Excellent food and guidance with Roisin
Roisin was an excellent guide with a perfectly paced tour alternating between eating, walking and history. Each food selection was very good, including the sausage roll, longboy, fish and chips, cider, cheeses, and toffee pudding. A very manageable small group of about 8 made for a very nice tour.

    Highly recomended experience
Spent a busy 3 nights in London, & what a brilliant way to end our busy sight seeing experience. After being let down by taxis we arrived late so a bit panicky. The help from the tour operator was immediate as to where we could join Chris, our fab tour guide & the rest of the party. Lots of different food & beverages were sampled in lots of quirky out of the way venues., with lots of stories & history along the way. Susan & Lorraine. X x x

A lovely trip to get some food at Bower market
Was in London sightseeing and Fort would pop to Barrow market to pick up some food. My wife has been there before and she has a lovely Indian street food where I went for the Italian deli sandwich. Absolutely magnificent couldn’t for it very busy but very friendly place must go back next time.

    Amazing food tour!
We had an amazing time with Elle as our guide. The food was delicious and the information was so interesting. It was an active time while still being very accessible and laid-back. Highly recommend.

One of the absolute highlights of our trip to London. And Roisin was such a delight. I would do this tour every single time we visit London!

Get ready to have fun and enjoy the buzziest part of London still.
This tour took me to my happy place. Really great food, and learned a great deal about one of my favorite parts of London. Tom, our tour guide was thoroughly engaging. He was always conversing with all the members of our group individually, and then he'd huddle us up to give us information as a group. But I always felt like I was just hanging out with a group of new friends. Soho is bustling with foodie meccas to begin with, so it was great that Tom could spirit us into a crowded restaurant, and there would be a table reserved for us. Cuisine was really diverse, and not a bad bite in the bunch. Wish I could remember the name of the last place we went to because it was such a groovy, dimly lit speakeasy to have a small but rich dessert and a glass of wine. What a blast!

Great way to learn about Soho and eat some great food at the same time.
Our guide Tom was great! The food choices were excellent and we went to so many places around Soho I would have otherwise passed by unnoticed.

    Absolutely wonderful!
The best food tour of London! I had an incredible time with Kaffifi tasting the best food of Borough Market. My favorites were the sticky toffee pudding & the melt in your mouth fish &!chips. 10/10 would recommend!

    Worth every penny
I don’t usually do reviews, but this was a phenomenal tour. The food was excellent and plentiful at every stop. The drinks were fun, they clearly put thought into them. The venues were cool. Tour guide was engaging and gave brief historical talks along the way. Highly recommend.

Borough Market Food Tour Feb 2024
We had a nice small group for Sunday morning. Laine and Tom were great guides and loved the history intermixed with the traditional foods. Loved all the foods and drinks we had. Our favorites were the sausage roll, fish and chips, and treacle tart. A great bonus to the trip was the free samples at the market. Laine gave us a great tip to see some the ruins of a Roman temple at the Bloomberg building. Highly recommend this tour and make sure that you arrive with an empty stomach as there's plenty of food.

Great and tasty way to Soho
Great food and drink tours. All the venues had really good dishes and drinks, and our guide Tom also made the historical part very interesting. Would definitely recommend it!

Your new "must do" in London
Do you like food? Do you like history? So you love London? Then you need to do this tour! Stroll around the Borough Market with Roisin, intermittent stops for a (decent sized) sample of several of the traditional British foods, from sausage rolls to sticky toffee pudding. But are they truly British foods? You could google it but it's much more fun to take this tour to find out.

Tour canceled with a few days notice.
We were scheduled for the twilight soho food tour on a Monday. A few days before our trip we were notified that the tour was cancelled as many of the restaurants would not be open. I was surprised that the company was not aware before a few days notice that they establishments would be closed. The company did offer a few other options which was nice however we had very limited opportunities to change the date or time due to other activities that we had already booked. Of course I was disappointed but able to find another company that was able to support the similar tour in Soho without issue.

Lauren was great and the food was tasty. She did a great job to pivot when some guests arrived late and others arrived a day early, and was accommodating of everyone. It was a good mix of food and history as we walked through the City.

