We enjoyed the day! It was nice to be able to get on the bus and not stress about driving in another country. The bus has USB ports at each seat to charge phones which was nice.

We had Lesley as our guide and Paul as our driver and what a team they are! It seemed as though they loved showing us around. Lesley was very knowledgeable and had a lot to tell us about everywhere we went!

I will say, we did feel a little rushed at Windsor Castle, so if that's a place that you feel you want extra time at you should look into another tour. But for us personally it didn't take away from the day! We chose to not grab the offered Audio Tour and walked through the state rooms without listening.

It was pouring rain and very windy at Stonehenge, rain coats would be a great idea to have just incase 😬

They give you time at each place but you're responsible for finding your own lunch. So, if you want more time at the sites, I would recommend packing some sandwiches and snacks to have on the bus so you don't have to worry about finding lunch and missing out on wanted time at each place. They don't allow hot food or beverages on the bus.

Even with a ton of rain it still was an awesome day!

Fantastic day! Shelia was a ton of fun, full of lots of great information and made the day run smoothly which made it relaxing! Day was nicely spaced out and a great way to get a taste of each place. I highly recommend booking to include your entrance fees in the package price. This allows a stress free environment where you literally just have to get yourself back to the bus on time. Worth every penny (pence) as well as your time.

The full day Windsor/Stonehenge/Oxford tour with Katia (our guide) and Lorie (our driver) was fun and informative. Katia was particularly impressive with her knowledge and her ability to translate into Spanish (and a little French and Portuguese!); as a bilingual person, I can attest that her translations were spot on and did not detract from either experience.
Just a couple of heads up items if you are considering booking: it’s a long day with no opportunity for a sit down meal and only a few take away options so maybe bring snacks or pack a lunch. And finding the busses at Victoria can be quite confusing since it’s so big and there are so many tour companies, allow plenty of time to find your bus.
Otherwise, wonderful well-paced tour allowing for guided and self-guided options. Would recommend. 👍🏽

All the reservations for tours are subject to a minimum number of bookings. They won't tell you if it will go forward until 48 hours before, at which point it's difficult to book other tours if you don't like their rebooking offerings. I had two tours booked and both were cancelled.

Also if you rebook to a cheaper tour they won't automatically refund the price difference.

Dear Qased, Thank you for getting in contact with us. We are very sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience. At Evan Evans Tours we pride ourselves on offering the best possible service and experience to all our guests. It sounds like on this occasion, unfortunately, we were unable to operate our service for which we are extremely sorry. The pandemic has had a devastating effect on the travel industry and for some tours on certain dates we have not received the booking numbers necessary to run a tour. We always contact guests as soon as possible in advance (with a minimum of 48 hours) offering alternative tours or dates. We are sorry in this instance that you did not necessarily want to go with our alternatives. If our guests do decide to opt for a cheaper tour then we have a process in place to make sure that you get a partial refund without having to reach out to us. I am surprised to hear that this did not happen in your case. Please could you let us know your booking reference number (you can email us on reservations@evanevanstours.co.uk) so we can investigate further? Please accept our apologies again and we hope that things go back to ‘normal’ very soon so we do not disappoint you again should you choose to travel with us in the future. Best wishes, Evan Evans Team

There was directly conflicting information on the website’s “tour description” as to whether the castle was open, and they let me purchase entry to the castle, which they should not have done. This meant my guests were very disappointed as the bus could only circle outside the castle, and nobody could even go on the grounds. The Windsor Castle tour should not be available when Windsor Castle is completely closed.

Claudia (our guide) and Steve (our driver) were a wonderful duo for our day trip! They definitely strived for the best possible trip. Getting to the morning departure station was very easy and accessible, the departure time was very prompt, and our guide was lovely, funny and knowledgeable. Everything went very smoothly and I felt at ease and comfortable the whole time. I had a very good time seeing three very beautiful, historic sites, and it was nice to get out of London for the day. I highly recommend this tour thanks for the incredible day Claudia!!

I have many things to say about this tour, and the first one is... astoundishing. The locations are very beautiful, and I have to say that you can spend a day there and not get bored, but as we were on a tour that had 3 stops, we didn't have enough time to see everything, but with a faster pace you can see a lot. But enough about the attractions, I am sure you all know they are great, that is why you have chosen this tour. What is more importand and what is great about Evan Evans tours is the quality of their tourguides and drivers, and I hereby give a warm applause and one big thank you to our guide - Emily and our driver - James. James is a great driver, we arrived at precisely the right time as he had sad before, without any discomfort. Emily is very knowledgeable, and I have learned a lot about attractions and she gave parallels and emphasised the most important stuff.
I would definitely choose Evan Evans tours for another trip.

Touring Windsor Castle! Changing of the guard and Oxford. Unfortunately, we couldn’t do Stonehenge due to the summer solciste. A tip for the future. Eugene our host was fantastic, providing tons of information, he was funny, friendly…best tour guide I’ve ever had. He had fascinating stories, and even helped fix the wifi on the bus when we were having issues accessing it! He also made sure we were always safe by making sure we had our seat belts on…and that we were comfortable with the bus temperature. Wonderful guide and wonderful trip! Shabaz, our driver was on time, friendly and a safe driver!

This was a phenomenal tour. I’m so impressed that we could so easily do 3 top sites in just one day. Of course it would have been great to spend more time in each place, but we got more time than I expected- 2 hours in Stonehenge, 2 hours in Windsor, and an hour and a half in Oxford. The walking tour of Oxford (led by our intrepid, informative, and amazing tour guide, Robert!) was my favorite part- he really brought this beautiful city to life.

Very comfortable and clean bus, and great driver (thanks for the very smooth ride, Faisal!). We brought a few snacks because we didn’t want to take time out of the sites to stop for a meal, but it was easy to buy food to eat on the bus.

Wonderful tour all around- can’t wait to take another Evan Evans tour on our next trip!!

This full day tour is genuinely one of the best I’ve been on. My family and I were on tour 26 and Godfrey, our guide was extremely polite and had vast knowledge of the places we visited.
My favourite part of the trip was the walking tour in Oxford where he showed us the Bodelian Library. Along the way, he pointed out a lot of Harry Potter facts which I appreciate because I’m a huge fan of the franchise. He also guided my family and I to a small cafe that had really good.
Moreover, he made sure everyone was punctual and that really made this trip a fun and easy one. I would definitely recommend taking this tour.
