I’ve been on 3 separate trips now with Neil and my two boys (aged 10 and 12). Each time we went, we had a fantastic time out, all of us hooking into Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach and Perch throughout the half days trips. Too many fish to count on each trip. Neil was an incredible coach to my two sons who were both complete novices. He showed them how to bait, hook, cast and catch. Everything they needed to maximize their day and catch as many fish as possible. Todays trip my youngest caught over 50 fish in 4 hrs! At the end of each trip he also gifted them with fishing gear so they can continue the sport and continue to learn. I’ve been on many guided fishing trips all over the World but Neil is right up there as one of the best and I couldn’t recommend him any higher. A true gentleman and a professional with lots of patience and guidance for the young ones along with more advanced methods for the older, more experienced fisherman. Will absolutely be returning for future fishing adventures with Neil. Absolutely worth the money if you want an enjoyable days fishing under the guidance of a real expert local to the area.

We had a fantastic introduction to fishing with Neil! Our sons (age 8 and 5) were really keen to learn how to fish and Neil was the perfect teacher. We spent 3 hours at a small tarn and caught lots of different fish much to the boys delight. Neil provided all the equipment and expertise and was patient, encouraging and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend him.

Due to the recent warm weather in the Lake District, Neil recommended that for the best fishing we should head to a local tarn for coarse fishing. We were looked after by Joe who is so knowledgable & experienced, he has a lovely calm manner & made it all so much fun. We were pretty much complete novices but came away with so much knowledge & now excited to start our own fishing adventures. Between the four of us we caught over 100 fish! We became confident handling the bait and unhooking the hooks from the fish mouths. We had been quite active during the week & this was the perfect activity to end our holiday on because it was calm & relaxing, the time flew by. We’d love to come again when we next visit the lakes, thanks for having us Joe, tight lines! 🎣

Me and my Dad went on a guided fishing trip with Neil and it was amazing. He clearly had a passion for fishing outside of work and was very helpful. We were taught how to cast, what to look out for and other tricks of the trade, (allowing us to catch 4 reasonably sizes Pike!). All in all it was a great experience and both of us would recommend!
