Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford Day Trip from London
From US$129.26
Overview
Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford University number among Southern England’s most popular destinations and on this seamless full-day tour, you’ll get a memorable experience of all three. A guide, round-trip coach transportation from Central London, and guaranteed admission at all three landmarks make this one of the simplest and most informative ways to discover the sights (and take a step back into British history).
What to Expect
Meet your guide at Central London’s Victoria Coach Station bright and early: Your full-day tour kicks off first thing in the morning. Board a comfortable, Wi-Fi-equipped coach and depart for your first destination: Windsor Castle.
The oldest continually occupied castle in the world, Windsor Castle is one of the Queen’s official residences today. With the company of an audio guide, learn the history behind the landmark as you wander through its State Apartments and St. George’s Chapel. If you’re lucky, you may just see the Changing of the Guard ceremony.
Next, climb back on board and make your way to Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dating to the Neolithic Age, the landmark is full of mystery: Discover more about its backstory with an audio tour.
The excursion continues to the charming city of Oxford, home to the world-renowned Oxford University. Visit the Bodleian Library, peek inside Christchurch College, and follow in the footsteps of some of history’s great thinkers on an in-depth walking tour.
At the end of the day, climb aboard your coach and head back to Victoria Coach Station, where the tour ends.

Well organized

I chose this trip because of the reviews of the tour guides and the fact that we were going to get British guides. My husband is hard of hearing and has a difficult time understanding anyone with a strong accent. Instead, we got Patrica, someone...More

Windsor Castle is magnificent. I wish we had more time there. The audio tour is optional and you should do it. We had to rush through the last, but well worth the day trip. The Stonehenge tour is self guided. Never thought I would cross...More

Our January Trip

The morning of our trip, the trip we had originally scheduled through a separate company fell through, and we panicked thinking our day was lost. Our concierge recommended the Evans Evans Tours, and the Stonehenge/Windsor/Oxford tour specifically. The tour was great from start to finish....More

Excellent day within week trip to London

Our tour guide (Deborah) was very organized, quite funny, and gave us many interesting details on all elements within tour. It was an excellent day trip (Tuesday, Jan2), while spending a week touring London.

We were at Stonehenge at sunset & it was around 11 p.m. when we got back into London. I'd say it's an 11/12 hour day.
