- 0 contributionsTour Name: Best of Royal London, including Tower of London and Westminster Walk Option Selected: With Opening Ceremony,Absolutely fantastic experience with Lee as our tour guide in London! From the moment we met, Lee was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the city's history and landmarks. We had a family group, including a 10-month-old baby, and Lee made sure the tour was comfortable and engaging for everyone. Lee's storytelling was captivating! He had a way of bringing London's history to life in a fun and interactive way, which made the tour not only educational but also really entertaining. We felt so well taken care of and never rushed. Lee's passion for London shone through in everything he did. Whether it was explaining the significance of a historical site or offering personalized recommendations for the rest of our trip, Lee went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Highly recommend Lee if you're looking for a fantastic, family-friendly tour guide in London! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.Written 19 March 2025

- Curious325630639290 contributionsBad experienceNever found my tourist guide, I sent messages, emails and got no response when needed. There was another person at the venue who also didn’t find the tour guide so we had to go by ourselves and lost the money. Later, I got an answer from Facebook team saying that I couldn’t catch up the current group but could reschedule for next week because there were no refunds. Unfortunately I was leaving town that weekend. I definitely encourage the team to have a better communication with us because most of us are foreigns and might find difficult finding the tour guide if there isn’t any big sign or calling by phone. Internet communication would be best.Written 12 March 2025

We were in good hands from the meeting point. No questions were left unanswered. Our guide Steph was a convinced Harry Potter fan and provided us with a lot of background knowledge. She also willingly let our daughter pester her and engage her in Harry Potter-related discussions. We received tickets for the return journey right at the beginning, so that after the tour we were able to use the entire opening hours for ourselves. The day was exhausting, but extremely entertaining and impressive. You can understand exactly why film productions are so expensive. The sets are definitely worth a visit. We are completely delighted with the facility, and even if the price made us swallow when we booked, you can't say it wasn't reasonable.

City Wonders only "delivers" people to the Warner Bros guides but they were organized and clear on their instructions upon meeting and were with us all the way to the Warner Bros.
Once in Warner Bros, we got handed over to our studio guides which then split the group to reasonable size (maxs 8 as indicated in the trip advertisement). Our guide (Alex M.) was very good and knowledgeable. He knew lots of production information, clarified small details from the film and explain facts that I would never had guessed by my own. After the guided tour, the guides let you back in again so you can explore and check in more detail your favourite parts (that you could not do during the guided tour as in a guided tour you won't have the time to stand on some lines for special CGI photos/videos since guides need to follow a pace to be able to finish according to the planned time).
Overall, I recommend the overall tour and especially the guided tour at Warner Bros Studios. This last one is really important if you want to get all the info/details/secrets from Harry Potter movies production and filming.

The guided Harry Potter tour was an unforgettable experience for me. 8 people are accompanied by an employee throughout the entire tour. When I was there, the train, which is included in the price, was cancelled. We then had to take a taxi to Warner Brothers. The good thing about it - if you ask for the receipt, you will be refunded. The gentleman who showed me and my group around was very friendly and told us a lot about the tour. Since he was able to get behind the barrier, he also showed us books, Hagrid's hand and much more up close and explained them. Little insights that you don't get with a normal ticket. So I found the tour and the price more than just reasonable. Halfway through the tour you can take a break and have something to eat/drink. When the tour is over, you still have the opportunity to go through on your own a second time. If you decide to leave, you get a train ticket and an assigned bus. So you take the bus to the station and then use this ticket to go back to where you met at the beginning. I recommend wearing good shoes and if you are there in autumn/winter, enough warm clothing (small outdoor area). I am looking forward to going again to experience the tour again with my friends.

The tour and the guide were very good, but overall for the $$, I expected better transportation. You take the city train from London to the bus, which is just a simple cheap train ticket and then bus fare. Once the tour is over you are on your own to get the train back to London, which when you have steady delays, strikes and cancellations, you can easily be waiting an hour for a train back. It was frustrating to watch other tour groups just hop on a bus and be back in London by the time my train arrived. And I know my tickets cost more. The studio is so full of information that the guide is nice, but not 100% needed. Many with small children abandoned the tour early so they could just run around at their own pace. If I had to do it again, I would have done a tour with transportation to and from London and didn’t have a guided tour. It’s good and informative, but just not worth and extra $100 per person.

This tour is a must do for any Harry Potter fan. After meeting our guide, she took us on the train and bus transfer to the studio, showed us how to return on our own, then handed us over to the studio tour guides. Our group only had 6 people, so it was very small and personalized. The tour was about 4 hours, which included a 45 minute break at the cafe. We learned so many insights from our guide that we felt it was worth the value. He kept us moving during the tour but afterwards we were given the opportunity to reenter, which we did to take a few more photos. In total, we spent over 6 hours on this tour.

