Not as good as other hidden underground tours
My wife and myself went on the Baker Street tour having done a few other hidden underground tours which we found very interesting. The Baker Street tour was nowhere near as interesting, quite a bit of time is spent walking through public areas while going to the next area which would be found behind other closed doors. On the plus side the tour guides were informative and knowledgeable. Other station tours such as Clapham deep shelter and Down Street are far more interesting. Strange that you are emailed a pdf leaflet a few days after you have done the tour, it should be sent before the tour so you can at least read up on it before going.

    Nice getaway from London
Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral is a nice place to visit. The tour takes only 20-30 minutes in Dover. If someone wants to spend more time in Dover, the tour may not be the best choice. Manon, the guide, is nice and helpful. Maria, the driver, is great and safe.

Very fun dy trip to Leeds Castle and Canterbury
Full day with very interesting places to visit. We went on a quiet day so we had time to go around in each of the places. Our tour guide Manon was very kind and provide us with all the needed information.

Great way to see multiple sites if pressed for time!
If you’re pressed for time, this tour is a great way to check multiple sites off your bucket list. Our guide Godfrey was knowledgeable and entertaining; and our driver Barrington was helpful and kind. We were given plenty of time to explore at each site. Excellent tour- would 100% recommend!

    Amazing Day Trip from London!
Godfrey and Barrington were absolutely delightful on this trip. We were expecting bare min talking and mostly a ride but Godfrey gave us cool information along our stops and Barrington’s dad jokes made us belly laugh. Overall I loved doing the three destinations in one day, and I felt that the tour gave appropriate time to go through each location. I’m so glad we did this tour!

    Great trip
The trip was fun and a great way to see a lot of England in one day. It rained so I was glad I brought an umbrella. but this did not diminish my enjoyment. The tour guide, Chrissy, and the driver, Greg were wonderful.

From the minute you get out of the bus, you’re stepping into the world of Harry Potter. There is so much to see- from costumes worn by the cast, to sets and props actually used in the movies- it was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back

    Thanks David!
We had an amazing tour with Evans & Evans/Driver: David Garcia while in London on business. Traveling for business you tend to be stuck in a conference room most of the time, so my client and I decided to spend sometime out of London and booked a day tour with Evans and Evans. Planning went well and they communicated often, and clearly up until the day of our trip. We received the name of the driver and his number prior to the day of which I appreiciated. The day of, David ran a few minutes late due to heavy traffic but as coincidence would have it, we were running late as well - so we were synced up. We had a very pleasant ride out to Bath (we almost forgot about the two hour journey as we chatted away - it seemed to go quick!). We felt safe with David, and he prepared us for the day. We adjusted our itnerary a little (we stopped by the Salsbury Cathedral for a quick gander at the Magna Carta). A very special thank you to David for convincing me that Stonehenge was worth the trip, and his flexibility was very much appreciated for the day. On my next trip to London, will definitely be looking for his services again to explore other locations outside of the city. Thanks for taking great care for my client and I while visiting.

Godfrey: The terrible guide! | Godfrey: O guia terrível!
I'll start by saying that my rating reflects my experience with the company Evan Evans Tours, and not with the locations. About the places visited: For Windsor, the time given is not enough to visit the palace. Stonehenge is enough time. I will not evaluate Bath once I have not visited the ruins. About the time spent: If you're planning to do all three attractions (Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath): prepare to feel hungry! There is not enough time to stop at a restaurant to eat, and food on the bus is not allowed. About the guide: The guide Godfrey was the person who took us on the journey on February 12. Think of a person who is not at all friendly, extremely rude, unfunny and sarcastic. Below are the experiences I had with Godfrey, which were the definitive point for me NOT to recommend Evan Evans Tours to my colleagues: 1: The guide seemed to be prejudiced against Latinos in general. When he spoke English, he used the loudspeakers on the bus; but for announcements in Spanish, he only used headphones. In other words: if you speak English, you don't need to wear headphones, but if you speak Spanish, you must keep them on for the whole journey. What was surprising was that Spanish speakers were in the majority! Of everyone on the bus, only one couple spoke English. So my question is: why are people who only understand Spanish forced to listen to English and be uncomfortable on the journey wearing headphones; and English speakers don't have to wear headphones and cannot hear the Spanish language on the bus loudspeakers either? 2: Exclusivity with Americans from the United States. If you are American, from the United States: look for Godfrey! He'll treat you like a first-class customer! A good example of this is the generous review that user Sandy S gave the guide on Tripadvisor. Godfrey provided exclusive information to the couple, and even allowed them to eat on the bus (unlike other users, who he forced to throw their food in the trash before boarding the bus). However, I confess it was funny! At the end of the trip, the couple didn't give Godfrey a single American dollar as a generous tip! :( 3: Poor communication and severe threats to abandon us if we didn't keep to the schedule. The guide Godfrey threatened several times to abandon us in the towns if we were late. However, he was not helpful enough to explain where the bus would be parked. One example was in Windsor: I had to put myself in danger and run through the streets to find the parking garage because Godfrey hadn't given clear instructions on how to find it. There is also no telephone or help system in case of emergencies, so go prepared to look after yourself, because if your guide is Godfrey, he won't help you! 4: Godfrey is definitely not excited about his job! At the end of the tour, he hid the QR Code from us to prevent us from evaluating his work; and he didn't tell us his name to avoid bad reviews! This shows that he certainly knew about the poor service he provided. Godfrey forgot that we (Latino) tourists are also paying his salary, and we expect to be treated with the respect we give him. He just didn't count on my proactivity in coming here to tell the truth about what he's doing in his job. About the driver: The driver Alex doesn't deserve this review. He drove carefully and got us around safely. And, in certain situations, he was more concerned about helping us than Godfrey was.

