A good game, don’t be restricted by where you do it.
The actual game was fine, we just chose to do it in the centre of Croydon (we live in South Croydon) and we don’t go into the centre much. It was horrible and we realised we weren’t enjoying it at all so stopped. It wasn’t the game’s fault, we might do it again somewhere nicer. We didn’t realise we could do it more or les anywhere which had buildings and people.

      Fun family time
A fun day. Lots of walking and seeing bits of a city I have been to many times. Good for the whole family. Some of clues a bit harder on a Sunday!

      Appalling Scam
Absolutely a rip off. Never got a message. Could not get through on any of the help numbers. In the end we gave up and just wandered the lovely city of Worcester ourselves. Do not part with any money for this scam!

Wouldn't recommend it, should be a description of what you're buying before you sign-up.
I did this in Southampton with just the two of us. There is an app that you download which presents a list of tasks which are worth points. The tasks were all non-location specific and just involve finding a generic item such as a brick building, street lamp, sign post etc then taking a photo/video of someone performing various actions by the item and uploading it to the app. The more tasks you do the the more points you get. The aim is to get more points than others currently playing the game. I booked for two people but you might as well just book for 1 as we could both read the app from one phone. We were disappointed that the treasure hunt was not specific to the city we were in and that the biggest challenge was posing in-front of various landmarks. It would probably be more fun with a large group but definitely not for just two people and would be much better if it were specific to the area. Maybe one for the instagram generation? It would help if there was a description of how the game was played before you sign up so you could decide if it's for you before paying for the tickets. I've heard good things about the Mystery Guides treasure hunt, available via the internet, which is city specific. Might give that a go instead.

      Awful. Don't bother.
This is the biggest con going. For £8 (EACH!) you get an app which tells you to take pictures doing something dumb outside random points in the city. But like, not specific points. It'll be something like "has red bricks and is tall" meaning 'building' but not one in particular, so you could just stand where you are and take the pic. The customer service is terrible too, and you don't need to pay for multiple tickets to play this game (if my review hasn't dissuaded you, please only buy one ticket: it'll be enough for your entire group). This was a terrible experience and I'd be giving it 0 stars if I could.

      God Bless Burton-On-Trent
I saw the name “burton-on-trent” on a carling glass and was overwhelmed with the sense of inspiration, home and belonging… I decided to visit this beautiful city on the “Operation City Quest Scavenger Hunt” GOD… I didn’t know what I was in for… Going on this incredible experience was thrilling, joyful and hilarious. These pictures of people on their hunt are perfect depictions of the joyous experience of this “Operation City Scavenger Hunt”. Me and my wives had an absolute blast before heading back to the filthy capital. God Bless Burton On Trent!
