- 2kwaldo0 contributionsGuide was greatI wasn't sure what to expect, but the tour was very informative and well organized. Jerry did a great job. I didn't expect to be crammed into a huge bus packed with people, and would have liked a smaller group. It amazing that the island allows the huge tour buses on the island given the narrow roads. The driver did an awesome job navigating obstacles. You see a limited amount due to the driving required, but I recommend it.Written 26 August 2024

- Helen B0 contributionsEnjoyable and relaxingEverything was on time and journey very relaxing. An Easter egg. Was a nice thought driver very good. Guide Andrew was very informative however one hour stop was not long enough at Godshill as no time to have lunch and see the village. Needless to say is fantastic for the views but very toristy and very expensive especially £9 for the chairWritten 1 April 2024

- CuriousFun0 contributionsHassle-free, fun day-trip from Brighton. This day trip from Brighton was perfectly timed, informative, and fun. We had enough time in both Greenwich and Cambridge to see the highlights. Optional punting was a great way to finish up. Our guide, Gerry, was knowledgeable, helpful, and super-flexible. Great experience on a very nice bus that was much easier than navigating public transport.Written 9 October 2023
- daniellevV9021SW0 contributionsLondon - 1 dayI had an incredible experience in London! I visited many famous and beautiful places. I really recommend this tour and the guide Laura! She is an incredible and attentive professional, she did everything to make the trip perfect, she even helped me with several other tips! I highly recommend it!Written 8 October 2023
- DebiBlick0 contributionsFull day, but worth it!This was an Anderson Tour that left London at 7:15am, arrived back at 8:30pm, and went to the Isle of Wight. It was a long day, but worth it to see Osborne House of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Also saw and ate lunch at Shanklin Beach. Another stop was the adorable village, Godshill village. Do see the miniature village set up. It’s actually pretty cool, especially the plantings that are kept to scale for the village. This tour includes the ferry ride over to the island where we saw 2 cruise ships pulling away on our way back. It’s a long day, bit a good one. Our driver was Brendan and he kept us amused and well informed.Written 21 September 2023
- chanphenp20230 contributionsBeautiful places and amazing guideCambridge and Greenwich are very beautiful places. Our guide Laura was amazing. She explained us all about the history of the places that we have visited, it was very interesting. It means she has really good knowledge. She took very good care of everyone. I asked her about the other nice places in UK, she could immediately recommend me and gave me more information, that was very helpful. Thank you so much Laura. You are amazing!Written 30 August 2023

I am an American on transfer at the University of Sussex, so I am not in the UK for vacation with very limited time to explore. However, I was pleased to find this weekend day tour to Stonehenge which is on my bucket list. Being able to visit Bath too was truly a bonus as this turned out to also be a must-see! The excursion was well organized, the guide Laura recommended we download the audio guide app to enjoy the visit to these awesome rocks which is worth doing. It was a shame the weather turned for the worst as my sneakers got pretty wet but the shop was well stocked with souvenirs including Stonehenge socks which saved me for the walking tour of Bath! The tour of the city was fun, Laura had a great sense of humor, telling us about a former famous Hollywood resident and how the streets were named, I loved hearing about Mary Shelley and Dickens and seeing famous film locations. She also pointed out great places to buy local candy and cozy pubs to have a typical roast. I managed to make it into the Abbey where they had a huge globe suspended in the centre of the church which was pretty awesome to see. I recommend this tour with Laura, it was especially convenient for me with the limited time I have!

The trip was excellent. I was part of a group on the coach and everyone was happy with the tour. The guide was knowledgable about Stonehenge and Bath, they recommended us places to eat in Bath and introduced us to the history of the city. It was an excellent day out in a comfortable coach.

PROS: Our guide Fabio was amazing, in addition to knowing very well both visited places he has excellent general knowledge about many other things, was a pleasure to talk to him. Also he was always there to answer everyone's question.
CONS: Time in Bath is very short, I wish we could have at least 1 more hour there. If you go to Roman Bath, you don't have time to do anything else. Besides that, would be better if we arrived 1h before in Bath, because as many cafes closes at 5pm, it was hard to find a place to eat after visiting Roman Bath.

The tour was very interesting and well organized. The tour guide, Fabio, was very friendly and caring. On a negative side, due to summer time and school break, we should have had a bit more of time to enjoy Stonehenge (half of the time spent queuing). Not much time left to see the exhibition, not mentioning lunch break. As for Bath, it was okay, however we were free to walk around the town at 4pm on Sunday, where not much left to see indoors as places are usually closing at 5pm. However, enough time to just enjoy a walk around.

Very good in all. excellent guide, both knowledgeable and passionate about the places visited. Coach clean and comfortable. Only negative is if you do the walking tour of bath and then book to see the Roman baths, there is no opportunity to get some proper food. Sandwiches at Stonehenge but another quick buy n eat in bath. Wonderful day at amazing sites, worth it.

Had a great visit to Stonehenge and Bath with beautiful weather. Manrico went out of his way to arrange a shuttle to Eastbourne to bring myself and a few others to the main bus rather than having to take an early morning train to Brighton, and to take us back in the evening. Gerry, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and clear about the itinerary so the day went smoothly. It is very apparent that he loves history, his job, and wants to give people great memories of their travels. It is a lot of ground to cover in one day so my only wish is that there was more time. The bus was clean and comfortable, and current government covid guidelines were reviewed and followed. I would not hesitate to take other Discovery Tours in the future.

I went on the Stonehenge and Bath tour last Sunday and it was a great experience!
The tour guide 'Laura' was very knowledgeable and friendly, she made sure all of us were enjoying our time and she shared amazing facts along the way! I love the fact that they recommended things for us to do on our individual time during the tour, for example, we were given the option to visit the Jane Austen centre in Bath and as a huge fan this a must do! I also met nice people on the trip which made it even more enjoyable. The director 'Manrico' was also very friendly and attentive to details making sure everything was going smooth. Definitely recommend!

Our trip to Stonehenge and Bath was a great experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable when speaking about and showing us the historic places we visited. Transfers to and from the sites were smooth and we were lucky that the sun was shining that day - Discovery Tours are highly recommended if you want to a witness these beautiful places!
