      London Eye and Thames Cruise
One of the best experiences we had while visiting London. Doing both the London Eye and the boat cruise as a package did worth it!

      Best in off-season
I've been before, but going now in February was the best—almost no quee. Fast treatment and even bought some water in the line before going. I got treated by Joshua, a nice guy wishing us the best before going. The boxes were not too crowded now in February, I got to see a lot more than previous times.

      London eye champagne experience
We landed in London at lunch time, went to our hotel and headed straight to London eye. There were rain showers during our ride but it did not dampen the experience. Nawaz our guide was great. He pointed out all the landmarks and was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Highly recommend the champagne experience and highly recommend Nawaz.

Beautiful place to see the city. Nice restaurants and clean restrooms were all positives that we found in the immediate area.

      Unimpressed kids
I would not recommend the London Eye. It is very expensive, and the long queues make the experience even less enjoyable. You can get better views for free from other locations in London. Additionally, it would be nice if they provided some information inside the pods to enhance the experience. Overall, it's not worth the time or money. I only did this because I have two kids, aged 7 and 8, and thought they would like it, but even for them, it was very boring.

      Stunning View
It's a fun ride with a great view from the top. You can see most of London, including buildings like Big Benn, The London Bridge, etc. It's a must-visit.

      Incredible views!
This is a must when in London! I’m afraid of heights, yet it was so comfortable & not scary at all. You barely feel the pods move. We visited at night & it was so beautiful seeing London lit up in all its glory! It takes about 30 minutes for the ferris wheel to make its way around. We bought the fast track tickets, so the line didn’t take long to get inside! The views are spectacular! When next in London, don’t miss the opportunity to go!

This here is one of the biggest attractions in London and for a reason! The ferris wheel is massive and nice we really like it
On a clear day I can imagine the views are amazing, but we went during a winter evening Due expect to wait in line for at least 30 minutes even with tickets

      So so
Ok, but not more. Sure, you can see Big Ben, House of Parliament and Westminister Abbey from above, but thats it. Not so many other interesting London sights can be seen from here. Would have wanted a guide/direction towards interesting spots to watch for.

2nd time for me, first time for friends and we all just loved it. The views are incredible and it is super safe. Plenty of time for photos or videos and staff take some as well. Just get fast pass from official sites not resellers, way cheaper. If booked out, keep checking.

      Unimpressed. Couldn’t even go on.
Me and my friend were so excited to go on the London Eye last weekend. We booked tickets in the morning and there were no issues. We travelled for a couple of hours into London and walked quite a long way to the Eye. We rushed all along Southbank, barely finishing our lunch to get there on time. When we reached the Eye, we scanned our tickets and waited in a pretty lengthy queue. Nobody mentioned anything and we were treated like regular customers, as we should be. After a while in the queue, we were both very excited to get on our ride up the wheel. We were just about to step on, when a member of staff stopped us and asked for our ages. We told them truthfully that we were 15/14. They told us that we were not allowed on the London Eye because we were too young. Neither the website, nor anyone in the queue had even mentioned this unnecessary age limit, despite many people knowing there were two of us. We were both bitterly disappointed and the day was ruined. We had to talk to at least four different members of staff, all who were unapologetic and frankly apathetic. None of them helped us get a refund or resolve the situation and they didn’t seem to care about it either. Our last instruction was to email the company, which I did, and received a disappointing automated email which was of no help. I think this is very disappointing and the company should just be more qualified as it is so popular and has been in business for such a long time.

Fabulous customer service from the staff in the booking centre (we'd had an unexpected delay because we'd accidentally got split up on the tube then there was a fire on the track causing disruption to the tube service meaning 2 of us wouldn't arrive on time for the boat) - I wish I had the names of the staff who had helped us but it was the evening of 31st July if that helps - the first man we spoke to was dealing with enquiries as we went in - he was really helpful and pointed us in the direction of the ticket desk where another male member of staff was very friendly and efficient and helped us to move our booking to a later one (they were also happy to be able to help another family who were at the desk and wanted to get on the boat we couldn't make). We had a short wait in the queue (I agree with others to arrive in plenty time if you want to sit on the seats on top of the boat, we didn't have a problem but you can't see the queue until you've gone down the ramp). Staff were friendly and courteous and our guide, Jordan, gave an amusing and informative commentary of all the sights and buildings we saw - he really made it enjoyable (and we really appreciated the fun after the earlier tube stress!). We were lucky to visit on a beautiful day and had views of a gorgeous sunset along the Thames. We would definitely recommend this trip. Thank you to all the staff involved.

We are on a sight seeing trip from Manchester and we did the combined London Eye and River Cruise package today which was excellent and worth every penny. All staff at both attractions were courteous, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. On the river cruise our guide Ian was so friendly and knowledgeable, he provided thorough and comprehensive information about the buildings, the river and its history in a really entertaining and enjoyable way. Even though the weather was wet and windy and we braved it outside on the cruise it didn’t dampen our spirits as Ian was so entertaining with a great sense of humour. Would definitely recommend.

