Sam our guide was absolutely brilliant,engaging,knowledgeable,friendly and a true local.Giving us so much information and setting us up for our two days here.Would thoroughly recommend for an informative,pleasant,knowledgeable Canterbury experience.

There were just the two of us and we had a wonderful personal tour of Canterbury with a lovely young man. He was extremely knowledgeable and adjusted his pace to suit my husband, who cannot walk fast. It was an inspiring hour or so and highlighted some interesting places which we would not have found otherwise. Well worth the money.

We had the delight of going on the 90 minute tour with the wonderful Sam. Sam is a brilliant tour guide and is very passionate about Canterbury and it's history. His engagement with the children was excellent pitching the information just right and responding to their questions and surprising answers to his. Would definitely recommend if you want to find out more about this beautifully historic place.

We had an amazing experience exploring city of Canterbury with our tour guide Sam. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about history and this city. It’s great to do this tour early insure morning before tourist crowds fill the streets. It felt like we had it all to ourselves! We’ve seen lots of interesting places, buildings and have heard many stories related to this place. Some places we would never come across unless it would have been with this tour. We know so much more now and can’t wait to come back and explore in the future!

We can thoroughly recommend this tour, Jane was a guide with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the city of Canterbury’s history and the Cathedral, which she conveyed in an accessible and engaging way. Jane also gave a a good steer about where to have lunch.

My guide Sam was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Canterbury. I was shown parts I would never have known to look for and learned many things about the different stages of Canterbury's past Sam also pointed out some good places to eat whilst here.

The guide was a delight. Very informative and knowledgeable. He took us to some of the lesser known places as well as the more famous ones.

We spent 90 minutes wandering the streets of this amazing city with Sam who did an excellent job of improving our understanding of the history of Canterbury. Everyone visiting Canterbury should do one of these tours upon arrival! First off, Sam was brilliant. Lovely fella with a host of historic knowledge. This tour was actually part of a surprise birthday treat for me, but I am reliably informed that Sam was easy to deal with with regard to organising and correspondence. The trip itself was really interesting and gave me details on locations that I would have otherwise missed. It was a gentle walk and Sam answered any questions thrown at him. Highly recommend this to anyone who is either interested in history or just wants to learn a little of Canterbury as a one off. I was part of a party of four, visiting in early March 2023.

A brilliant tour led by Sam who engaged all members of our group with stories and anecdotes about Canterbury's vast history. We had a great tour looking at the various architectural features, the new and old parts of the city, hearing about 'Diamond Jim' and where the knights spent the evening before committing their murderous act in the cathedral. Sam also showed us parts of Canterbury that we would have never found by our own devices.
