Fab tour of the Fab Four.
Took the ferry across the Mersey. The Fab Four Taxi was waiting outside our hotel at the designated time. Our driver Geoff was very informative. We saw the homes they all grew up in Elenor Rigby’s grave Strawberry Fields Pennylane and lots more. If you’re in Liverpool this tour is a must.

      The best Beatles Tour
I really wanted a private and personalized Beatles tour and this was it. Moxy and John gave us the best tour and experience in Liverpool. They didn’t let the rain stop them from sharing stories and photos. I highly recommend doing this tour if in Liverpool. We love the Beatles and it was a truly memorable day.

      Beatles day!
My husband has been a Beatles fan since he was 8 ( he's 67!) and this tour was the only thing on list for our trip. It lived up to his expectations which is saying a lot lol. Moty, our guide was wonderful. It was a great day! At the end of the tour he even asked if there was anything he missed that my husband still.wanted to see and made it happen. Best part was it wqlas just us on the tour. I highly recomend this tour and Moty!

      Thks Peter!
Peter was a truly spectacular tour guide! He made our trip more than special, he knows absolutely everything about the history of the Beatles, even from the early years. Pete made our family trip better than expected, my kids and I really enjoyed our time with him.

The Beatles Experience of a Lifetime
To say this was a bucket list tour would not be an exaggeration. When I learned I’d have just a day to spend in Liverpool this November while on vacation in the UK, I knew I wanted try to see everything possible to do with the origins of my favorite band. I knew realistically it was a tall ask and that I probably could never actually experience “everything” Beatles in just one day (I’d love to return to Liverpool some day—it is a fantastic city), but Fab 4 Taxi Tours came as close to making that dream a reality than I ever could have imagined. In September 2023, I contacted Fab 4 Taxi Tours hoping they could help me put together my ideal tour. I had done my research and chose some must-do Beatles sites and also browsed the Fab 4 Taxi Tours website to see what tours they offered. When I emailed, Anne answered my inquiry within a day with some suggestions on how Fab 4 could build my tour. Within a week of correspondence, Anne had put together a perfect day-long itinerary tailored exactly to my requests that included the National Trust tour to John and Paul’s childhood homes, the exhibition at Strawberry Field, and SO much more that is included on the Classic Beatles and Early Years tours. Anne booked our tickets for the exhibition and the Cavern Club, added the tickets I had already purchased with the National Trust to our itinerary, and took our arrival and departure details to make sure we made the best out of our Beatles tour in Liverpool. I cannot say enough great things about how smooth this process was. Anne was a pleasure to work with. After that, we just had to await our tour on Friday, November 10. My mother and I arrived early in the morning at the train station, where our guide and driver, John Joyce, picked us up for a 9-hour tour of Beatles sites. The entire day was full of interesting info, amazing sites, and excellent Beatles music. We started with the Beatles early years (like the maternity ward where John Lennon was born) and then John J. dropped us at our childhood homes tour with the National Trust. At the end of the National Trust Tour, he was there ready to take us on the next segment of the classic Beatles tour including the church where John and Paul met, George’s childhood home, and Eleanor Rigby’s grave. We finished this segment of the tour with the Strawberry Field exhibition. (It was such a great exhibit. Highly recommended. Seeing the piano where John Lennon wrote “Imagine” was a highlight.) After Strawberry Field we saw Penny Lane, Ringo’s childhood home, and the wonderful Beatles statue at the docks. We rounded out the evening at the Cavern Club for a visit before our train back. Overall, it was an outstanding day full of so many surreal and wonderful Beatles moments that it's difficult to pick a favorite, but one standout that had a particular impact on me was seeing all of the sites referenced in 'Penny Lane' and hearing the stories that went along with them—each spot directly referenced in the song. Now when I listen to it, I feel so lucky to have actually seen the real life places and heard the real life stories made legendary by the song. We heard great facts like this throughout the day from John J. He definitely knows The Beatles. My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing all of the information he had to share. He even took the time to take us back to John Lennon’s childhood home to tell us even more about Lennon’s early life there and to take a few more photos. He undoubtedly went above and beyond for us the entire day in order to provide the best, most informative, and fun tour possible. We’d ask for John J. on another tour in a heartbeat. Not only did he provide tons of great Beatles information, but he also kept us on schedule with such a busy day, and even offered to take pictures of my mom and I together at all the sites. We just hope we didn’t drive him too crazy over nine hours! 😆 It was a long day to be sure, but never did we feel rushed. We got to absorb every site and every moment. We are so thankful to him for sharing his Beatles expertise and for taking us on a Beatles trip of a lifetime. We are still talking about that tour TODAY (three weeks later!), and I imagine we will for years to come. We really couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better experience. There are certainly various ways to see The Beatles sites around Liverpool, but trust me when I say, you won’t find a more personalized or in-depth Beatles experience than with Fab 4 Taxi Tours. They are super kind, super professional, and they KNOW their stuff. If you love The Beatles, this is THE way to experience the amazing place that shared them with the world. Thanks Anne, John J., and Fab 4! We had the best time!

