- Babblingbates00Fascinating tours with outstanding guidesWe were lucky to book two tours in a weekend, one walking Brunel’s Thames Tunnel, the other exploring the disused tunnels under Charing Cross. Both were truly brilliant, extremely well organised and with brilliant guides. Highly recommended but join the mailing list and book early.
- 476mayut00Great one-day tour in Lake DistrictDue to the disruptions and cancellations of the train, we got off it at the Preston station unexpectedly. I was confused at first because I'm a foreign tourist, but the tour agent(Evan Evans Tours) got in touch with me immediately and the local tour guide, Tim picked me up in front of the station. He was very friendly and his explanation was easy to understand for foreigner. In addition, he helped me to take pictures at a great photo spot. There are a lot of beautiful nature, so I could forget daily life and enjoy this tour. Thank you for your kind support, Tim!
- 311alanag00Good one for travel speedrunners who really want to fit these in but are also trying to save timeNice tour that allowed us to see Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath all in one day. The visits to each place are short and sweet in nature, but just enough time there to get some great photos, food and experiences. This compromise suited us well, as we did not want to expend whole individual days on each place, given that we had limited time for our stay in London. I wouldn't advise this one for people who want in-depth tours for Windsor or Bath, but it's perfect for anyone planning their trip to London, reviewing a crammed itinerary and struggling to find time for any of these three destinations individually. Our guide, Rowan, was on task throughout the whole day and ensured that we got the best opportunities to make the most of our visits to Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath. She was highly approachable and gave some excellent tips - felt well looked after. Our bus driver Earl was a champ, ensuring we got to each place in promptly and safely. He was quite witty too!
- leeaG8890GK00Wonderful TripWonderful trip! Tour guide, Mel, is very humorous and has a deep knowledge of history. Highly recommended.
- Fearless3028164528700Great experienceIt was an amazing experience especially with Mel as our guide. My son fell ill and he made sure he had a place to settle down to rest while the rest of us continue with the tour. Mel's humour was spot on, what I expect of British standards. His jokes certainly made the entire journey lively and fun. I really enjoyed myself taking in the sights and Mel's stories.
- H8389LPmichaell00Great early winter tourMel was our tour guide and he was great! We learned about the history of all these places. Mel made the tour entertaining and ensured we were all knew where to go. The tour moved at good speed given you go to 3 different locations that are far apart. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
- Curious5246084429500Wonderful experience to Windsor, Stonehenge and OxfordTrip experience was wonderful. It was a good introductory trip to the 3 places for one to cover the three places in a day. The guide (Mel) was very knowledgeable, humorous and very helpful.
- darrentV5647GC00Tour with MelThe trip was interesting, our guide Mel is knowledgeable and humorous, he made the day enjoyable. ;)
- Inspire69279100Mel “Gibson” was our tour guide!Mel was AWESOME! Not only did he point us in the right direction with getting tickets into all the attractions, but was very knowledgeable about all of our destinations. He included even more info than just the basics, was light hearted and kept the group laughing and smiling from start to finish. He took the extra steps to make sure everyone on the bus knew where they were going when we got off the bus, and is an excellent guide. If you’re lucky enough to have him, ask him about his book! Would give him 10 stars if I could.
- josemY2644EM00Great experienceMel was amazing!!!!! He was very informed and very knowledgeable. It was a great experience and definitely recommend.
- pauilar7700Great experienceMel was great!!!! Very informed and kept us entertained. Provided clear instructions and great suggestions.
- msailor800Great time with Mel and SorenMel (tour guide) and Soren (bus driver) were amazing. We got to the sites before the other tour groups, so we were able to see everything just slightly before everyone else showed up, which was wonderful! Mel really knows his history and was very engaging and funny. Really enjoyed my time on this tour and learned a lot. Mel even went around at the end and made sure we all knew where we were going and how to get there after the tour. As a female solo traveler, I really appreciated that.
- 597agustinl00Mel is a fantastic and knowledgeable guide.Mel is a fantastic tour guide. All 3 sites were great to see and Mel was entertaining and knowledgeable about all of them.
- nicolebG4765LR00Great way to sample the locationsOur tour guide Mel was amazing!!!! The tour over all was a great way to sample each location, but time is tight especially at Windsor castle (you could spend a day here easily). The time ant Stonehenge was perfect especially for rainy day. Oxford walk tour was perfect with a little shopping time after. our driver Soren was a great driver for us to and from safely.
- jeffreywN5429OT00ThoroughFun and quick. Explanations were provided and jokes to make it less of lecture seamlessly integrated

My husband and I visited London in February for a few days and wanted to explore the "countryside." After reading the reviews from previous guests, we decided to book with Evan Evans Tours. Monica and Mark were the best tour guide and driver. We chose to participate in the three-attraction tour. We started out at Windsor...we were there early, so we were able to be in the front of the entrance. Tip: Leave your cameras on the bus....you are not allowed to take pictures in any of the buildings which was disappointing. We headed over to Stonehenge next which was about an hour away. It was a dreary, misty and cold day, so we took the shuttle bus up to the site, but the mile-long walk looked nice for a more sunny and warm day. The rock formations were interesting and the grounds are beautiful. Heading to Bath took about an hour and a half. It was really amazing seeing the bath still actively flowing with hot springs. Windsor and Bath are both enchanting towns with plenty of shopping and food options. Pack some snacks and water for the bus ride since you will on the road the entire day. Hot food and hot drinks are not permitted on the bus, and there is not restroom. Bring some extra cash to tip...we had no cash on us and felt sorry we didn't have anything to leave since Monica and Mark really went out of their way to accommodate us and ensure we made the most of the experience.

