My 18 year old daughter and I did the 4 hour tour of the highlights if London, Matt was charming and knowledgeable, getting the balance of fact and fun just right. We had the most marvellous tour and would highly recommend it

When I arrived to meet my driver, he was obliging a gentleman fascinated with the Mini Cooper and taking some photos of him sitting in Agnes and standing proudly beside her. I've been in love with Mini Coopers since watching Basil Fawlty folding himself into his Mini. When searching for a London tour for myself, it didn't take me long to decide upon Small Car BIG CITY. Agnes was indeed a beauty, gorgeous emerald green with an impeccably maintained beige and green interior and she drew attention everywhere we stopped. I admitted well into our time together that in the past, I've been an anxious passenger, but I was perfectly comfortable tooling around the city, getting into spots bigger vehicles would never have made. My guide was so amazingly knowledgeable about the city (had I shut up and let him talk more, I'd have learned more). I'd written via email as I was beginning to plan my tour and initially had some very specific items I was interested in including. As it turned out, when it came time to leave on vacation, I had not looked back at my list. I felt that the tour I was given was very specific to my interests and also included super stops I'd not have considered. My driver very quickly picked up on what would not mean so much to me -- that row of shops where if you have to ask the price, you can't afford to go in there. I loved the history I picked up along the tour, felt the stops we made were just right -- including a stop at the chemist so I could replenish my host's cold medicine I'd been using up! I felt perfectly comfortable with my guide -- felt like going for a drive with an old friend. I'd specifically wanted to take him to a typical pub lunch and he chose the oldest pub on the river, The Prospect of Whitby, where I had my first fish and chips since arriving several days earlier. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend Small Car BIG CITY and don't be afraid to reach out to them via email as you're planning. I could not have been treated better and my tour was definitely the highlight of my trip to England.

Such a fantastic time exploring London with Small Car Big City! Our driver Chris was awesome and took us to all the major landmarks plus some hidden gems. Chris was so knowledgeable about the city and also entertained us with Garry Potter trivia and Paddington fun facts, I would definitely come back for one of Chris’s tours — he does Harry Potter tours and Paddington themed tours that sound incredible. Plus tooling around London in a Mini Cooper is a unique and eye catching way to see the city. We got a ton of fabulous pictures even better memories. Our girls trip had six so we took two cars and everyone loved it!

My husband, his friend, and I had the best experience seeing London via a Mini Cooper! First, my husband and his friend are tall men and I booked the half day tour. When the mini pulled up, they were stunned. The driver was just as tall as them. After several jokes, we all climbed in and fit well. We were all comfortable, our guide Matt Flynn was fantastic, and I feel like we were able see most of London. It was a truly amazing tour which we would all highly recommend!

I am so sorry this review is late but time ran away with me. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of London with Sean. It was great to do something different. Sean was very friendly and informative. Would highly recommend.

We had a great evening zipping around London and Sean we a great guide keeping us informed and entertained throughout. The experience of nipping around the sights of London in the evening is great and the little car certainly gets plenty of admiring glances along the route. Given it’s (and our) age the car is really comfortable, getting in and out multiple times added to the fun. Out only gripe was with the content of the tour we were on, we picked the Cops, Robbers - True Crime tour and felt it didn’t quite meet the brief, it was more like a general tour of central London with some historic facts thrown in, it felt a little lacking on the crime and seedy side of London that we had hoped for. I would 100% recommend Small Car Big City but maybe not the tour we chose.

This was the absolute best way to see London and all of her many treasures. Chris went above and beyond to make our BFF girls trip the best one yet. So much so we added on time, just to hear more of his witty dad jokes. Traveling London in this beautiful classic Mini C made us feel like rockstars and a tourist attraction all in one. We were warned this would be the best tour of London and Ada the Mini Mayfair and Chris her driver certainly delivered. If you have seen London from all angles before, try zipping around in a mini for a different view. Thanks Ada and Chris, back next time for the mothers ruin gin tour😊

This was my 2nd tour and was just as great as the first time back in May. Highly recommended! We spent 4 hours this time and saw so much and learned so much from Nick. Definitely ask for Nick, he was amazing.

This company is top notch. It was exactly as advertised and we were picked up from our hotel-door to door service. Our driver Rhiannon was punctual, knowledgeable, and a fantastic driver. We took photos with our classic Mini car name Ada, and it was an absolute thrill to toodle around the city. Rhiannon told us details of the city that we did not know about, and she made stops for us to have a walkabout. Complimentary water was available. The sights especially driving down The Mall was exhilarating! The open sunroof lent itself to taking photos of Big Ben, House of Commons, Westminister Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Burlington Arcade, Waterloo station & the Graffiti tunnel under the station, and much more. Rhiannon made us feel welcomed, and she and the car ride was a definite highlight of our trip to London. Highly recommend! To note: I was able to get into the back seat easily, but those with mobility issues might not be able to do this maneuver. Best to discuss before renting. Thank you for making our time unique and special.