      A day in the life
Outstanding, an honour to be stood where they stood. The bus driver (Andrew) was brilliant from the start and the guides in the houses excellent especially John at Lennons old house. I didn’t particularly fancy that one looking forward to Paul’s old house but Johns knowledge and delivery made it the highlight. Recommended

      Excellent Private Tour
Had a wonderful black cab tour of Beatles related spots with our guide Paul. He took us to the homes/birthplaces of all the Beatles along with historic places and even places that inspired the most popular of their songs. Paul tailored the tour to our time constraints and requests. We enjoyed the intimacy of the Black Car Tour versus a crowded bus tour (we’ve done both). We recommend FAB 4 Taxi Tours to anyone who is coming to Liverpool to see places important in the history of The Beatles.

Fab Four Taxi Tour with Eddy
Was totally a a dream come true for my husband ... a complete Beatles fanatic. Eddy was a fabulous host. This was the perfect way for us to experience Liverpool. It was very personal, very easy to ask questions and learn about both the Beatles and the beautiful city. Total highlight was running into Colin Hanton (totally unplanned!) on Penny Lane. For my husband, a drummer, to talk to Colin? No words. :) I can't recommend this tour enough. Even as a moderate fan ... it was so fun and a great way to see beautiful Liverpool.

      Fantastic 3 hour Beatles tour
Did the 3 hour Beatles tour this afternoon. Our driver was Jay and he was fantastic, really friendly and knowledgeable. Thought I knew quite a bit about The Beatles but Jay had some great new stories for us. Saw the childhood homes, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields and the place John and Paul 1st met. Highly recommended.

      Absolutely wonderful tour!
This was one of the best tours I have ever taken! My guide Dave really was interested in what I wanted to see and he made sure I saw it all. He knew a lot about Liverpool and all the historic sites we went to. He was so polite and kind too. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Liverpool.

      Fantastic experience
We were recommended to go with a Beatles taxi experience rather than a bus tour and we were not disappointed. Along with the cheeky Scouse banter, Alan shared his knowledge of the local areas amongst the history of The Beatles journey and interesting facts along the way. We were able to get out at every place to hear about the significance and relevance of each place, many which were mentioned in songs that The Beatles wrote. We only wish that we had more time as three hours flew by. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Alan 🙏

So much detail, great fun and extremely good value for money. Very highly recommended.
Fantastic tour, superb driver/guide with unmatched Beatles knowledge. Best possible value for money tour. My brother and me were collected from our hotel at 09:00, Pete our driver and guide made us instantly comfortable. I have what I always thought was a good knowledge of the Beatles, buy it was almost nothing compared with Pete's. He shared his wonderful knowledge with anecdotes and great humour. The places we visited would only be accessible by smaller vehicles and were certainly unexpected gems. I'd recommend Fab4 taxi tours for anyone, especially those fanatics like myself.