The tour guide was amazing and she has a lot to share during the trip. Nevertheless, the tour is so long that you won't spend quality time in the 3 stops due to waiting times to access even due the tickets had been ordered. If you are lucky, you will be there just for 30-35 min with a sense of hurry due to the trip schedule.
I would recommend to visit Bath and Windsor in a separate day trip, both places has a lot of history and things to do and you could take the train from London. Stonehenge would worth it in a tour with a specialist guide to explain the historical background.

Dear juansH,
Thank you for leaving us feedback.
Seeing that you had a 5-Star experience is the best thing we could hope. While we do agree that we would like to give more time to our guests at each location, we have strict timings to arrive at each venue otherwise entry would not be permissible. However, we do have other tours that cover only two venues in a day which allow more time to explore, please visit our website for more information.
Best wishes

I highly recommend this tour. It was a great way to see a lot of sites in a short amount of time. Jennifer our guide was a star with her stories and how she constantly was making sure everyone was ok. She was so knowledgeable not just about the sites but about the history of the country. I really enjoyed listening to her talk! Our driver Aston was also a blast and very funny. Overall great experience. I highly recommend.

Wow, what can I say. My husband and I have been on dozens of tours in different countries over the years and the Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath tour was one of the best we have EVER had. Full credit goes to our fantastic guide Phil, he was the most knowledgeable and helpful tour leader and full to the brim of interesting facts. Thanks to Phil and our driver Valentine we kept to schedule on an extremely busy day during peak Christmas season. Phil goes above and beyond in every way and his professionalism and passion makes the tour well worth the price! Would highly recommend!

This was my first time in the UK and the second time for my girlfriend. She had already done this tour in her first trip a few years ago. The tour was fantastic. Every place was beautiful. My personal favorite was the Bath. The tickets into the Bath were not included but it was worth paying the extra 40 pounds (for both of us) to go in and explore. Our overall tour experience was amplified tenfold by our tour guide Peter and our driver Andres aka Pringle. Peter is probably the best tour guide we have ever had. My girlfriend ended up having a lot better experience this time around because of Peter & Andres. Peter is truly knowledgeable and he clearly loves what he does. His kept the excitement & energy level high throughout and that just goes to show his dedication towards this and how much he loves & appreciates his country. We thought Peter was a good person as he ensured at the end of the trip that every person in the bus knows how to get back to their hotels from the drop off location. He was very respectful as well. The weather was pretty bad as it rained all day but Andres drove the bus like a true professional. Not once did we felt his driving was rash or he was trying to make risky moves. Visibility was low but he made sure everyone in the bus was comfortable throughout. We highly recommend taking a rain jacket and/or an umbrella as it can rain anytime and it gets very muddy around Stonehenge.

We enjoyed a day trip with this tour. Our guide Chris was so informative and we had a smooth day of travel seeing these three areas. First was Windsor Castle, then Stonehenge followed by Bath. It’s a full day which starts at 7:30 to meet at Victoria Carriage station and return there close to 7:40. The bus was driven by George and was very comfortable for the trip.

We jumped on this tour to visit Stonehenge, but all three locations were amazing. The weather, was amazing! My wife and I are from Australia and hate the heat. We traded 40 deg for 8 deg, and couldn’t be happier. All that was made even better with Debbie’s wit, stories, enthusiasm, one on one little jokes, and making every ‘Darling’ feel special and welcome. We have 14 more days of our trip, and I am now worried we won’t get a guide as knowledgeable and passionate. Thank you Debbie for a fantastic day.

This past Saturday, March 14th, I woke up way earlier than I wanted to, I arrived in London the evening before and was to be frank, I was tired. When we arrived at the station to be picked up, I asked how long the tour would last and was told that we would be arriving approx. 12 hours later. I thought, great...I'm tired and now have this long day ahead.
When it was time to board the bus, we were greeted by Eugene, someone with the power to shift my tired mindset around. His joyfulness was infectious, only to get on the bus and be greeted with a smile from Dave. Once everyone was situated, we were educated and entertained and when there was downtime for us to close our eyes for a bit, we were awaked by a friendly and song-like, "wakey wakey." It will now be stuck in my head like Kylie Jenner's, "rise and shine."
The day went by fast, but never felt rushed, I have a wealth of knowledge that I didn't have before the tour and have made it back home and have been online learning even more. It was my first time in London and it was such a great introduction. I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to travel to London. I would also recommend taking the tour with the dynamic duo, Dave and Eugene!!

