A great morning of learning & fitness!
Such a great time. Fantastic knowledge of each place we stopped at! As someone who has lived in Canterbury for a number of years, it was a real eye opener! Thank you Andy!

      Great way to discover Canterbury
I was lucky enough to have a solo run with Andy. Weaving through the tiny streets of Canterbury, stopping at amazing pieces of history, running along the ancient walls with views over the Cathedral and surrounding hills. This is a really magical way to discover Canterbury (even if, like me, you’ve lived here for 3 years!). Thank you Andy!

Andy's tour was simply excellent. We ran at a really well judged pace that he adapted to my needs and with just the right number of pauses. The route took in all the main sights including the highlight of seeing the Cathedral grounds. But what made the tour a genuinely engaging experience was Andy's friendly tone and really broad historical expertise delivered with a light touch (QI rather than University Challege). From Beckett to medieval building techniques to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a really fun and informative morning.

I had a wonderful time running about the city with Andy. It was just the two of us, and it felt like my regular weekday run with friends. Except this friend just happened to know about every point of interest! The scenery was varied across our 10k, with pastoral and city mixed in as we went in and out of the main city center. In general, Canterbury is a great place to be a runner, and this tour showed off the best aspects. And I got a few restaurant recommendations along the way to boot!

Excellent tour with Andy and my dog. Andy bought the city and its history to life- with all sorts of facts, insights into how people lived, origins of words etc etc. Also good recommendations re the best cofee (Ginge and Fringe, by the way!), great brewery etc. Saw so much of the city- I know I wouldnt have seen half of it without Andy. Beautiful, fun and good exercise. THANKS

I can’t think of a better way to learn more about a city than this. Andy’s way of conveying his knowledge of the historical facts, mysteries, titbits, origins of some words, makes this a wonderful experience. Let alone that I enjoyed running in the parks, on the historical wall and by the river of Canterbury.

Loved this run. Getting up at 6am in the rain to run around the city seemed questionable at the time, but it was so worth it. Andy showed us some really astounding things and his passion for history (and running) really shone through. We were able to cover loads of landmarks, and because it was early we had them mostly to ourselves. If you're a runner, this has got to be the best way to tour the city.

Thank you for your review, and for braving the dark, wet morning to come running with us. I loved showing you and the kids around the city and am thrilled that it was worth the early start!

Joined a group of 14 with my 12 year old grandson, as part of special event for the Canterbury Festival.
Andy paced the group well with a “tail runner” to make sure we all made it easily to the many interesting sites. His expert knowledge of the historical sites brought the city to life, great experience, thanks

I absolutely loved the tour with Andy, and will definitely be booking in again!
When I met Andy he asked "so what do you know about Canterbury?" I replied with, "a fair bit" (being a local lad I'm there most weeks). Every thing Andy told me, I didn't know! I learnt so much about Canterbury and the route was stunning! There were so many hidden gems, and I was surprised by how much history is still visible and present in Canterbury. Whether you're a visitor to Canterbury, or a local yourself you really must book a tour. It was so enjoyable and I'll definitely be recommending everyone to go and book! Cheers Andy, top bloke!

I chose to do the 10k run with Andy which included some of the country side as well as the historical sites of Canterbury and I recommend it to anyone that likes a steady run, Andy's knowledge is immense with frequent stops to catch your breath and learn something of the area, it has been one of the highlights of my trip around the UK. Thanks Andy really enjoyed the morning with you. 😀

The tour was recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint! We really got to see the city and learnt so much all whilst moving our bodies out in the sun! Andy was friendly and relaxed and made sure we were all happy with the pace whilst spouting endless facts and stories about Canterbury. Thanks Andy!

Absolutely brilliant way to see Canterbury. My mind was buzzing afterwards with all the information I learnt but also with the bonus of a run. Andy was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. It was well worth the money and I didn’t notice the bad weather at all. Recommended
