We met John for our tour. His knowledge, love and enthusiasm was outstanding. Probably one of the best tours I have ever been on. Thoroughly recommend. I learnt so much about my city. Loved it. 5 star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent from start to finish. John our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and quite funny at times.

We've visited Liverpool so many times but never done a guided tour before. We learned so much about the city we love (our favourite city in the UK).

It lasted almost 2 hours and the time flew. We could have carried on.

Really good pace.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ..... as you can see by all the positive reviews.

Definitely a must do experience if you’re around Liverpool for a few days. The history and the knowledge are super fundamental to understand the background of this city. John is super available to answer questions, plus he gave us awesome tips (what to visit, what to eat, what places to go next). It sets a mood for the rest of the trip and you won’t look at the city the same way. It made my short trip to Liverpool really worth it. Would 100% recommend.

This is a great historical walking tour. Reading some of the old rewievs my expectations were high and they were still exceeded. John was our guide and his knowledge of the city's history is incredible. He speaks in a good place and he's easy to understand even when English is your second language. I now know so much about the history of Liverpool I had no idea about before the tour. And the history of the city was very interesting and feels like it's quite unique. It's seems like John knows everything about the history of the city and he could answer all our questions we had. I was very satisfied with the tour.

We loved this walking tour through Liverpool's history. The weather was kind and the walk was gentle. Our guide, John, was absolutely brilliant. He clearly has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of his city and his enthusiasm was evident. He managed to cover a thousand years in two hours. He also recommended other places and sights to see around the city. I couldn't recommend this tour highly enough. Thank you John!

The guide was very informative and helped us see Liverpool from the perspective of the wet docks bringing in the trade:
That this trade was the life blood of Liverpool:
The demise of shipping and the transformation of the docks the new Liverpool could have been talked about more