My best friend and I decided to spend at week in London and also go to Stonehenge for a day. I was scheduled to just do the early tour of Stonehenge in the inner circle, but do to low numbers it was cancelled. Fortunately, there was a later tour that went to Windsor and Bath. So all around it was a nice replacement. Our guide, Mel Adams, and our driver Paul were AMAZING! Not even 15 minutes on the road to Stonehenge and everyone was laughing. Mel has this wonderful way to make you feel like you’ve been friends for a long time. At each location, Mel gave a wonderful background of information. He is very knowledgeable and keep you on edge the whole time with these little nuggets of trivia and jokes. The bus itself was clean and make the drive very enjoyable. Pack snacks and drinks but you do have opportunities to purchase meals at the sites. It was a long day but I’m so very blessed to explore with my bestie and Mel leading the way. I’d definitely recommend Evan Evans Tours and would request Mel again! I appreciated his kindness. Oh yep we were there for the Covid-19 crisis and even with the worrisome paranoid thoughts about germs, Mel and Paul took extra precautions to keto us safe, informed and entertained. THANK YOU MATES! Book Evan Evans and request Mel if you can :)

For anyone is still considering, I DON'T recommend to cramp all 3 locations (stonehenge, windsor castle and bath) into the same day. It sounded convenient in theory, but it was actually unnecessarily tiring and stressful.
On my tour, we had to spend majority of trip either riding on a crowded bus or standing in the long tour group line at the entrance, and only got 30 - 45 min to tour the actual place. For example, at Windsor Castle, our tour group somehow arrived after all the other groups, so we had to wait in line for 45 min at the entrance and finish entire castle tour in about 30 min - that was pretty much 15 min seeing actual exhibition, and 15 min running on castle ground. The same thing happened at Stonehenge and Bath, which was super frustrating. I ended up looking at the time more than the actual attraction so I won't miss the set boarding time of my tour bus. There is actually a train connecting Windsor and Bath from London, you'd be better off to take public transportation there so you get to appreciate the place in a slower pace.
Stonehenge was pretty underwhelming and overly commercialized. Bath was beautiful while the Roman Bath house was also underwhelming. But again, you'd be better off taking public transportation from London and tour the city at your own pace.
All tour was guided by electronic device issued by the admin office at the location. The tour guide who came with us only offered anecdotes of English history while we are waiting in line... But both the tour guide and the driver were friendly - would give their service 5 star, but the overall tour didn't offer a good experience.

We were left behind too (and missed Bath altogether) - but, we had only ourselves to blame. Just know they are strict about departure times. If you are late to announced departures time, you very well may be left to figure out a return on your own.

Aproveite!

Are babies allowed on the tour? And do we pay if they are under 3?
ASeasonedTraveler060
Washington DC, DC63 contributions
Consider the following when contemplating taking a baby: it's a wonderful but LONG tour day. Ours lasted about 13+ hours. Plus, the drive between sites is also LONG - 2-3 hours. Baby-friendly? Obviously, that depends on your baby and his/her temperament (and consider there is a tour guide on board who narrates continuously) . And because a bus is even closer seating than an airplane (with no restrooms), consider whether you want to do all that is necessary to care for your baby in very close quarters. Likewise, to get to Windsor Castle from where the bus stops is a pretty good walk. And to get to and through the various parts of Windsor Castle and the Roman Baths are rather steep inclines and steps. Not even stroller-friendly.
Is there luggage storage on the bus?

Yes there was luggage storage. We had two large suitcases as we were heading to a cruise at the end of our journey (Southampton). It was easy to retrieve - the driver we had was terrific.

We bought sandwiches and snacks at a restaurant outside of the exit at Windsor (it was really good! Don't remember the name but it was kind of early in the morning and the guy was so nice about letting us order and take food to go. It was down the street which was across from the only exit from Windsor, all the way down on the left.) We visited the queen's grave and then still had time to walk through the apartments and then got out before the gates closed for the changing of the guard AND still got food. You just have to have a plan, which basically means listening to the tour guide.
We ate on the bus to maximize time at the different locations. Not a ton to eat at Stonehenge, so it's better to grab food at windsor in my opinion. The time at each location was brief but I felt like the tour guide was spot on with his recommendations for how to see things.
Bath has lots of cute shops and we had delicious pasties, scones and chocolate.
If you absolutely must read every plaque and sign, this tour is not for you, but I was very happy with getting to see all these places with a tour guide that kept things on time! I only had so many days on vacation this tour checked off a lot on my list!

Hello! I understand that Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. If I were to book this tour on one of those days would we still visit the Castle and simply admire it from a distance? Or is this part of the tour substituted with something else? Please let me know, thanks!

Windsor castle was closed when we were there because the queen had recently passed away. We did get to to see the outside of the castle and shopped some in the little town. Totally worth it!!
When there is a pass-by portion in the itinerary will we be able to get off to take picture of the landmark or just pass the landmark in the bus?
