First important thing to know to save a lot of money, avoid organized bus tours that drop you off and pick you up in front of HP studios.
It costs MUCH more, you will only have 3 hours for the visit of which you have to deduct the waits in the lines and the introduction imposed in the first 3 rooms, possibly a break to taste beer and butter ice cream and the 7 lines for those who want to show the HP passport.
We spent 7 hours in the studios and haven't seen everything yet.
Once the first 3 imposed theatres (waiting room, producer presentation room and cinema room) have passed, access to the other theatres is free and unlimited until closing time (22:00).
Better take the Euston train to Watsford Station and then the shuttle bus waiting for you at the station exit (free if you booked your HP tickets online). Platform 4 on arrival and at the arrival platform at the studios for return.
A little anxious for the train and the shuttle, everything went as on rails (it is the case to say).
However, be careful not to leave just before closing because the queue for shuttles will be very long.
You will have to choose a time of arrival when ordering tickets to the Harry Potter London site, but we were 3 hours earlier and could get in right away. Be careful, if there is a large crowd during the school holidays, you can only enter an hour early.
I also advise you to take as an option the guide (very informative and beautiful quality) and the green screen video for broom flying.
On the other hand, we had reserved headphones but abandoned them in the third room because there is so much to do and see that it is difficult to use them properly (walk/pause/details explanations/games...).
Beer and butter ice cream in the mid-term restaurant are excellent and worth the experience.
The price in restaurants and shops are correct. We bought a magic wand for £32 while in the city of London they sell them for £55.
The restaurant at the end of the large entrance hall is also of good quality and the quality of the food quite correct.
Put on good walking shoes and remember to charge your mobile phones and cameras thoroughly. If possible, plan additional batteries because there is a lot to photograph.

Since the tickets were sold out on Harry Potter’s World website, we chose a package tour with transfers via hellotickets and premium tours. Properly overcharged! So if you are out in good time, you save a lot on booking directly on warner bros website for the entrance to the studio.
In the booking it was not clear which times were valid, so I had to email in and ask when we were back.
The buses were ok but lacked Wi-Fi and charging sockets.
We were half an hour late from Victoria coach station in the morning because at first not all passengers arrived on time, then the bus driver had an angry conversation with a colleague for 15 minutes. Very strange.
But the visit inside the studio went like clockwork and was amazingly well done. We were there around Halloween and then they had a ”dark art” theme which was very effective.
Maybe not suitable for the smallest children. Both that it is a bit scary but also because you are not allowed to play or touch the built-up scenes. (You have to try a little bit, but most of it you should really just look at). Bigger kids and teenagers probably have the most profit from the studio. And you have to have seen the movies or read the books to appreciate it!

Absolutely fantastic experience and a great way to spend the afternoon. My partner is an avid Harry Potter fan and he really wanted to go. I am not as much but i did enjoy the movies. I wasn't expecting much to be honest as I am not an avid fan but I was very pleasantly surprised.
Lots to see and do. I recommend going to the information desk to pick up harry potter passports as you will need them to collect stamps throughout the experience.
We paid for the audio and priority parking but to be honest neither was needed. Guides talk to you throughout the whole experience and there are interactive panels that you can use. So I did regret paying extra. Also parking was plentiful and I didn't need to worry about being too far from the entrance even without priority, so this was unnecessary to purchase.
We also purchased the souvenir guidebook in advance but you have to queue in the store to get this so again buying in advance was unnecessary. However this was a worthwhile investment.
Part of the tour is outside the studios so on arrival don't put your coats or umbrellas in the lockers if the weather is bad, however the staff will advise you of this too.
The toilets were clean and there were plenty of them throughout.
The restaurant was a little confusing with the menus, and they also got our order wrong which meant we ended up eating separately which was unfortunate, but really the only fault that I found through the whole day and the staff were very quick to rectify the problem.
They won't allow you into the tour until about 15 to 20 mins before your allocated time but you can still access the food hall, shops and entrance hall, which has interactive activities.
The tour itself can take anything from 2 hours to 5 depending how quick you walk round and how much you want to take in. There are many opportunities throughout to immerse yourself in the Harry Potter experience and it was throughly enjoyable. It was a little busy at times but we took it slow allowing people to go past so we had more time to look and take pics without too many people around us.
The price for the experience is very fair and I definitely recommend a visit if you haven't been before