This is the third time we have experienced this particular tour over the last 7 years. In that time the price has doubled, but it is still a great three hours well spent mainly because it is such a unique, intimate and interesting experience.
The key to it is the interest , knowledge and friendliness of the drivers.
Our driver for the day was John J .
It was obvious that he loves and takes great pride in his job. You could tell that he has read up on the subject of the Beatles and has kept abreast of any developments over the years. He clearly loves his subject!
John was knowledgeable, friendly, considerate and approachable and he took the trouble to know our names.
Even though we have completed the trip before ,we still learnt something more about the Beatles and the City.
In addition, John himself was keen to listen and picked up on some of our own knowledge and anecdotes (with three out of the four of us being from Liverpool) .
The trip went on over time as we all enjoyed ourselves- and John was happy to give up his own time to be with us. It was almost like being with a friend on a day out!
    Thanks!

As a dedicated Beatles fan for years I’ve read many books and watched many films about them. As a result my expectations for this tour and the tour guide were probably unreasonably high but John J (our tour guide) greatly exceeded my expectations! The comfortable and clean taxi showed up exactly on time and from the first minute our guide showed his expertise on the subject of the Beatles and his skill at weaving a compelling story. He carefully selected each stop so the story built as the tour progressed and we were taken back in time to the beginnings of the Beatles. I strongly recommend this tour to any Beatles fan and especially recommend John our tour guide.

We had a private 3 hour guided taxi tour with Steve ( lovely Rita car ) , it was more like 4hrs with his great customer service, attention to detail and his knowledge was second to none.
He was more concerned with us enjoying ourselves rather than clock watching.
Really friendly chap who would accommodate any requests we had , he even played quizzes throughout the tour and went into real detail about the lyrics of the songs and there meaning to the Fab Four.
This really is a fantastic tour for any Beatles fan and I can’t recommend this highly enough!!!

We came up to Liverpool for a Beatles weekend and were not disappointed. Jay our driver/tour guide was brilliant. Not only did he take us around all the Beatles hotspots with some great stories, he also gave us some really interesting facts about other landmarks and places of interest in the city. This tour really made our trip, would recommend to any one. Cheers Jay, Claire & Joe

We had a really great time with Jay on our Beatles tour. He gave us the background stories for each of the places we visited. It brought to life many of the Beatles songs we knew so well ...Penny Lane, Strawberry Field among many. In between stops we listened to the music, which brought back happy memories! Other local landmarks were also included in our tour, and Jay expertly explained the history of each building or place.
We loved his sense of humour, too!! We would highly recommend both him and the tour.

This 3 hour private black cab tour was outstanding. If you can request a specific driver, definitely ask for Eddie C and his cab named Penny Lane. He went out of his way to make the experience amazing, learning all our names, taking all our photos from the best angles, and answering all our questions. He even gave us a cd that had a recording about the first time John and Paul met after we learned about it. Eddie had so many personal touches to his tour and you seriously can’t do better than him. Thanks Eddie!!

We booked the 3 hour Beatles tour for our son's 18th birthday and all had a fantastic time! Robbie, our driver, had so many stories to tell us and really made sure we had a great day! We visited the childhood homes of the Beatles, as well as a range of other significant places in their journey, with plenty time for photographs and stories at all of the places.

Three hours was just about perfect - we weren't rushed, and we managed to fit in all of the important places on the journey. Robbie also pointed out other interesting local places and shared other stories about the city, although the main focus throughout was of course the fab four!

I thought the tour was excellent value for money for four of us, and the taxi was spacious and comfortable for the duration. I would definitely recommend - a much more personal experience than a similar bus tour. Thank you Robbie for such a fabulous day!

Practical-wise, pick up and drop off can be anywhere central, and then there is the option to stop to grab drinks/snacks, and for toilet breaks, all along the way, so not taking away from the time on the tour. Really good, tailored to your individual needs.

Fantastic tour by our tour guide Steve. You could hear the enthusiasm of Steve in his voice as he explained all the sites we visited, it was clear that he was a big Beatles fan. The sites we seen we wouldn’t have known about if we didn’t go on this tour as there were no plaques in the areas for example George Harrison’s house or Ringo starr’s house. We were expected to go on a three hour tour but it lasted four hours which was fantastic value for money. We were picked up at the train station after arriving and then dropped off at the hotel following the tour. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour, we would definitely recommend. If you manage to get Steve to do this tour then you will not be disappointed.
