A fantastic shooting experience for me and my 2 friends as a birthday treat . from start to finish we were made welcome by all the staff , the surroundings were lovely and our experience was made even better by olly who not only helped us but made our experience fun , definitely will be returning , we loved it 👍 Thanks for taking the pics olly too x

Excellent 2 hour archery experience with Dave the instructor. We wanted to try something different and booked this up. It was excellent and friendly from the moment we arrived and were greeted in the car park, the mini bus ride up to the shooting ground and the welcome on site. Dave was a fantastic instructor, patient and helpful and with his guidance we definitely improved. Highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to try something a bit different and fun. Just to add Polowood was good value and a better price compared to many we researched.

A really special place in a stunning countryside setting. I have been twice with my two sons for air rifle shooting and archery. I was really impressed at the professional, yet relaxed, atmosphere. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and great with my autistic boys. My sons can't wait to return and I am very happy to support this business. Highly recommend.

The crew were very accommodating for our group (15) and took us through the necessary training/instructions for us to have a great time! Quite a few of us were first timers and came away thinking "we should definitely come back" and that "we'll be better next time". A great laugh and a lot of fun!

My friend and I had never experienced archery before, but after Gary's training, we felt confident that we would eventually hit the bullseye 🎯. ....and we did! From the booking to the event itself, all went like clockwork - we were given such a friendly welcome plus a free cup of tea (or coffee) 😁. If you've never tried archery before - this is a great venue to learn. Lots of other activities are available too e.g. axe throwing, clay pigeon, shooting range etc.

A great experience at the shoot, instructor was Xcllnt and all the staff were friendly and very welcoming, had a really good time and would recommend anyone to visit Polowood for a great day out.

Superb time! Staff were friendly, knowledgable - easy to book etc All in all allowed to have superb time while we enjoyed, competed, learned how to throw axe(s) and shoot arrows! And even had a nice competitive edge at the end Note we did combined archery & axe throwing for superb combo! Highly recommend

Myself and my Wife have been to Polowood on a few occasions over the years, and always had a good experience. The guidance given on how to handle to weapon, aim etc is top-notch and delivered in a personable, understandable way. My Wife loves the clay pigeon shooting! I was recently disappointed however, that Polowood was not able to exercise a little discretion when I bought my Wife a Birthday present of a £75 voucher back in December. My Wife's birthday is right at the beginning of January and naturally the weather was not conducive to go shooting and so we waited until it was, but given the state of our summer by the time we got to book, the voucher had just expired I asked for an extension but was only offered two dates, both weekdays in the morning, which we couldn't take given we both work (which is how I afforded the gift voucher in the first place) So my advice is, go to Polowood. It is brilliant and very professionally run, but don't buy a gift voucher in the winter and if you get one, be aware that they expire after six months I suppose, on the plus side, at least they saved on ammo. We're not particularly good shots! :-)

My brothers and I booked in for a 25 clay shoot. It was a wonderful venue, fabulous instructors, well priced. Highly recommend, will certainly be visiting again!

The staff was very personal and the surpervision. Directed and taught. Was very professional No danger. And just pure enjoyment. To learn in a beautiful. Hidden. Environment. The team is very respectful of the neighborhood Abd privacy. It’s a great experience Don’t ever. Stop this. It’s so rare

Had an hour of axe throwing today. Great day, Nathan was keen to teach us the safety of each range first, but then just let us get on with it. As well as the hatchets, he showed us how to throw knives, tomahawks and a great big battle axe, then went round helping the group improve our techniques. They also do shooting and archery, and we could have happily stayed longer if they hadn't been fully booked. At the end of our session, Nathan was a total legend and gave us a lift to the local pub in the minibus. Would heartily recommend this activity centre to those who want to blow off a little steam and have some good laughs.

Arranged a trip here for my little brothers 21st birthday, the guys were really nice and even dropped us at the pub after!

We had a fantastic time at Polowood Shooting Ground, we did an hour Air Rifle Shoot and our instructor was Jack who was friendly and explained things really well, he was great. Everyone was very welcoming and a beautiful location. Me and my husband got the highest score at the 'shoot out' at the end,beating our son which was quite satisfying! Thank you for a great time we all loved it 5 stars.
