    Spooky fun
A chillingly fun tour! Our spooky knowledgeable guide (Indiana Bones) was brilliantly engaging and kept us all in line whilst theatrically regaling us with historical and macabre tales of the city. Thanks

Awesome glimpse into Liverpool’s dark side
Delightfully macabre walking tour of some of Liverpool’s most chilling areas. Indiana Bones and Chiller Black were outstanding guides, keeping us all riveted with their tales and laughing with their dark humor. Would highly recommended this tour to anyone who enjoys the paranormal. Great way to learn about some of Liverpool’s history! Well done!

Spooky, funny a great way to hear about Hope Street and the two Cathedrals!
Booked this tour (1/4/24) on the recommendation of a friend who had also booked but not yet been on the experience. Met by guides in striking gothic costumes with big personalities to match the mood of the tour. Spooky stories told with dramatic licence and memorable way this is brilliant for adults snd children alike. Works well at this time of year as you start of in daylight but as the tour and scare factor increase so does the darkness! Both guides were brilliant their enthusiasm, charisma and ability to hold the groups attention made for a very enjoyable tour! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting something a little different to do in an evening 🙂 👻😱

    Amazing Walking Tour of Liverpool
I saw this advertised in the Hostel and was so glad I did. I did the Hope street Shivers and it was just so much fun! Chiller Black and Indiana Bones were incredible, I would say born for the roles but more likely spawned for the roles. Really knowledgeable but the whole script was just fantastic. I cannot state enough how good they were, the costumes, the stories, the comedy. It did not leave a lot of room for heckling as they didn't pause too long between sentences, but probably for the best. I have done a lot of tours in a lot of cities and this was defo one to remember and would 100% do the other two tours if they were the guides for them both. It was an hour and a half tour but did not feel that long. Highly recommended if for anything, just getting to spend time with the two nutters someone decided was a good idea to allow members of the public to follow blindly, but I am so glad they did!

    Phantasmagorical experience
A truly entertaining, atmospheric and actually educational tour of the dark heart of Liverpool. Based on true historical places and events but lent a chilling twist by the dramatic talents of Chiller Black and Indiana Bones, I thoroughly recommend these tours to tourists and residents alike. Book it, you won't regret it ..... or will you? *maniacal laughter fades*

Spooky, fun and even a little scary! Best ghost tour I’ve ever been on
Fantastic tour, great actors who are really skilled at dealing with a group of different ages and levels of interest. The tour itself was spooky, fun, and at times a little scary… in other words: perfect!! Highly recommend best ghost walking tour I’ve ever been on!

    Hilarious and informative fun!
I went on Thursday March 7th. It was absolutely brilliant! Our two ghostly tour guides were hilarious and informative. I was visiting Liverpool on my own and it was the coolest way to see the city at night. I want to bring my husband and kids next time - they would die laughing!

Absolutely fabulous. The tour guides were very knowledgable and made the whole experience very spooky and unnerving with a good shot of humour thrown in.

Went on the Deadhouse tour after previously attending the Hope St tour. For £15 a ticket you'll find it hard to get a better hour and a half of entertainment. Informative, spooky and hilariously delivered by Chilla Black and Meryl Creep.

My girlfriend and I loved this tour and both wish she'd be in the UK long enough to do another, definitely on the list for next time!

The guides were brilliant in delivery, handled hecklers with brilliant sarcastic finesse, also happy when they took a second to quiet the group again, helps to keep the atmosphere up when there isn't too much chatting during a tale.

My girlfriend loved the energy and passion of the actors, as an artistic person herself it gets her hyped the most to see passionate people displaying their craft.

Absolutely brilliant way to get an indulgence of liverpool culture and character along with the history!

Funny, interesting and macabre enough to be spooky without being too scary for my nine year old. The guide was fantastic and I loved her Victoriana costume and dark humour. It is fantastic to be out in the city at night with children and feel perfectly safe whilst seeing the city in a new light. The interaction from passers by add to the experience, along with the guide's ad libs. We'll defo go on another.

We’ve just got back from the Auld City & Dead House walk. It was so good! The guides were amazing, they really made the show x I took 5 kids aged 11-13yrs for my daughters 13th birthday and they all loved it. We laughed so much. They were scared but felt included, it wasn’t too much to go over their heads. There were a couple of drunken, public nuisances (it was a Saturday evening!) but I was glad to see that you had a security guard, who I hadn’t noticed at first so he was a welcome figure, especially with the kids and he sorted them out straight away. I couldn’t recommend it enough and will definitely be back. The lady was amazing! So theatrical, quick witted and very funny! Thanks again for such a good night x

The tour guides were very entertaining and knowledgeable about the Hidden history and the spooky side of this city! Lots of fun and chills along the way. This is my second tour and have booked for my third!! Highly recommend. You only need comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water. Warm clothing if booking in cooler month’s. Great for local people or an interesting tour if you are visiting the city!! Enjoy……..

We booked the Dead House tour and were not disappointed. The three actors and of course saucy Scott we're all great. We had a fantastic night, it was nice to try something different and learn something new about the streets we walk down all the time!

The guides were amazing and had us interested, spooked and laughing along the way. It was a busy Saturday night in town and the guides still made sure we could see and hear everything and kept in character throughout.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and look forward to booking the other tours Shiverpool have to offer. Thank you!
