About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Q5879EHrichards0 contributionsAn afternoon to treasureThe passion that Nasher has for his home city is evident, and it comes across in his tour of iconic music venues. The tour was very informative and relaxed, and offered me the chance to chat and get pictures with one of my teenage music idols. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this tour. Superb value for money.Written 4 November 2024
- V4080AWdavido0 contributionsA top tour with a top guyThis tour is something a little different to the usual. Where in the world can you walk around a city with a member of an iconic band and learn not only about Frankie but much more about the musical history of the City? Nasher is so accessible and has plenty of time to chat to everyone on the tour. He has a little story to tell on every corner of the city, and you will learn loads about Frankie, The Beatles and much more, all told in a natural, humorous way. We had such a great laugh with him and all the great people on the tour. He buys you a pint in The Bridewell pub where Frankie was formed, happily signs whatever memorabilia you may have brought, and continues the stories prompted by whatever question you may have. I took my 12-year-old, who knows a bit about Frankie and The Beatles, but he was fascinated by Nasher and his tales. We genuinely would recommend this tour to anyone who loves their music and the city of Liverpool. Even the slightest Frankie, Beatles or music fan will love this.Written 31 October 2024

- yvonnew3130 contributionsWalk, talk & a pint with NasherWhat an amazing experience! Brian was knowledgeable, funny & engaging. Basically it was like going out for a good walk with an old mate, lots of great stories.. relaxed pint in his local. Thoroughly recommended.Written 27 October 2024
- shazzleb0 contributionsExcellent!I booked this for my husbands birthday, we travelled from Birmingham. Keith was such a great host. Friendly and so passionate about his city. I loved how he told us so much about the history of the bands there which we love. The Bunnymen, Pete Wylie, Cast, The Zutons and many more. Loved to see where they rehearsed in The Farm, and many other bands. He showed us pictures too of how things were, it was really personal too and we both got to ask him questions about the bands. Thank you so much Keith it was such a good experience and would so much love to do it again with the other hosts. Keep up the great work for Liverpool, so much needed 👏Written 20 October 2024
- julietb9680 contributionsBest moment of my lifeWe had the best time ever! Nasher went above and beyond to make our tour so memorable. He was so open and let us ask as many questions as we wanted. Totally charming. It was great to walk around listening to him! I was so excited to meet Nasher and he was absolutely lovely with us! Thankyou so very much for your patience and kindness and for making my dream come true! Very funny too! I absolutely recommend this tour.Written 29 September 2024
- johnbS4111MN0 contributionsMeeting A HeroI was obviously aware of Frankie Goes To Hollywood and my wife was, in her formative years, in love with Brian Nasher Nash, the band’s lead guitarist. Nasher turned up bang on time where he told us to meet and proceeded to welcome us all warmly. I don’t know what I expected, but he well exceeded whatever hopes we had. He was warm, genuine and very friendly. The tour was fascinating and his depth of knowledge incredible. Although the Beatles obviously featured, they weren’t the only ones covered. Nasher took us to various landmarks that you would ordinarily stroll past without a thought. One of them was the now bin store for a fast food outlet. Back in the day, it was an underground music venue, graced by musical giants such as David Bowie. The door is all that remains, the venue filled in and forgotten. Afterwards, Nasher took us to one of his locals and stayed chatting and signing things for a good couple of hours. He was so kind, looking through my wife’s photos from her trip to a Frankie gig in the 80s and chatting away with us. If you ever get the chance to meet this legend and go on his tour, you will NOT be disappointed. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone and would love to go again. Thank you, Nasher! Loved every single second of being in your company.Written 29 September 2024
- M9604ZKdavem0 contributionsFun and InformativeI couldn’t be more pleased with this tour. Our guide, Stephen was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about this tour. He showed us all the places that popped up in the songs the Beatles wrote. The communication from the headquarter staff was also excellent. We came in in a cruise ship, and there were a few details that needed to be sorted out. They were on top of it and gave us a feeling that they were going to care about our experience and there would be no missed details. Skip the cruise tour and go with these folks.Written 9 September 2024
- mirandalacef0 contributionsLoved it!What a brilliant afternoon! Me and my sister travelled from Blackpool needing to get 4 trains (due to tree on the line) made it just in time and I am so glad we did! Nasher was a fantastic guide and so passionate about the music and his city. Literally stood there in silence (which is not like me!) as I listened to his stories. He was funny, entertaining and very open about his experiences. Hoping to bring my husband next time as he would love this. Thanks again for a great afternoon.Written 25 August 2024