Overrated and overcharged.

Blenheim Palace was beautiful with 2 & half hours visiting time.

The rest of the trip absolutely rubbish.

Cotswold we had 55 mins of visiting time.
As a group we was told this would be around lunch time to grab something to eat . We arrived at 14.15 and told we had 55 minutes to look around . So as you can imagine grab some food no time what’s so ever to walk around.

Downton Abbey village again when you arrive walked around 6 locations of property that featured in the program none of which looks the same as you can imagine for tv purposes. This trip last for 30 mins.

Absolutely overrated over charged and would definitely take a wide birth for £187 for two people to spend much of your day travelling for nearly 9 hours in a coach. I appreciate traffic I understand this but the time spent at venues is very poor.

Dear Stewart, Thank you for your feedback on your Downtown Abbey, Blenheim palace and Cotswolds tour. We are sorry that you could not experience the tour the way we would have liked you to experience it. We agree that we would like to give more time at each venue however due to time constraints unfortunately this is not possible. We usually spend about 30 minutes there as this is the maximum amount of time the sight allow us to be there for. If you have any further queries please email us at reservations@evanevanstours.co.uk. The first emails about timing of the tour indicated meeting at 9 am and where to meet was absolutely not clear. Thirteen people were left behind, it says something about communications. No refund because they sent an email the day before, I and 12 others missed it, we were traveling and arrived when bus departed.

I was intensely disappointed when I learned that we would NOT be visiting Downton Abbey which is what the hype for the trip led me to believe would happen. It should be made clear that the Abbey is not included. Nor are the fake pubs. As for seeing Lady Crowleys house, it was a joke. The entire ground floor was blocked out by a very high stone wall which we couldn’t enter or see over.
The Cotswolds were nice though more time to wander the streets would have been nice.

Sheila our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and really enjoyed listening to her narrative about the history, architecture, what to see and do during stops, what to expect. It could not have been a better trip. The coach was comfortable and had USB power ports at each seat. The driver was friendly. Enjoyed the journey very much.

I learned so much history and also many great facts from our wonderful guide, Andy Jackson. He spoke eloquently and clearly and was obviously genuinely interested in what he was telling us. Our driver, Gordon, handled that big coach expertly! I couldn’t believe how he could back into the small parking spot with ease.

If you want to get out of city for the day and experience the beautiful English countryside this is it! Our guide, Godfrey, was just awesome and incredibly knowledgeable giving us great facts and history tidbits from the time you pull out of the terminal to back again. He kept us entertained the whole trip! The 3 locations were very interesting and beautiful - Godfrey gave us plenty of time at each site and made sure we enjoyed the areas we visited.
And of course a massive shout out to our dedicated driver, Aaron, who ensured we had a safe and comfortable drive the whole time.

First of all our tour guide, Deborah, was amazing and one of the best tour guides we have ever had., So interesting relating the history of Blenheim Palace in story fashion instead of blunt facts. The Palace was a self tour with furnishings and wall adornments, There was much to see, along with a small museum of Churchill. The Blenheim grounds were equally impressive. Cotswold, where I especially wanted to see and expected a quaint English town, was disappointing. However, it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and everyone was out to enjoy the day. So Cotswold was extremely crowded with appearance of yet another tourist trap. Perhaps a different day, a different reaction? Bampton, the Downtown Abby town, held more the quaintness I had hoped for. Previous reviewers of this town were disappointed, but our tour guide lead us to the notable Downton Abby sights and gave us again some great stories to add to the interest.

The area of the Cotswolds is beautiful. However, there wasn’t enough time at the Downton site to do much. As well, our guide, Irene, is a nice lady but is definitively not well- suited to the job of tour guide. I’ve done so many tours in Europe and the guides usually have the charisma and knowledge for the job. This lady tried her best but she did not stop talking, often not finishing sentences and often speaking about about irrelevant things. On the way back, it was clear that she was trying to better opportunity for tips by speaking to EVERY person on the bus when many were just trying to rest after a long day. We actually met people at our hotel who had done the tour and we all spoke about this. It’s a decent trip but I wouldn’t do it again - especially if Irene was in charge. Sigh.

I really enjoyed this tour with our guide Andrew. He was super knowledgeable about Downton Abbey and gave us some really good insight on how they filmed the show (camera work and all!) if you are the fan. Really recommend this experience if you want to explore the English countryside (which you definitely should!).

This tour was one of our longest but we had planet of time to enjoy the day... nothing felt terribly rushed!
Blenheim Palace was a spectacular surprise and Oliver made sure we had plenty of time to take in the vast space and gorgeous architecture, art, and gardens! Oh what a beautiful surprise this Palace is!!
Oliver and Peter were amazing!
Peter got us everywhere safe and comfortable! He was so gracious to take care of my scooter at every stop with kindness and and big smile! What a lifesaver! He's just such a very sweet man!
Where to begin with Oliver! What an incredible tour guide and host! He has such a personal passion! When he's sharing the vast amount of knowledge he has stored in his brain, you know it comes from personal experience and trusted knowledge, usually first-hand! He is such a delight to have guide the tours and we are thrilled to have him take us on two tours... very different tours but equally informative and fun!! Oliver really makes it a great way to spend the day!
Another incredible tour to end our holiday in London!!
