Funny, witty and professional

We weren’t too sure what to expect, but we were laughing within the opening 30 seconds of the performance. Talented actors, delivering time perfect lines along with physical prowess. A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon, thank you to all involved.

Amusing, not side-splitting.

We bought bargain-kiosk tickets for Sunday matinee. The theatre is small, but was just under half full. It's comfortable & intimate; no bad views that I could see.

This is part of the,"....Went Wrong," stable, but isn't as funny as the others or the TV show.

It's really just one joke/farce extended for 90 minutes.

The cast is excellent & try their best with often limp material.

It's OK, just OK. Don't spend a fortune.

Amusing Evening

In two minds as to whether to rate as average or good. The cast is clearly very proficient in this production with rapid fire dialogue with an unusual and unique production. The cast work tirelessly to keep the play flowing along. My only issue is that whilst the play was quite funny it didn’t really produce deep laughter, just amusing.

Funny and clever

Saw this play yesterday at criterion theatre London, sat in row D seats 9 10 11 12, excellent seats great view even though sitting a little further back would have been just as good as small theatre and easily heard, loud.
Small cast slapstick comedy, funny laughed a lot, very cleverly scripted and performed.
Excellent timing clever staging and props. I am not normally a fan of this kind of humour, but I laughed a lot and came out of the theatre feeling good with a big smile on my face. Would highly recommend.

From beginning to the end the actors/actresses had the crowds in stitches of laughter. From their witty one liners to there quick puns it was brilliant. The way they used the set was incredible, there is a really clever scene in the second half of the show which was really impressive.Brillant entertainment and would really recommend going to watch.

If you are wondering what show to see in London, this is it.
We saw “The Play that Goes Wrong” on Broadway, so while visiting London, when we learned that the team behind that raucously hilarious farce had another show currently playing in the West End, we got our tickets for a Saturday evening performance. First off, if you are expecting “The Play that Goes Wrong,” change your expectations as this is a totally different show that includes music(!!) and a storyline with character development(!!). I’m not calling TPtGW out on that, I love that show as well, just establishing that this is a different show altogether. The script was hilarious, the sets were nice, and the acting was fantastic - go see this show.

Not as good as the others/ age rating??
Dec 2019
Fabulous sets, great voices, clever scene changes, some good belly laughs
But not as good/ funny as the rest of the stable of shows (Play that goes Wrong, Christmas goes wrong, Peter Pan...)
Also not really age appropriate for 10yr old ("what is 'impotence' ?", "were they really having sex on stage?")
