A good evening
Aug 2021
A lovely evening. Excellent service when I booked this event by phone, easy to get through to a person not a machine, not loads of numbers to push, and someone you could understand. The lady I spoke to was most helpful and pleasant .
The event was well organized on the boat, and the drink prices were average priced.
Would certainly consider booking with them again.

It doesn't get better to celebrate a 70th birthday
Jul 2021
70th Birthday event with 15 family members - it was perfect, despite (or rather improved by) virus restrictions. The whole evening was prefect; the restaurant seating, the social distancing, the drinks and dinner package, very good food, the Jazz Singer, the service, the views of the riverside, the distance travelled - from MI6 to the O2 all under the beautifully lit bridges...... Truly memorable!

Great evening
We had a great table with a brilliant view which helps. Also the weather was fine for going up top to get even better views. We were very impressed with the service and the waiting staff wore masks which was good. The food (veggie for us) was great and the jazz band was enjoyable. Recommend it. It's great to see London lit up from the river. The boat isn't being filled to allow extra social distancing between tables. The price for additional drinks was reasonable too.

Dinner on the Thames
May 2019
We enjoyed our meal and dinner with Jazz music on the Thames River. The food was very good and so was the music. It was a nice evening for a dinner cruise and the London night lights made for a very romantic experience. We're going to do it again when we return to London.

Just wonderful!
Jan 2020
My husband bought this cruise experience for our anniversary last year and we were both really looking forward to it. It didn't disappoint at all!! We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco (which wasn't like fizzy water, as some are), a delicious three course meal, (wine of course was extra) coffee and super jazz quintet entertainment. To see familiar landmarks lit up from the Thames, was terrific. There was also the opportunity to dance and go up to the top deck, despite the January chill. We thought the meal was very good, appreciating how hard it is to serve people in a timely way. We would definitely recommend this cruise to London and jazz lovers, we had a wonderful evening, thank you!

Quite average.
Personally me , wouldn’t recommend, when we booked we were told we could request window seat , that wasn’t the case , plus we were seated with other people . We hardly manage to get a day off and organised baby sitter till late . Experience was quite average itself as I did quite few boats before glass room in London and as well couple in Paris and can not compare food and drinks , they are beyond comparison.the only on positive side the drinks menu was much cheaper than on any other experience I did before.so great if you fancy to get drunk .entertainment was quite below average.the view of London was spectacular as always .

Rubbish don’t waste your money poor singer for over an hour the lady that sings in the jazz band eat and drinks for 2 hours then signs a few songs with a 70 year old bloke who’s not interested. Poor food don’t do it I wasted over 200 pound.

ABSOLUTELY MADE OUR WEEKEND
Nov 2019
This trip is absolutely brilliant. From start to finish I find it very difficult to fault it in any way.
First of all the price, £65. Compared to what we paid for other activities in London over the weekend including £30pp for a trip on the underwhelming London eye to paying over £150 to go to watch the NFL in Wembley, I certainly felt like I got the most value for my money on this trip.
The Food: The food was really excellent. I'm no la-de-da kind of person but I was so impressed by the quality of food. The starter was sitting on the table when we boarded, where we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine & escorted to our table. It was a plate of mixed cold meats, olives, salad, potatoes & dips. Gorgeous. Main course was chicken & ratatouille. I can't remember what we had for dessert but all I know is I scoffed it down.
Drinks: The drinks prices were also cheaper than any bar we were in for our whole trip. Great selection of wines & spirits. We got through two bottles of a South African house red which was £20 a bottle & the cheapest on the menu. Our waiter did recommend other more expensive options when we were ordering our second bottle but we were happy enough with what we had, kindly declined & felt under no obligation to go with his recommendation at all. Later in the night the staff make a trip around the tables with a tray of a selection of spirits & mixers where you can purchase direct from them. Again no obligation at all if thats not your cup of tea.
The Band/music: My first experience of Jazz. With the band playing within minutes of getting on & they didn't stop until the trip was over bar for a short 15 minute interval in the middle. The music was so chilled and gave the whole place such a lovely mood whilst we ate & then after dinner I was able to sit back & listen in between conversation. We were right near the front but were still able to enjoy conversation without having to shout over each other. It really was great.
The views: On the top deck we had loads of chances for pictures. We took some lovely ones of the boat passing under Tower Bridge. The top deck was open the whole trip & given the time of year (November) we were so lucky in that we got lovely mild, dry weather. I could have stayed up there the whole night only that you would miss the lovely music being played by the band downstairs.
The staff: Very pleasant, from the gentleman on the pier guiding guests in the correct direction of the boat, to the waiters, the band all lovely & mannerly. If we ever needed anything, more drinks there was always someone nearby who was constantly scanning the room to help you. At the end of the night they bring you the bill & I was able to pay by card. All very handy and organised.

There was a lovely mood through out the whole trip even though it was rather quiet. half full at best.

If I were to pick one thing out as a criticism, then it would be the that the hand driers in the gents are absolutely filthy, and I mean FILTHY. Its just as well they were Dyson air dryers so you can still dry your hands without having to touch them. But this is such a petty point I hate to even mention it but come on, nothing a bit of a wipe with bleach & water can't fix.

Underwhelming
Oct 2019 • Couples
Tables fixed to floor and very close together, certainly advantageous in terms of maximising capacity and profit for the operator but not from a customer point of view.

Glass of Prosecco on arrival was OK as was the charcuterie starter, vegetarian opinion of butternut squash and feta salad very average indeed. Mains were poor - dry and flavourless chicken breast with a little ratatouille style veg cooked in tomato soup (?) and the veg option was reminiscent of a using up what’s left in the veg draw of the fridge and adding a can of creamy soup and popping in the oven hoping for the best - which it was not.

Dessert was creme brûlée cheesecake with berries - very average.

Necessary safety briefing at the start could not be heard over noise of people talking and so was pointless. Music and general ambience very average. Acoustics poor.
Before we set off ladies loo had no paper in two of the 3 cubicles - which was, to be fair immediately rectified - but should have been checked prior to people embarking.

When we asked a waiter if we could order drinks the response was ‘yeah what do you want’ - I believe this was more poor training & inexperience than rudeness. House wine ordered was poor, I didn’t order a another.

View of London landmarks from top open deck was fabulous, albeit chilly but that’s beyond operators control.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my partner and it was a real disappointment. SUzNot recommended I’m afraid.

JAZZ ON THE RIVER
Aug 2019
The boat left from Westminster Pier once we had boarded and taken our seats. Food was pre-order prior to the trip and starters were already laid out on the tables and the quality and quantity was good. The music from a jazz trio commenced after about 15 minutes and was middle of the road music which can be enjoyed by most people, they were joined by a good girl singer who accompanied them most of the time. There was a small dance floor next to the band for those who wanted to move about as we did.
Main course was served after we stopped at Tower Pier to take on the food, we then went downriver to the Greenwich area and enjoyed the sights, food and music.
Sweat was then served and we disembarked about 10.30 pm.
