    Excellent tour!
Enjoyed this tour every minute . Alex is so knowledgeable about art history, he is phenomenal, a great asset to your company. We really appreciate the fact that the tour is semi private with maximum of 8 people, it turned out only 2 of us for the day because January is low season for travelers. Alex was very kind , detailed and thorough with us. We learned a lot, gained knowledge during our 2.5 hour tour, what a great experience! Thanks to Alex with great appreciation! Best, Mandy XY Zhang

Our amazing guide Ivo made the tour awesome!
We spent the morning with our guide Ivo who was amazing and knew so much. He got along great with our kids especially our son who has a very good knowledge of the natural world and could answer all of his questions. Would highly recommend him and this tour. 10/10

    James the guide
James was an awesome guide! He chose the popular things to see but also artifacts he really liked. His wealth of knowledge about the museum history and art was incredible! He was also very easy to talk to about anything and everything. He even offered help or suggestions on other sites around London. HIGHLY recommend James!

A few hours revisiting Earth history
The museum is an excellent facility with an amazing collection but the difference was made by our tour guide - Ivo - who managed to bring into the conversation not only his personal views and research but also discuss concepts and research points that are recent.

Informative and engaging small-group tour of the British Museum
Sheldon delivered a fantastic tour of the British Museum today. I have visited the museum many times and every time I got overwhelmed and basically gave up after an hour. I spent 3 hours with Sheldon and another family and time flew. I left the museum feeling that I had learnt so much about the fascinating history of the museum and of the wonderful and diverse pieces that Sheldon showed us. Sheldon is a historian that communicates extremely well information and passion for history and art. I did not even notice the many other tourists roaming through the museum. It truly felt like I was there just with my small group. I am booking my tour of the National Gallery with Sheldon next.

    Wonderful tour guide
We had a tour of the natural history museum on a busy Saturday and our tour guide Ivo did an amazing job of making sure we got to see as much as possible whilst navigating the crowds. He made sure we were able to see all of the museums main highlights and kept everything incredibly engaging, whilst being able to answer any of our questions. He was very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to be around, thank you Ivo! 🤗

    Excellent!
Our tour guide Matilda was cheerful, friendly and very knowledgeable. She helped us to make the most of our limited time at the museum, by showing us some of the significant highlights and guiding us through the various galleries. Afterwards we were able to do a little more browsing on our own in the areas that were of most interest to us.

Easy and terrific experience - do not miss
Easy to book, easy to find the fabulous guide Matilda. With so much to see and so many museums to see in London, we chose this tour for maximum effect. Boy did Matilda our terrific tour guide deliver on maximum effect. She got us in to both museums easily, directed us and thoroughly explained the highlights of each piece in each museum. Her patience and knowledge know no bounds. She is terrific with all levels have experience and questions. We were recollecting at the end of the day commenting on what a great job she did explaining these important pieces. We would not have had the same experience if it was not for Matilda. Thank you, Matilda. I highly recommend Matilda in this particular to museum tour well in London. Well worth your time.

A thoughtful and engaging look at the artifacts themselves and England’s imperfect history in acquiring them.
Jake was our tour guide for our family of 5 and another family of 3. We were all older teens and parents. It is an incredible tour, especially when you only have 2 1/2 hours for the whole museum (that you could spend days in). He basically took us through the development of human history with a balanced and thoughtful view on British Imperialism and its role in the museum artifacts itself. I highly recommend, but it is a rapid-paced tour, so prepare to be mesmerized, intrigued and TIRED.

Our tour started at the British Museum and continued on to the National Gallery of London. Becky met us right where she said she would be. This was my third visit to the British Museum but it was by far the best because Becky knew so much history. She led us to different galleries and wove together so many interesting details. We then walked to the National Gallery, stopping for lunch (at our expense) at a lovely lunchroom on the way. Becky is an Art History major and she knew so much, not only of the art collection and artists, but also the history of the building and the gallery itself. We really enjoyed the day and would recommend this to anyone interested in a personal tour of these great facilities.

Our family of four has been touring Paris & London for the past two weeks…and Ellie is by far the best guide we’ve had. While one could spend days in the British Museum, Ellie focused on what she felt were the most interesting and important exhibits, providing a complete, well received overview of each. She’s thoughtful, full of facts (interesting and fun), knows her history, happy to answer questions, is easy to listen to, et all. Thank you Ellie for holding the interest of our teen age children for the full 2.5+ hrs. It takes someone special to do that!

Luis was an outstanding guide. The British Museum and National Gallery were both incredible, but it wouldn't have been the same without Luis taking us to the best parts of each and giving us in-depth background on what we were seeing. He was very friendly, and overall our experience was top-notch.

Fascinating guided tour of the British Museum and National Gallery of London For us we find the best way to see a museum is with a Guide. Jake was our knowledgeable guide! We were quite impressed with the art in these museums, but listening to Jake tell us the history behind some of the art was Priceless! Highly recommend this tour

Great time with our guide, Ivo. Very knowledgeable across a number of subjects, gave us a broad survey of various areas of the British Museum. Was a pleasure to talk with, answered the kids questions readily, even on things he wasn’t planning to guide us on. Also wasn’t rushing out at the end and took a couple extra minutes with us. Overall great experience.

We had a wonderful tour of the British Museum and the National Gallery by Mathilda. She was very well informed, personable and spoke with passion and interest. Both venues have so much to see but Mathilda gave us a good overview and then focused with great knowledge on many key parts of both. We recommend the tour and Mathilda as a guide!

Tony, a professional historian and published author, led my private Babylon tour of the British Museum and National Gallery. I am entirely satisfied and would hire Tony and Babylon again. His personal qualities as a guide are remarkable. He was punctual, prepared, pleasant, engaging and clearly passionate about his work. The tour was as lively and entertaining as it was insightful and educational. He gave a 100% effort. What stands out for me is the power of his presence and the dynamism of his delivery. He created a tour experience that unfolded like a series of mysteries that he went about resolving as we moved from choicest piece to choicest piece. It was a tour of discovery and I came away understanding how everyday people lived, as well as kings and queens. He has a knack for seeing and communicating interrelationships between the different pieces we saw, and the people who made them, so that, as we crossed periods of history and civilizations, the whole of each museum hung together as a unified harmony that made sense. His delivery reminded me of the very best theatre experiences I've had around the world, that's how captivated I was. I experienced nearly the full range of human emotions, even becoming tearful at times, the experience was so impactful. Tony makes history come alive! This is my second Babylon tour in 2018 and I found the quality to be consistent.