This was an absolutely amazing and unique experience that is really worth the money!
Smooth round-trip by bus, however, would have liked an hour more as time was a bit tight at the end.
We had to queue for about 8-10 minutes and in the entrance we were met by a security check which felt reassuring. Incredibly friendly and committed staff.
The only downside to the trip was the restaurant part, which was both expensive and half-baked. As you were not allowed to bring your own food, this was the alternative, which was a bit of a disappointment. A hamburger with fries, children's hamburger and apple juice cost a total of SEK 288 (May 2024)
Large souvenir shops with all kinds of things that are fun to buy as a souvenir. Bought a chocolate frog, Bertie's botts (jellybeans) and a nicer shopping bag, which came to a total of SEK 590, which I think were real overpriced(!!). So you can count on SEK 1,000 extra on this trip if you want to have both food and a souvenir.
Really want to recommend this, it's almost a must, even if you're not a huge Harry Potter fan, just watch the movies and you'll think this is an awesome experience! Definitely worth the price with the ToR, admission and experience!

A lack of organization with the buses!!!! Arrival at 3:00 p.m. and an appointment to leave at 5:30 p.m. already a very short time to carry out the visit which normally lasts 3 or 4 hours. In short, we shorten our visit to be on time and then we learn that they sent an email at 4:00 p.m. for us warn that the departure and postponed to 7:30 p.m. BREFFF i (mobile turned off during the visit) impossible to return a wait in the parking lot!!! In reality I recommend buying the ticket for €50 and taking an Uber to get there for €40 or €50 as opposed to booking on this site which charges €150 per person not to be satisfied!!!

First of all: The studio tour is interesting.
But still, honestly, I was disappointed. This came mainly through three points:
Too many people: although only a certain number of tickets are offered per day, it was really too crowded: our time slot started at 15:30 with 20 min waiting at the entrance. at the restaurant we had to wait another 30 min, the queue at the shop was so long that we didn't buy anything because otherwise we would have missed our bus in 19:15. In addition, at each more interesting exhibit (the traveling knight, house of dursleys, Hogwarts express) were snakes. We were in Halloween time, and the Death Eaters came by 3 times, but I couldn't see them once because so many people were standing in front of me.
We spent at least 1/3 of the time waiting and couldn't watch certain things anymore because the time wasn't enough. It's too bad.
Costs: Entry is really not cheap, and yet much extra costs: £5 for the audio guide, £15-30 for photos in front of green screen (and there were 3 photo moments), real sporting prices at the shops and cafes...
Luckily, there were two of us, but for families, it's going to be really expensive...
Quality of food: halfway through the tour is a restaurant, and after 2 hours studio tour we were quite hungry. For that we also stood in line for 30 min and paid quite a lot of money. Unfortunately, the food was so bad that we did not eat it (and we NEVER throw away food normally). I ate 1/2 of a hot dog and I felt sick all evening.
The bread was cold and dry, the onions cold and kind of sour, the vegetarian sausage... not good.
We made a lot of fun out of watching the disappointed faces when people took the first sip of butter beer. the restaurant is really not recommended.
I was really looking forward to the tour and I want to emphasize that I found the exhibition interesting in itself. But I still wouldn't do the tour again.

A lot of things to look at.
A must for a Harry Potter fan.
Items in the shops can be a bit overpriced.
Long queue where you can eat which isn’t very organised.
Toilets outside and inside the studio.
A free bus service ( with tickets) provided although no security person on the way back to make sure people don’t push in the queue.
Had to ask for a book to collect the stamps.
Beautiful effects such as snow.
We’re here hours.
Would visit again.

We didn’t realize you needed to book your single tickets for the Harry Potter Studios, three months in advance. We ended up taking one of the double-decker Harry Potter buses, which included an admission ticket to the studios. It was the only way we could see it. The tour took us about three hours and we were going through it in a fairly quick pace. It was absolutely fabulous. If you are Harry Potter fan, this is a must do. If you want to take a train there as opposed to a double-decker bus, just make sure that you buy your admission ticket at least three months in advance. We went in January and we didn’t think we had to do that.

