About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- cammluz0 contributionsDiscouraging ExperienceMy family and I couldn't find where our group or guide was when we arrived at the designated meeting spot, which by the time we checked, it was 7:03PM. There was no description on the booking page that noted we should have arrived perhaps half an hour prior, or if the tour were to start before 7:00PM, since it looked like the tour already began earlier than stated. If only we knew this tour doesn't provide any grace time of a few minutes in case its attendees were still searching for the group, we could have saved our time and money for a more accommodating tour. I'm really disappointed I couldn't experience this tour, and I'm discouraged to book any more from its organizers in the future.Written 13 November 2024

Our group was 16, a variety of ages, mostly couples. Monterey Jack was our tour guide. The group was small enough to hear all of the stories of the shops, and London locations. All of the cheeses were fabulous, the walk never felt hurried or rushed in the stops.

I completed the tour with my friend last Saturday, Natalie ran the tour was EXCEPTIONAL. She was knowledgeable, funny, chatty (and we share the same first name, so clearly onto a winner). If you're after something quirky, love cheese and fancy a glass of prosecco, then I couldn't recommend this tour enough.
Thanks Natalie, you were grate.

My daughter and zi really enjoyed this trip around various cheese emporia around central London. Each one told a different story and each had examples of delicious cheese. I would recommend this to anyone who has a love of cheese and a desire to learn something esoteric about London.

Absolutely superb. We had Jack as the cheese your guide who was fantastic. Great blend of cheese knowledge, literally cheesy jokes and a well placed amble through the West End's cheese highlights (including finishing at Neal's Yard - that alone was worth the tour)! Thoroughly recommended is you love (or even just tolerate) cheese!

I was looking for something slightly different to do whilst staying in London and found this. Who doesn't like cheese. We were 12 people which seemed a large number but worked fine and it was such fun. It took a couple of tastings for us to relax with each other but our guide and his dreadful cheesy jokes which we all learned to join in with broke the ice brilliantly. we learned a lot about the cheeses and where we were in London and the cheese was all delicious. Also visited interesting little stores and were constantly delayed by different people finding other things to try and buy but that wasn't a problem....it happened to us all at some time. Highly recommended.

We were bought this as a Christmas gift and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Despite having lived in London for over 30 years, I learned some new things about the City not to mention places to buy cheese.
Our guide Perla was really knowledgeable and we went to some unusual cheese locations, at each one I tried a cheese I hadn't had before and at one stop we had the unexpected bonus of an extra cheese and a glass of prosecco.
Most of the tastings take place outside on the street so dress for the weather, there is a lot of walking (comfy shoes required) and standing (very few places to sit down) and you are out and about for a couple of hours.
If you like cheese and want to explore London in a different way, then I highly recommend it.

Excellent few hours spent meandering through some of central London’s charming “backwater’s” and sampling a selection of cheeses accompanied by the well informed and amusing Nic. Whilst venues and cheeses were all very worthwhile it was Nic who really made the afternoon with his informed, convivial and inclusive approach. Be prepared for cheesy jokes though. Would highly recommend.

This was a really good afternoon doing something different in London..Nic, was cheerful, knowledgeable and fun. He skilfully manoeuvred our group through crowded, pre-Christmas streets to high-end cheese stores where we tasted top quality cheeses. We live in London and this was an enriching afternoon learning something new. Thank you Nic.

My bestie and I treated ourselves to this cheese crawl and had such fun. Nic was entertaining and engaging, plying us with cheese, puns and interesting facts about the history of cheese and London. Great choice of locations and cheese tasting. Loved the organic prosecco at wholefoods and the competitive team element. A well spent 2.5hrs!

This was remarkably excellent.
I was a bit sceptical going in both about the very cheesy tone (a steady stream of cheese puns from the word go-uda) and the amount of cheese we'd actually get to eat (these sorts of experiences tend to be stingy). But I shouldn't have been.
Jack was a lot more than a series of cheese jokes, he was very knowledgeable about cheese and the areas of London we walked through. The two hours passed quickly and all of our group really enjoyed it. We were also pretty well fed. Several cheese stops and decent tastings each time added up to a fairly filling time. Having not eaten lunch before starting the 12pm tour we just grabbed coffee and a wrap afterwards, and one of the group didn't even feel like that.
Would absolutely recommend. Good for locals and foreigners. The only people I wouldn't recommend it to (other than cheese haters) are people looking for more intellectual/historical walk. Jack knows a lot but the tone is light and it isn't a walking lecture. But it's a lot of fun and pretty interesting (and delicious) to boot.
