Not very traveler friendly during Covid pandemic! In December 2019 I purchased the 6 day London Pass for 2 adults (so over $300) for a trip planned in March 2020 (husband's bday present). We arrived in London on March 12 and on the 13th used our passes for the two day bus tour and London Tower jail tour. That evening we learned we had to leave on Sunday as there was a travel ban taking effect on Monday and we needed to make sure we could get home to our kids.
As soon as we got home I contacted London Pass customer service and asked if there was anything they could do - I recognize we used the pass for TWO attractions but over $300 was a bit of a loss. They finally offered us two complimentary 5 day Go City passes to use before March 2021. I rebooked our travel for November 2020 thinking we should be able to go then and enjoy the rest of the vacation. Nope - had to cancel again as there is still a travel ban in place and attractions are closed. I contacted customer service again and was told they wouldn't do anything. I had to use by March 2021 or I was out. Unfortunately, I have a trip planned with my elderly father to Italy to see his family's home country that month so I really cannot swing both. They would not even extend it to November 2021 when I could feasibly try another international trip. Very disappointed in the service as Covid travel is out of my control and the company made quite a profit from this. It makes me question when they complain about lack of funds - did you not just keep everyone's money anyway??

This "sounded" like a great idea as we were only going to be i London for a few days. First there is no way you can see all of these things, London his huge and what they don't tell you is you are sort of "after" the regular ticket holders and many places don't take any more tickets or passes even an hour and a half before closing (looking at you Westminster Abbey"). And you might be all the way over by Westminster Abbey and can't get in and then try to go to Houses of Parliament (because you are right there) but they don't take the pass. But since you spent all that money on the pass you want to get some more use out of it and just end up riding the double decker bus awhile longer. Plus both the British Museum and Art Museum on Trafalgar Square are free anyway. Just get a bus pass and get to popular spots VERY early - Tower of London, Westminster Abbey.

We purchased the London Pass and the Oyster Card for the London trip in October 2019. So we expected to visit several places and used the underground or the train for the transportation by using the Pass and the Card to save money. To be extremely disappointed, the Oyster Card was useless from the get-go and we had to buy tickets for the underground or the train whenever we needed it. We could not even manage to get into a handful places with the Pass due to long waiting lines and early closing hours. We could not ride the Hop-on Hop-off due to the street closure caused by the street demonstration. In the end we received little benefits from the London Pass or the Oyster Card. Worst of all we have nobody or nowhere to registered our complaints while in London. As a result, London became the worst city I have visited in my entire European trip. We feel like being cheated by a scam and will not trust these products in the future. Shame on the London Pass and the Oyster Card!!!

Truth to be told, London pass will not save you money. However, what it will do is give you peace of mind and assurance that you will get inside what you are planning to go and see. We planned ahead and pin pointed what places we wanted to see. Then we look in the list of the places inclusive within and decided it was worth the squeeze.

However, I think it would be better to have the ability to be flexible when trying to purchase multiple days but not consecutive.

Pass not yet been used. Am trying to make an itinerary for our visit to London in August. However, there are certain attractions, such as The Postal Museum which on their website says pre-booking required. With the London Pass you can't book in advance and get told to check if any places are available on the day! This is very frustrating as I can see on their website plenty of places available at present for the time we want but I have no doubt they will all be gone by the time we plan to visit.
I think we would have been better off not buying this pass and paying and booking separately for everything we want to visit. At least doing this would avoid a great deal of possible disappointment.

We purchased 2 of the 2 day passes with the travel pass, and I have to say that the value you get from these are incredible. We probably saved a total of 40£ each by buying this pass. The Oyster card was loaded with 15£ and you might be thinking that the advertised all day travel might be false, but it’s actually true since you’re not charged for any tube fares after the 3rd trip in zones 1-2...which basically amounts to all you can travel for both days. Definitely purchase this if going to London as long as you can hit a bunch of the attractions, and definitely use the app or guide book to help plan out your trip like we did.

We got a 3 Day London Pass that we used from January 24th, 2020 To Jan 26th, 2020. The pass cost about $300 for 2 people. So you need to make sure that you pay at least $150 per person in fees to break even. The London Pass also allows you to skip the ticket booth and enter most attractions directly. Many gift shops offer a discount to London Pass holders. We spent about $200 per person in attractions so it saves us time and $50. Every place we visited was more than happy to accept the London Pass. We recommend it.

I purchased the passes in Feb 2020 for an anticipated trip in July 2020, When covid was still in full swing we could not travel then but when I called, I was assured that we could use the passes for 2 more years. We booked our trip for April 2022 which was the soonest travel was allowed. I am now finding out the passes expire in Feb 2022. I have contacted London Pass via email twice to see if they will extend ours until April 2022. Hopefully they will either reimburse the full price or extend our original passes 6 more weeks out. Has anyone else had this issue?

We got a 10 consecutive day pass for our 4 week stay in London. We meticulously researched and planned our itinerary well before buying the pass and arriving in London, checking websites for opening times and days, as not everything is open every day in winter. We chose our 10 day period and made a list of all the places we wanted to visit on which days. We planned to visit 1 big/expensive place per day or 2-3 smaller/cheaper places. You don't have to cram to get your money's worth. Most attractions cost more than the 18 pounds per day average cost of the pass. We saved over 500GBP each. Plus the discounts at some of the shops and cafes. Winter crowds and wait times are minimal so we had no problem getting into all the places. Getting there before opening time gave us about an hour of crowd free enjoyment. Visiting attractions which are in the same area saved time. I would not suggest getting a preloaded visitor oyster card with the pass. Not necessary. Buy a normal oyster card at the airport. The tube is the quickest way to get to the attractions. The Hop on Hop off bus should not be used as a means of transport between attractions. It is best used as an attraction itself by those who wish to spend a day cruising around taking in the sites and sounds of London. We also waited till 10am to buy our River Roamer ticket with the pass, but discovered this is unecessary as they just scan the London Pass on the Uber boat each time you use it that day, so we wasted some time there. Also, Windsor Castle was meant to be afternoon entry only after 1pm, so we waited until 12:30pm and they let us in anyway. Could have gone earlier. We got to see the main known attractions and also some of the very interesting smaller places which we never would have known about if not for the pass. I highly recommend the 10 day pass for anyone staying longer than 2 weeks.

As long as you don't need to rely on their app functioning properly or care that you may not get the tour you think you are signing up for, this is a good deal. I'm not sure what the advantage was in getting an oyster card from them (and thus paying a premium because you pay for shipping) when you can use apple pay or other apps directly from your phone and get the same "perks". I had to top off the card more than once so it was not "good for the duration of your pass" which was three days worth.
I'd love to tell you what they have to say about their app crashing if you try to open the map or how it always updates when launched (will tie your phone up if you don't have a strong signal) but the only response I got to my email was to say "someone else spoke with you and I'm glad you got your issue resolved" and I can assure you it was not me. I would have also liked to find out why they have tour operators included who don't actually let you book directly (so you can see what you get) but instead require emailing "someone" who makes sure they have your order number and then they, knowing this company doesn't care one bit, gives you a different tour and loads it up with dozens and dozens of people, many of whom don't speak English or lack the physical ability to keep up on a fast paced walking tour. As a result it becomes a slow paced walking tour full of people who talk over the guide while they translate for their friends/family. For the tours that you could book and get confirmation of immediately, those were good and I didn't have to make a reservation to go to Westminster Abbey so that worked well for me.
