is annoying, maybe their is a way to stop this happening I dont know but its an average ride for an average score.

Hello sean-ellis-gee1234 and thank you for your review and feedback following your visit to the i360. I’m delighted that you enjoyed the views from 450 feet. The i360 is unique in its construction and engineering so I’m disappointed to hear that you felt it was similar to attractions found at fairgrounds and in other major cities – it certainly remains a one-off in its design that has yet to replicated anywhere else in the world. I am sorry to hear that our staff did not meet the high expectations that we expect from them. All our staff are fully trained to conduct themselves in a professional and above all friendly manner, so I am disappointed to hear they didn’t achieve this standard on your visit. We are frequently complimented on our how staff conduct themselves in reviews on Trip Advisor and on other platforms so please accept our apologies and reassurance that this would have been an ‘off day’ for us. I will ensure your feedback is given to our Guest Experience team. Regarding the price of our on-board drinks, we value the quality and sustainability of the products we offer on the pod is exceptionally important to us. Therefore, most of our drinks and snacks are locally produced in the South Downs region, as we love to support local business and reduce our carbon footprint. As a result, prices can be slightly higher than the average high street drink/snack, although we believe the quality reflects this. I should point out that the locally produced crisps are on sale at £2.00 rather than the £2.75 mentioned in your review. Once again, many thanks for your feedback. Jason.

I am attracted to tall structures like this, so we wandered down the seafront for a closer look. The next tour was due to start so I went in to book but unfortunately the tour closes quite a few minutes before the scheduled time. I booked and waited on the excellent boarded reception area.

I had timed the previous tour but that one was late coming back down, and our tour was much shorter as a result.

This is a superb feat of engineering - I recommend watching the construction video when you get back down - and you can barely tell that the platform is moving. The vews on the day I visited were good of Brighton, but the haze prevented long distance viewing.

I was going to buy a drink whilst in the air, but the prices are too high and so I passed on that. Reading other comments this is a familiar story - perhaps you need to look again at your pricing policy.

Overall a great experience.

My partner and I have blue light cards so a discount was available, but only for tickets bought at the box office. Once we arrived, the lady at the desk didn’t bother to ask what time we’d like, she just stuck us on the next ‘flight’ which happened to be in 5 minutes time. Off we queued for the entrance for the 6pm flight, only to be told in a very rude and disgusted manner, that we should’ve arrived 20 minutes ago. We explained that we’d just bought the tickets and she let us through for the checks and to queue, but she rolled her eyes as she did so. What was funny is she didn’t behave like this towards the people in front or behind us. Then again they were all white. The ‘lovely’ lady has dyed red hair, so be on the look out if you’re not white.

The experience itself was relatively nice, amazing views of Brighton. Definitely had far too many people inside, which may be a problem for those that are serious about social distancing, or if you want to get a decent look around the whole pod.

Overall, it’s something to do and a nice view, but I wouldn’t go again for a very long time, especially if there’s racist staff members.

I did email their customer service to let them know as well, but never heard anything back!

My friends and I decided to visit the British Airways i360 as the weather was nice and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Booking the tickets was easy online and Adam, the gentleman who checked our tickets, was friendly and made us feel welcome. We then had our photo's taken before going through security which is also where they checked our temperature. Everything was hassle-free. Social distancing was being adhered to and it didn't feel too crowded.

On the glass pod itself it did feel quite warm, but with the sun beaming down on glass it must create a greenhouse effect; we could feel the cold blasts of air conditioning when standing by the air vents though. You have to wear facemasks on the pod which probably makes it feel warmer, but can remove when you are actively drinking.

A lady called Dawn and a gentleman called Jack were working behind the bar, both were very friendly and efficient. We each bought a glass of the Nyetimber Sparkling Wine as we were celebrating some good news and found it to be very refreshing. Apparently it is better than Champagne!

The views were great and I was able to distinguish many landmarks across Brighton and further beyond. I'd love to experience the Sky Dining concept one day in the future.

I love a view from a great height, but I wasn't particularly enamoured with this experience.

Firstly, at £16.50 it’s quite expensive for seniors as there is no senior discount. I bought my ticket in person at the attraction and boarded the next ‘flight’.

Secondly, as a photographer I was looking forward to capturing some decent views of the city and coast on a brilliantly clear sunny day. However it was impossible to get decent shots as the glass of the capsule was so reflective. Nor was it possible to lean in to rest your camera on the glass to cut out the reflections.

Thirdly, there was a Covid temperature check to enter the boarding area, but that’s where any form of social distancing ended. Thankfully there were very few people on the attraction so a bit easier to maintain distancing (I visited in July when Covid safety was still paramount).

The attraction lasts about 25 minutes. You will get great views, despite glare and reflections. The capsule doesn’t revolve, just moved slowly up and down. It’s a curious modernist addition to was is essentially a traditional seaside landscape, and protrudes into the skyline like an ill conceived space needle.

I wanted to do it; I did it; but I wouldn’t do it again.

Arrived at 12.30 for a 1pm flight. Once the 12.30lm guests had entered the dome, they let us through. Tickets checked (not thoroughly though, no evidence asked for the young person tickets or the free carer ticket), professional photos taken, then bag checked (this was thorough which was reassuring to know), and pass through a metal detector. Once you’ve made it this far, there are toilets and a bar serving drinks and snacks. Plenty of seating (deck chairs, high stools) on a balcony overlooking the sea view.
When the dome returned down, guests were queuing up but there really was no point. The dome is huge and there is a lot of space to move around inside, so no hurry, we enjoyed sitting for a bit longer. Inside there is seating in the middle, another bar serving drinks and snacks and plenty of space to stand and enjoy the view. People tend to move around to take in all of the views. The flight is approx 25 mins long, with some time spent at the top. There’s free wifi if needed.
Once the dome returns to the ground, it actually goes lower down to let people out and into the gift shop. This is where they’ve got your professional photos ready and printed hoping you’ll buy it, which at £25 is pretty steep! But there’s no hard sale.
Overall a really worthwhile trip, got some lovely photos and really enjoyed the views from above. Would recommend.

Hello and thank you so much for your 5 star review and feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the experience. Regarding carer tickets, we operate "a non-challenge policy" so there is no requirement for our guests to provide any proof of a disability or special needs when they come to visit us. Your comment regarding the lack of any checks on a Young Person ticket has been shared with my line managers given that proof of ID is stated a requirement on our website when booking. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Jason.

Why is it called a flight, after all its just a slow ascent to the not even top of it's pole. Before being stationary for probably 15 minutes. Don't get me wrong the views are great & the area inside the pod is very spacious, with plenty of room to move around.
What I don't understand is the hype that this a 'flight', from having your items checked for metal items & having to walk through a metal detector yourself, is as if you are actually going to fly off somewhere rather being slowly propelled upwards & eventually back down again. No real excitement found, it is what it is. An expensive view from a higher than normal location. If you want a drink of wine, of course you have to pay for it, when it could quite easily be a privilege of taking part.

Managed to get tickets for sunset on the same day online. There is a 10% discount by booking online. The view from the capsule is great and the bar on board makes for a fun half hour. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The bar prices are quite steep but then probably you will only have one drink given the short ride. We went on a very windy day but you could not feel any bumps or sway. Certainly a highlight of our trip to Brighton.

Temperature checks occurred before boarding, masks were required to enter and the pod was cleaned between each trip. As COVID secure as it could be.