City wonders made this very easy to be transported to/from the studios which was great when you're not used to navigating London. You show up at a meeting point outside of the train station & our guide lead us directly onto the train, then got us off of the train & out of the station onto the studio shuttle bus and directly to the studio tour and handed us over to the studio guides and gave us return train tickets & clear instructions on how to get back to the starting point. It was very easy…
The tour itself was phenomenal. Lots of walking and on your feet for hours so wear comfy shoes. 10/10 recommend for Potter fans. This would have not been as unique of an experience self guided. Definitely worth the money to have someone guide you and explain/show you extra details about the films… and after the tour you have the option to go back through again since the guide doesn’t have time to show you everything- only the highlights… so u can go back to see stuff yourself if u choose to.

Basically just a mark up of tickets sold by the studio. “Guide” wasted a lot of time trying to find tickets and customers, handed us off to another company once we got to the studio. Immediately separated from those guides and never saw them again.

Hello Dave L,
Thank you for reviewing the Fully Guided Tour of Warner Bros Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. We regret to hear that your experience did not meet expectations and that you felt the organization was lacking. We are known for seamless and detailed coordination around the world, and it’s clear we fell short in this instance.
Our guided tours include dedicated hosts to assist during transfers and arrival at the studios, after which guests begin the self-guided Studio Tour experience. That said, there should have been a smoother handover and continued support, and we are following up directly with our guide management and coordination teams to ensure this is addressed.
We greatly appreciate your constructive feedback and would love to accommodate you further on a future experience if you’re willing to provide any additional details via email, social media, or chat. Please feel free to reach out to us @citywonderstours or on our official City Wonders Facebook page.
Warm Regards,
City Wonders

This tour exceeded my expectations. The transfer from Euston Station to the studio was efficient. Being on the tour allowed us to have our own private guide during the tour rather than renting an audio guide or wandering on one's own. The display of sets, costumes, props, special effects, and so on was impressive, and the guide provided many insights and anecdotes about all aspects of the making of the HP films. He was friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. One has the option of staying on after the guided tour, since the tour doesn't close until 8 pm in the winter and 10 pm in the summer, with shuttle buses continuing to take people back to the train station. In all, it was a wonderful day.

Getting to Euston station is simple and we found the tour group easily even though there was construction around the monument. It was a quick 15 minute train ride and then we hopped on a 15 minute bus ride to the studios. Once we arrive we were introduced to our Harry Potter tour guide. Our guide, Emily, was darling and gave us so much inside information about Harry Potter and the exhibits. She also showed us special props up close and gave enough information without boring anyone in our group. We had my mother (70), me (41), and my two children (14 and 11). The tour is 4 hours with a break in the middle. I was glad we packed food because the lines were too long for us to get food during this break. After we finished with the guide we were allowed back into the tour area so we could do the things we didn’t have time to do with our. In all we spent about 6 hours and 30 minutes at the studio. You can stay as long as you want as you make your way back to London on your own. Note that in the evening the shuttle back to the train station can get crowded but they do come about every 10 minutes.

Where exactly is the redemption point at Euston train staion for the Fully Guided Tour of Warner Bros Studio Tour London ‒ The Making of Harry Potter ?
Thanks a lot for the input to my last question.

We were on the 9:30 am tour and were told to meet under the arrivals board between platforms 8 and 9 in Euston station. (This is in the entrance lobby; do not head down toward the platforms.) The guide showed up 30 minutes early and was holding a flag with the name of the tour company on it.

Hi, at what times does the train leave back to London in the afternoon?
We start at 9:15 in the morning and I guess we can go back after the 3h. tour immediatly or stay some time and leave later on.
Written 30 September 2019
You can ask your tour guide when the last train is. When you are ready to leave the tour, the bus will take you directly to the station. When you get to the station, ask at the information desk which platform the “fast” train is to Euston station. It has fewer stops and will get you there quicker. The trains were running every 20-30 minutes when I was there. Have fun!

Is it possible to take a private car (be dropped of) at the Studio for the fully guided tour? If so, how we book tickets (I don't see that as an option?)
Written 27 August 2019
Yes you can arrange your own transportation and join the tour directly. Would recommend purchasing your tickets in advance directly from the studio - they offer open tickets and guided tours - google search this term for the official site wbstudiotours

Can you take a private car, or do you have to use the transportation?
Written 27 August 2019
You can drive there and park if you want. We met in London, and since we didn't have a car, took the train and their shuttle. But you could meet your guide there, I believe.
