Stop at St. James’ Palace, which has played host to iconic royals including Princess Diana and Anne Boleyn, before you continue into St. James’ Park—a green lung formerly home to the Royal Zoo. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful St. James’s Park to an elegant venue, where you enjoy afternoon tea. On arrival, the staff presents you with a delectable spread of dainty finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, and homemade preserves, freshly made cakes, and pastries, and a selection of tea.

Experience of a lifetime
Aug 2019 • Family
Do not miss the opportunity to tour the state rooms of Buckingham Palace. From the art, to the furnishings and a walk through royal history it was amazing! Good for kids as well. Took my 9 year old son who was equally impressed.

Royal day out
Sep 2019
Well worth the cost. Booked on line very easily. Pack your walking shoes, very interesting to see in real life. Art, History and exposure to the culture. Bonus a tea garden undercover and souvenirs shop a short walk away on you way out. Great day out followed by visit to royal mews. Also great.

Not a good tour
Aug 2019 • Couples
We did the tour this morning. We had a guide who mostly spoke about where to stand. We watched the changing of the guards among the packed mall with very little/poor input from the guide. Lacked detail, content and interest. Much too expensive for the price we paid

Dear Anne B, Thank you for leaving City Wonders your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you felt that your tour was not worthwhile. For this tour generally speaking the guide should position you in the best possible position to enjoy the Changing of the Guard, as well as providing insightful commentary, and we are deeply disappointed that you felt that was not the case. We always pride ourselves in having passionate guides who can bring something to the experience, and so we are very sad to hear this. We would be grateful if you could contact us by email at info@citywonders.com with more information about what you felt was lacking in the tour, as well as your booking reference number and the name of your guide. We would like to investigate the matter and offer possible solutions. Thank you for your understanding. Best Wishes, Kevin City Wonders Team

Great Walking Tour Plus Buckingham Palace
I'm glad we went with this tour instead of just the Buckingham Palace entrance. Our tour guide Robert was incredibly knowledgeable. He gave a humorous overview of English history while pointing out important landmarks as we walked for 30 mins between the Duke of York column and Buckingham Palace. Then he helped us all get into Buckingham Palace where we did the standard walking tour with audio guide like everyone else. It was mid September on a Friday and the lines were practically non-existent. We had a good time.