We took this tour to replace an Amsterdam tour we had to cancel. We are Londoners so were unsure whether we would learn anything new, but we definitely did! Lauren was engaging and fun and we got to sample lots of delicious food and see and learn about a part of London we don’t know well. We would highly recommend the tour!

Josh was an excellent tour guide and we had the perfect blend of history of food, history of the area, and history of the people. Josh was very good at interacting with the group and encouraging the group to talk with each other. It was a really interesting part of town. We have been on numerous food tours and this was at the top of our list. Also lots of food, generous portions and the food was delicious and varied. Would absolutely do another tour with this company.

This was an amazing way to spend a few hours in London! After having the worst ever hospitality experience anywhere in the world the day before at a restaurant Lauren really showed how hospitality in the capital should be. Lauren was very knowledgeable, energetic and passionate throughout the tour. I learned so much about East London and I would even recommend this tour to fellow Brits and Londoners! The highlight of the tour would probably be the dessert at the end - as the restaurant was very alternative, the staff were very friendly and everything was so spread out (very COVID safe). I look forward to doing further tours in Europe with them soon :)

Kaffe was our excellent tour guide! He made East End London come alive as we made our way down different streets, learning the history and tasting delicious food at each stop. Everything was carefully organized so that our group could simply enjoy. We have been on multiple food tours throughout the world, but this was the best! From the selection of the amazing food, the amount of walking, and the interesting stories along the way. Our tour guide went above and beyond and helped us find our route back to our hotel. When we visit London again, we will personally look to ask for Kaffe and Katie to be our food tour guide!

Regards
Katie and Terry

This is a great way to experience Landon’s East End. Niall is a great tour guide - funny and informative, and his great actor’s voice projects well so it is easy to hear him even with street noise. The food was delicious - it’s hard to choose a favorite. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour.

Matt was our guide, and Lauren tagged along, so my husband and I had the benefit of 2 good tour guides - and the other people had cancelled, so we it was a private tour which was lots of fun. We had not been to the East End before, so it was great to see new things and Matt knew quite a lot about the area and history. It made it fun to go from eating to learning and seeing new things.

I enjoyed the food, but we went from savory to sweet and back, and my taste buds were numb by the end.

We started with a bacon sandwich, then went to a dessert, then had fish and chips, then a stop with 3 different curries and rice, to a salted bagel and pastrami type of meat with pickles (it was AMAZING - what flavor!!!!!) and then to a brownie and tea. The food was good, but the order seemed wrong. They also offer a drink package but do I want a glass of wine in the morning? Not really.

We chatted with Matt about maybe changing it in the future , such as arranging it so the tour started with the savory dishes and then ended with the sweet dishes. Just a thought.

But again, Matt was a great guide and we really learned quite a bit abou the East End and the food.

Definitely worth going!

Our tour was perfect! Dave led our random group of seven through an engaging and entertaining 3.5 hour walk thru Spitalfields. Dave was well-prepared, interesting, witty, ever-vigilant for how we were doing as well as being highly personable.

We walked quite a bit and stopped at five or six food destinations - all excellent for what they offered.

We appreciated the foodie and historical information Dave shared and considered this a perfect start to our London visit. We highly recommend this tour.

I have visited London many times, but had never explored the East End. Our tour guide Isaac provided just the right mix of history and culture to set the stage for the various foods that we tried. You may want to consider skipping breakfast if you take an 11:00 am tour so that you have enough room to enjoy all the amazing food, which ranges from traditional English dishes such as bacon sandwiches, to Bangladeshi curries! As always, I appreciated meeting other adventurous travelers who love learning about a city through its food. This tour was a highlight of my time in London.

I joined my husband and two of his co-workers on the East End Food Tour. Lauren and Maddie were our guides. They were so energetic and we had a fabulous time walking around the area, learning about the history and trying local foods. I am not sure of my favorite, everything was delicious. But, I was excited to have the best fish and chips and humble crumble (yum)! And, another amazing perk is that you get to skip the lines (queues), which may be over a block long.

The tour started late morning and the weather was fantastic. The Old Spitalfields Market was a great start and end point because you can continue shopping there or go back to explore the surrounding area from there.

I’d definitely recommend this tour for travelers interested in the best local foods, seeing unique street art, and in learning interesting historical facts (and a little Cockney speech).

The photo is of me (in the front) with our tour guides, Lauren & Maddie.