- HolidayBlahBlahBlah0 contributionsA Great Afternoon Being Hosted Around Liverpool's Musical History by The Farm's Peter HootonRecommended! Myself & a friend attended the Liverpool Musical Icon's Tour with the Farm's Peter Hooton and what an excellent experience it was. I have to admit to already being something of a fan of Peter's prior to attending the tour, for many reasons: His 'originator' status when it comes to the birth of terrace-fashion, his involvement in the 70's/80's/90's Liverpool fanzine & music-scene, his impeccable musical-tastes and of course, the success he had as part of the Farm ......... all this (and plenty more) is touched-on during the tour. No Liverpool music tour would be possible without some Beatles content & Peter did touch on the Fab-4, but this is absolutely NOT a Beatles-centric tour ........ it is far, far wider than that. We found ourselves winding a route around the city at a reasonable pace (finding time for a mid-tour pint), touching on general history of the city, significant architectural touch-stones & of course, primarily, the rich musical history across multiple decades & genres...... all delivered with Peter's insightfulness & sense of humour. The tour concluded with the group having time for another beverage with Peter which gave the opportunity to chat in further detail on things that maybe weren't covered on the tour, but which they had a specific interest in. Peter was a great host & spent quite a bit of time with this and autographs/photo's, etc. The consensus across all the group was a great afternoon had by all.Written 10 June 2024
- nigelb1900 contributionsBest £60 I’ve ever spent!!I cannot recommend this tour enough. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon in the company of Peter Hooton. Peter’s knowledge of all eras of the Liverpool music scene is unparalleled and this is evident throughout the tour. A stop off for a beer during the tour and one at the end of the tour was the icing on the cake. Some fabulous chat about football and music throughout the day from one of music’s most genial figures.Written 9 June 2024
- dwad1120 contributionsAn enjoyable afternoonA fantastic afternoon in the excellent company of Peter Hooton. The walk around Liverpool was informative, enlightening & humourous. Peter's stories & knowledge of the local area & the range of musicians, artists & venues covered was both extensive & impressive. Calling in to a couple of pubs during the walk is also a great chance to chat with Peter, ask questions & get to know the other people taking part in the walk. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.Written 9 June 2024
- bjelshout0 contributionsLiverpool Off the Beaten TrackI had a wonderful Music Icons Tour on May 18th 2024, led by former Frankie goes to Hollywood guitarist Brian 'Nasher' Nash. As a musician and 100% Liverpudlian, Brian was able to entertain a party of 12 and tell them very insightful stories about Liverpool and its musical history, which went beyond just The Beatles. Besides that I had the opportunity to meet one of my 80s musical heroes. I highly recommend this tour, as Liverpool and its musical heritage has infintely much to offer, and Nasher is just a very cool and friendly guy :)Written 20 May 2024
- mrlewis20140 contributionsNasher does LiverpoolAbsolutely fantastic insight into the 80s music scene in Liverpool. Nasher was a fantastic host with a wealth of knowledge and personal experiences. I would highly recommend this icon tour to anyone that would love to delve deeper into the early music scene and the places frequented by the stars. And the icing on the cake was having a beer or two with the man himself and listening to all his Frankie stories. Keep up the excellent work Nasher, from Paul Hollywood & Lisa the L31 club !Written 19 May 2024

A lovely walking tour. The guide knew everything Beatles (even played Beatles music as we walked), and we learned a lot. Learned other things about Liverpool as well. She was very kind answering our questions and pointing out little things we might have missed. She also guided us back to the dock where the Beatles Experience is, and found us a nice cafe for lunch.

Our walking tour guide was Julie. She was soo friendly, and very knowledgeable. I had never been to Liverpool before and as Julie guided us around parts and places I would never be aware of, I learned a lot not only about the Beatles but Liverpool too.

There was some confusion and a replacement guide had to be sent 1.5 hours later than originally scheduled. However the new guide Gary Friday ( On a Saturday) was excellent. The tour was very interesting and covered far more than just the history of the Beatles.

Company failed to ensure that a guide turned up, and had to send a replacement once we alerted them to this, so the tour started 1.5 hours. Very interesting tour with a very good guide, but there isn't much Beatles in this tour, in spite of the name. It's much more of a general Liverpool city centre tour.

A great tour by a great guy.
Eddie was knowledgeable about the city and the band.
We’re local to the area but he pointed out things we’d never noticed and he also shared some great Beatles history that I was unaware of. (And I thought I knew everything)!
Eddie was polite and very well spoken, it felt like we were on a tour with a friend. You can tell he loves his work and the Beatles.
He went above and beyond and we had a really great time.
I would recommend this tour to all.
Thanks Eddie!

Eddy was a very knowledgeable guide who had great anecdotes and stories about all the famous Beatles spots around town. He was enthousiastic and you could really get a sense of his love for the Fab Four. Plus, he takes really great photos! Highly recommend.