The Harry Potter exhibit itself was amazing. I’d do it again. The information after booking with transportation was correct but there was a lot of confusion by everyone about whether we were at the correct pick up gate. There are no signs until just before boarding and there is no one from premium tours until just before boarding. The bus driver was not helpful. You don’t get your entry tickets until you get off the bus at the studio which made people a bit nervous. Then we had to take a photo of the bus license plate when getting off to ensure we got back on the correct bus as they came and went to pick up others but we had to return on the same bus.

PURCHASE TICKETS EARLY - like we are talking several months in advance. If you wait until even the month you are going you likely won't be able to get tickets. I purchased our tickets 3 months early and still almost missed out on the time/date we wanted. If you are purchasing from outside of the UK (we are from Canada) the website can be glitchy and I ended up having to call to purchase the tickets. However when I called to book they were fantastic and very helpful. The only real issue I had was that there is no toll free number so calling cost me a pretty penny. If they could have a website that allowed out of country fans to book tickets without being a giant hassle that would be a huge improvement.
Once the tickets were booked, the issues stopped and the actual tour was phenomenal. We took the train from where we were staying (near Waterloo station) to the stop where we had to meet the shuttle bus. It was easy and all the directions were included in the various communications they sent out. The tour starts on the shuttle bus, which is wrapped and themed with music and even an intro video.
The tour itself is nothing short of magical. Even the way the tour starts is pure Harry Potter Magic (won't spoil that with details). We spent over 4 hours exploring and taking pictures of all the different displays. For a HP fan this tour is an absolute must - as long as you have a good chunk of time to devote to it as I would not want to be rushing through. We got the digital guide which had a ton of cool information to go along with the displays. This was definitely not a necessity but we were happy with the decision to purchase it. Not including pics as I don't want to ruin anything for those thinking about going.
About halfway through there is a cafe where you can get food/snacks and of course, Butterbeer which was incredible. At the end of the tour we went and had a bite to eat and even the food was themed. They also had a coffee/dessert place and everything there was, of course, themed and looked incredible (we chose not to indulge there though). Overall absolutely worth it.
The tour as a whole is just amazing - it is a little on the pricy side but is worth every pound!

I would like to book a tour in November, but I noticed that the price in November is higher than in September. Could anyone provide more information about the pricing?

Could anyone recommend a family friendly hotel that is convenient to get to the shuttle bus in Watford but not too far from centre also? Would ideally like just one train to get to harry potter and not have to be changing

I think of booking for the deluxe tour for Harry Potter studio tour London is the deluxe tour worth booking £250 for a tickets.
Also is £250 for 3 people together or for 3 people individually(mean all 3 people would have to pay £250 each for their ticket)

I seen that there no photography or filming allowed during the hogwarts express green screen ride or broom stick green screen ride at Harry Potter studio London tour. So how come some I seen videos of people on YouTube filming themselves on hogwarts express green screen ride and broom stick green screen ride without being told by staff working at the Harry Potter studio tour London that aren’t allowed to use photography or filming during the hogwarts express green screens ride or broom stick green stick ride.
Go on YouTube and watch video Harry Potter studio tour June 2015 - Green screen train ride to watch an farther filming his son and daughter and with on hogwarts express train ride green screen

This is an attraction that you pay for. I think it was around $40 for the video and photo package.

Think of visiting Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter next year in 2024 with my mum and dad( because had like Harry Potter audio books and films) I also like Harry Potter audiobooks witch month would be be best to visit Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter when the primary and secondary school are open in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland for school term and where it wouldn’t be busy with parents with 3 years old to 6 years old primary school children and kids 7 years old to 12 years old secondary kids visiting Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter.

I seen that if guests are celebrating their birthday whilst on the guided tour at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter that get to open the doors to great hall does actually have to be the guests birthday when they visit Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter or if th guest birthday is in January 2024 and visit Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter in April 2024 the guest still can open the doors to the great hall
