    Highly Recommend
I live in London and have the Historical Palaces Pass so I may have the pleasure of visiting the Tower and other palaces at my leisure. The Tower is closest to me, so I do visit often. I enjoy the grounds and the history. I love listening to the tourists as they speak of the history they are learning .. because of this, each visit is so different. A must visit for every visitor to England. Highly recommend the Historical Palaces Pass.

    The “Jewels” in the Tower
Going to The Tower of London to see the Crown Jewels has been on my bucket list forever. Even though I was born in England, it was a place I never got to see before I emigrated to Canada. Finally, at 65, I got the chance to tick off this item on my bucket list. It was everything I expected and more. It was a wet, dreary day, Mothers Day in England, so those two things kept the crowds away, and we got to experience the Tower in all its glory and gore without being mobbed or having to queue to get in. There is a lot to see there, allow yourself a whole day to see it all. Various tours are available, accompanied by the Tower Wardens (Beefeaters if you’re an ex-Brit like me!) in their famous uniforms. You can pre-book tours online if you know exactly when you’re going to be there. The “Crown Jewels” are worth waiting to see…although we didn’t have to! They’re dazzling and sparkling and reek of history. There are many historical crowns, or the remains of them, going back through centuries of England’s Kings and Queens. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to see such an historical part of England’s past…it makes the history books much more real!

    Best tour
We had an excellent guide named Ben and it really was a standout tour for us. So much to see and really is the No 1 tour to do. Wear comfortable shoes - there are cobblestones! There is loads of space for everyone and a massive restaurant onsite so room for everyone. Early morning is the best time to do the tour before the crowds start rolling in - definitely a tour to do and we were so lucky with the weather too!

    Interesting Visit
A very interesting place, We just guided ourselves round with the map from the entrance and available information and found this to be great. Go at your own pace in any order. Good variety of displays.

    Crown Jewels on Display
We used the London Pass to go to the Tower of London and explore on our own time. We were lucky and had no crowds or queues. The crown jewels was the highlight.

    Going back in time
A great place to visit but a lot of the sights are not accessible if you are with someone who is reliant on a walker/wheelchair. Meal at cafe was very nice.

    Loved it!
A tourist attraction everyone should definitely visit! Only downside was how busy it was but that’s what I get for going during spring break. The entire castle/tower was super cool and interesting!

Time consuming. After the Crown Jewels and the Two Brothers in the Tower, there's a drop off
Because it's the area is quite expansive, it's one of those attractions where there's something for everyone that's into medieval history. There's the jewels, weapons, wildlife (ravens), paintings, armor, beefeaters marching, etc. Personally, though it's highly rated, I wouldn't necessarily say it's a must-do since it can eat up a lot of your day if you are short on time and with the exception of the jewels (and possibly the story of the Two Princes in the tower) I didn't really get blown away by anything that I wouldn't find in a museum some place else.

A very interesting morning spent at the Tower!
We recently visited the Tower of London and enjoyed our morning. Lots to see and a large place to visit. Tickets are pricey but you could easily spend 2-3 hours or more if you took your time and visited every part of the Tower complex. Loved the ravens who all have their own names and own personalities!

    Interesting and historical experience
So much history. The Beefeater tour was fabulous. The Crown Jewels were jaw dropping and the fact that you are standing by a 1000 year old fortress is mind blowing. Loved it all.

Takes you back to British history
It was good to learn about the significance of this monument in the British history while touring this place. It's quite a large place and can take time to cover the entire thing. Do wear comfortable shoes for the same.

    Amazing Tour Guide, Beautiful Grounds
Unbelievable tour guide! Cannot remember his name but I think it was Hyde? He has two daughters that live on the grounds. He had our group laughing the whole hour and was so knowledgeable. We did the 10:00 am tour on March 1st. Took another 1.5 hours to walk the grounds after our guided tour. Great experience!

Great Yeoman tour and fascinating history
The tour with Yeoman Warden Darren Hardy was excellent! He told many stories of the tower in a very amusing fashion, though I expect some of the kids may have nightmares! The tour was very useful for learning the history of the Tower and the lay of the land without having to pay for an extra guide. It ends right on the green, and the guard was changing right when our tour ended so we got to see that as well--the tour was from 2 to 3. It was right by the crown jewels which were an awesome (in the literal sense) experience, although it does make one reflect on just how much wealth has been looted from the British people and British colonial possessions for the benefit of a wealthy few. Would recommend arriving on the half hour for the Yeoman tour. You could probably spend all day at the tower but give yourself at least two hours at a minimum--an hour for the Yeoman tour, plus seeing the other sights.

Tour Tower of London with Family Audio Tour
We did the Family guided tour and had a wonderful time. The children narrating the tour were very entertaining. The family there did not include certain portions, but we were able to see those on our own anyway. Would recommend the Family Audio guides for any families with young children.

Wonderful tour at the Tower today. Staff were friendly and informative and our guide Yeoman Warder Scott Kelly (aka #Beefy409) was amazing. Funny, informative and wonderfully engaging. I’ve lived in London and visited many, many times and always avoided the Tower, thinking it would be a tourist hell. Couldn’t believe how beautiful and interesting it is. The annual Royal Palace membership is excellent value and we will definitely be back. Thank you! S Mc.

Our tour guide (Mark or Mike. Sorry its been a long day so can't remember which) was fantastic. So informative. I don't know how he remembers all the information. Very funny too. I recommend going on one of the tours instead of just going around it on your own

Surprisingly enjoyable experience. Special thanks to the Beefeater guide (I think his name was Wayne? 🙈), who was hilarious. Loved it. Bigger groups were blocking narrow corridors, so patience with those … or if possible - Avoid! 😅 But that’s London, I guess.

A special 50th celebration for my veteran husbands day. This was a must see for us, who enjoys watching the tower of London on t.v. We throughly enjoy our day with Simon as our beefeater. He was very informative and held the crowds attention through knowledgable stories and added humor. The facts from the Yeomen warders is what makes this place special, you bring the experience alive, so a special thank you to you all. The exhibits are amazing and so are the crown jewels. But yourselves and the guards and all the staff make it a must see.
