Robert was very well versed in the history and culture. He was informative and at the end most helpful in trolling through everyone’s finds. A fabulous couple of hours on the foreshore. Highly recommend

I have wanted to go mudlarking for quite some time and this did not disappoint. It was so much fun and our guide was very knowledgeable.

I went on the Charlie Chaplin Tour on a lovely sunny Autumn day. I enjoyed the afternoon immensely. Robert arrived in a Chaplin costume and led the tour taking us to different historical buildings which played a part in the early life of Charlie Chaplin. Outside each building, Robert gave an interesting talk, describing in graphic detail the traumatic childhood events which led to his final rise to fame in the USA. I hghly recommend this Tour leader as he has a wealth of historical knowledge, which he imparts in a friendly & humourous way. He also carries a mic so that his talks can be clearly heard by all.

I have done a few DAY TRIP BY COACH with CULTURE SEEKERS organised by ROB - I visited the COSTWOLDS - HERTFORSHIRE- EAST SUSSEX etc Everytime I had a wonderfull time - It was on time, the coach confortable and Rob was very attentive to everyone needs and was very caring to all. He is very knowledgeable and has some fun facts on the way. I have also done some TREASURE HUNT : really good fun and so well organised! I came solo and felt safe and welcome - I highly recommend this trips out of London and Tours in London. Rob, the organiser is full of anecdotes and very caring of his guests.

After a quick guide on what to look out for, we spent 2-hours combing the Thames foreshore before Robert (our guide) gave all our finds some historical context. Would recommend this to anyone interested in London's history because the Thames has been a dumping ground for centuries and most of what has been tipped into it is still out there, just waiting to be discovered.

What fun! I had a great time combing the Thames foreshore in search of washed up treasures. Highly recommend this unique way to get up close and personal with the Thames and things that found there way into it.

I absolutely loved it! I met new people, they were all super friendly and chatty. Robert (the organiser) at the beginning of the tour gave us some great tips on what to look for our search and at the end of our treasure hunting, as I call it, he looked at all the things we found giving us dates and information to understand better what we found. One of the participants found a clay pipe from the 1600! Amazing! I will definitely go back as it was such a great experience and even if I went by myself I found some really lovely people to connect with! I would definitely recommend you to give it a try!!

Me and my 9 year old Son had a great morning mudlarking. Our guide, Robert, was very helpful and knowledgeable. My son had a great time searching for bits of London's history, especially the clay pipes. Once we had finished, Robert was able to help us identify and date our finds. Look forward to doing it again

"Mud larking" on the Thames was a wonderful experience. Robert is extremely knowledgeable and can date an artifact with a quick glance. He kindly gave me some shards of pottery from the Tudor era as the bits I picked up from the shore weren't very old. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a great time and came home with some treasures. I appreciated that our guide could direct us and also date/explain our finds.

We had a great time mudlarking along the Thames. Robert was a great guide and knew loads about the various bits we found. Very interesting and relaxing experience and a friendly group of people. Was interesting finding a medieval piece of tile.

Easy to communicate with online. Friendly welcome. Very informative. Everything provided gloves, bags. Leisurely pace no hurrying. Easy to approach and ask questions along the way. Just a shame we didn't walk either to the end of the shore or back to where we started. Brilliant enjoyable morning. Loved it

I have done a few day trips to visit different parts of UK and see scenic and historical villages with Robert. These trips always exceeded my expectations as they were well organised and fun. Robert gave interesting facts and highlights of each location and we were given time to roam around the little villages on our own. I'll definitely recommend these trips to everyone who loves to get out of the city and make friends.

Really well organised and enjoyable trip. Great to share an appreciation of history and nature with other members of the group too. Robert provided a lot of insight into the history of each village and provided us each with a helpful map, including instructions for if anyone got lost - always a good idea!
