She put us with an incredible guide named Lee. Lee was friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible to our needs and wants. He made the tour very relaxing and easygoing. He not only delivered on seeing the great spots of London he jumped in and took photos of us there.. I have done many tours around the world but I never had a tour guide go above and beyond as Lee did! He provided lots of tips and suggestions and went out of his way to make sure we could experience a fish and chips dinner in a London Pub that evening. What a great way to start our stay in London! Lee was encyclopedic and kaleidoscopic in his clear love and knowledge of London: her thousands of years of history and her people…all the while smoothly negotiating the wild, crazy and continuously intense crush of city traffic, meticulously avoiding traffic jams, knowing just where to stop for the perfect photo op…we were amazed, breathless and totally relaxed during the entire ride! What’s more, he was genuine in his desire to tailor the tour to our interests…no “one-size-fits-all” this excursion!…and so additional art and gardens were found, great places for desserts, interesting pubs located near attractions we planned to visit. I really could go on, but, I’ll conclude with this final thought: no matter his salary, this witty, brilliant, gracious man deserves a raise…Written 29 May 2024

Our family of 4 did this tour with Glen on our first full day in London and could not recommend it more highly. Glen knew all the best sites, took great family photos of us at each place, provided warm hospitality, and shared history and trivia that made everything even more meaningful. This tour was a great way to see what we wanted to go back to and to get our bearings in the city. We wish Glen could accompany us on the rest of our vacation!

This was such a fabulous activity. We had limited time in London, and with four of us, the cost was not significantly higher than a bus tour, but we got so much more out of this private, customized tour, with emphasis on the sites most interesting to our family. All of the drivers appear to be highly regarded, but may you be as fortunate as we were to have Glen!

Sam was amazing! So much knowledge of the history of the city. We asked for a “splash” of rock & roll on our tour and we were treated to a bunch of cool stops with details about hidden recording studios, guitar shops on Denmark St, and clubs where bands played back in the day. Sam took us to all the photo opp locations. Sam’s historical knowledge about the development of the city was impressive! He kept us entertained during the moments of traffic with details about statues, various buildings and architecture. It was a great experience.

Hi, we did a 4 hour tour of London by taxi with visitlondontaxitours. There are a lot of beautiful tours on offer and we have made a tour completely adapted to us. It was a mix of the classic London Tour and the Instagram Tour. The arrangements in advance by mail with Cheryl were fantastic. She responded promptly to all questions. We only had a very tight time window in London because we had to rely on a cruise ship (Southampton).
The whole tour was awesome. Our driver Adam was amazing, very accommodating and just wonderful. We couldn't have gotten a better one. He drove us to all the destinations we wanted, informed us about London and found even better alternatives to some sights that would have been far away. We have been to Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Peggy Porschen, Piccadilly Circus and much more...
This tour is simply unique and I have already recommended it to people. Thank you for this wonderful experience and special thanks to Cheryl and Adam!!

Andrew took a us on a great 8 hour tour over London. In the morning it was raining, so we were sitting in the car, driving around London's famous places, watching out and listening stories, history about places.
He took us to a great, authentical pub where we had lunch. After lunch the weather became sunny, so we entered to great, hidden places and were walking around. He took a lot great photo of us.
We highly recommend him!!!!!!

We had only an 8 hour layover at Heathrow, but London Taxi Tours made the time memorable. Sam our guide was personable, fun to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable, giving us a British history lesson related to places that we drove by. Even in the short time we had, we were able to see the highlights, as well as a couple of places that we personally requested. It was nice to jump out of the cab and walk a bit at a few of the stops. As the traffic back to the airport was a bit scary, we were relieved to get back with plenty of time to get to our connection.

Our driver Laura was friendly, informative, and very accommodating. Our tour was custom tailored to our interests - a little bit traditional sightseeing, a little bit educational, and all fun and interesting. Laura treated us like friends visiting from out of town. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would definitely take another tour and we highly recommend this type of tour and this tour company.

Favorite part of our tour was our taxi cab and our driver. The car was so cool and clean and our driver felt like an old friend we had not seen in a while. We managed to do a day trip from Paris and got to visit Stonehenge and veiw all the major sites in London including getting authentic fish and chips! We had a wonderful time viewing Buckingham palace and even saw the Royal motorcade. Our driver went above and beyond to make our trip memorable I highly recommend this tour.

I cannot rave about this experience enough. I've told 100 people already! From the first phone call to Cheryl the day before we booked, to the amazing and wonderful attention to detail of our driver, Glen, we thoroughly enjoyed our day. Having lived in London many years ago, now in Australia, I couldn't wait to show my 8 year old daughter London, especially Buckingham Palace. We literally saw everywhere! I was reminded of places I'd been, and learnt way more history and facts than I'd ever known. Many tours into one: classic sights, historical sights, music haunts, and Harry Potter scenes, our tour guide, Glen, was FANTASTIC - he even gave us snacks! So many opportunities to take photos and get dropped off! We thoroughly enjoyed it, and with a young person in tow, it was sight-seeing without wearing out your legs. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT - best value for money!!! Thank you Cheryl and Glen!!

First, Cheryl was amazing to get us a 3 hr tour on such late notice!
Second, Alan was so fabulous and knowlegeable! He sat down with us when he picked us up to kind of get a feel of what we wanted. He delivered! We saw all the hot spots, a few additional spots that were must-sees for us (I won't say what they are, so people don't ask him to do it. HAHA) Old businesses, Jack the Ripper neighborhood and he even got out and walked with us and took our pictures at everything. I just can't say enough about this experience. Please call them and do it, you won't be disappointed!

Hello, I am so sorry, I did not receive notification of this question. We can stop to see a little changing of the guard or we can arrange to pick you up close by after you have watched the full change of the guard. this will give you more time to see all the sites on your taxi tour.
