Overview
With so much to see and do in Liverpool it can be hard to make the most of the city’s unique views and fascinating history, so if you’re in the mood to discover some of the best sights in the world, why not combine a fantastic 50 minute River Explorer Cruise with a fabulous Open Top Bus Tour and venture to the heights of the tower at the Anglican Liverpool Cathedral - the best views of the city guaranteed!
Highlights
  • See top Liverpool spots with ease by cruise and hop-on hop-off bus tour
  • Learn more about the city’s music and maritime history via commentary
  • Entrance to Liverpool Cathedral and U-boat Story included
  • Enjoy the freedom to explore Liverpool at your own pace
What to Expect
Make your way to Pier Head on River Mersey 15 minutes before the cruise departure of your choice, and board your sightseeing boat. Enjoy views over Liverpool’s UNESCO–listed waterfront. Gaze at attractions including Royal Liver Building, and learn more about Liverpool’s maritime and musical heritage from on-board commentary.

Back at Pier Head, take a seat aboard a hop-on hop-off bus and see top attractions such as Albert Dock, the Cavern Club—where the Beatles used to play—and Walker Art Gallery, with on-board commentary. Busses depart every 30 minutes, and your 24-hour pass allows you to get off and on at your leisure.

Perhaps disembark at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral and take the lifts and stairs to the tower for panoramic city views. Other stops include Cains Brewery and Chinatown.

Your cruise ticket also includes entry to the U-boat Story, a German U-boat in which Liverpool’s World War II history comes to life.