An exellent way to experience the river Thames and view buildings along the river. Our Guide was George, and he was both funny and knowledgeable. A nice way to rest youre feet after walking through Londons streets. Buy tickets in advance and be there at least 15 minuts before the trip starts if you want to sit on the top deck.

We had the option to sit on the open top part of the boat, or down below in the enclosed seating. On the lower level, we were told they had restrooms and a bar (which is nice, but we didn't use those services). Even though it was sprinkling, we couldn't pass up sitting front row up on the top (we got some great photos also). We had a good tour guide and learned a lot about the sites along the river. Overall, it was a little difficult to hear the tour guide while sitting in the front row when she wasn't standing at the front of the boat (the speakers at the front of the boat weren't very loud). Also, at the beginning of our tour, we were told that the boat wouldn't fit going under the Westminster bridge (which is the direction the boat was facing when we docked) "or all our heads would get chopped off"... but an hour or so later, my husband and I were still in the area and saw the same tour boat go underneath that bridge (where they got to see more of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament). We were a little irritated, not that our boat didn't go that way during our tour (because we wouldn't have known otherwise), but that the guide on our tour specifically said "Our boat won't fit under that bridge". No need to be dishonest... I doubt that I would do this particular cruise again, but I do recommend doing at least one river cruise during your London trip to see the city sites from a different perspective.

We appreciate you taking the time to write this review. With the River Thames being very tidal, sometimes the tide is too high for our River Cruise to safely travel under Westminster Bridge. It doesn't happen very often and if it does it's only for an hour or two. We’ll take your feedback on board so that next time you fly with us your experience will be even more amazing. We were very lucky to attend The London Eye River Cruise on a school trip. Our tour guide Hannah was great at teaching us all about the landmarks and the history of London. Our favourite part of the cruise was when we went under each bridge and waved at members of the public walking across the bridges, as every time they waved back. Not only this, we were able to learn lots of new facts about the bridges. The most interesting fact we learned was that the 'lady bridge' was built 90% by women during WWII as all the men were fighting the war.
Another highlight was the Skatepark, the Undercroft. We found that it was the first purpose built skatepark in the world. It is now known as the home of skating.
We loved learning about the Great Fire of London. We found out that when the monument is laid down it will reach the bakery on Pudding Lane where the fire started.
We had a lovely view of the skyscrapers, particularly the Shard (all 185m of it!).
The most peculiar fact we learned from Hannah was that there are two golden pineapples on the top of the clock towers at St Paul's Cathedral. She even told us that pineapples cost £5000 when the Cathedral was built!
We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone, our 5 top tips for travelling on the River Cruise are; bring a jacket with you as it can get quite cold, sit on the upper deck for the best views, pay attention to your tour guide as you will be astonished at the things you learn, wave at all the pedestrians on the bridges for good luck and keep listening on the way back as you will see even more landmarks.
Thank you to Hannah for providing us with all of the facts and information about London's skyline, we really enjoyed our trip!

Really enjoyed the London Eye River Cruise. We booked the last slot at 4.45pm and got some amazing photographs of the sun setting over London. There was no waiting in the queue, everything moved quickly. I really liked the way each car collects passengers as it moves (very very) slowly around so there is no waiting around. The time on the London Eye is just right for seeing everything and getting as many photographs as you like. We all really loved the experience and it is a fantastic way to see London from the sky.

We moved straight onto the cruise so again no waiting around which we all really appreciated. Our guide (Scottish guy) was very entertaining. A lot of staff around to ensure everybody's safety and just a nice atmosphere on the boat. For people who didn't want to freeze in the name of sightseeing on the upper deck, there was a very comfortable and warm section on the lower deck.

All in all a very enjoyable experience.

We had a lovely time on the London Eye River Cruise yesterday. Our guide, George, really made the trip for us. As someone who's never really 'done' London before, I would definitely recommend this trip as a great way to see the City.

We had an amazing time on our London river cruise. The views of the city's iconic landmarks from the water were simply breathtaking. Our guide, Josh, made the experience with his commentary, which was interesting, informative, and funny. He also made the effort to ensure we knew he was a real person by coming down from the top deck to the lower deck.

One tip: make sure to arrive early, as the queue starts forming well before the cruise departs. This ensures you get a good spot on the boat to fully enjoy the views.

This cruise is a must-do for anyone visiting London, offering a unique and relaxing way to see the city. Highly recommended!

I had friends coming over and they wanted to do a Thames river cruise. I have done some over the years. Some with canapes and drinks and others more like a transportation sort of thing.

It is a typical sightseeing tour. Informative and relaxing and value for money. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a sunny afternoon at the top deck.

This is a circular cruise starting at the London Eye Pier and returning to it without stopping at Tower bridge Pier for drop offs or taking on new passengers. The total duration is 45 minutes.

The commentary is good and clear. I learnt few things like the standing red pillars in Blackfriars I did not know about. You get the best views of the palace of Westminster from the river and Big Ben and the majestic Tower Bridge. Lots of photo opportunities. I was very impressed too with the HMS Belfast ship- It looked bigger than ever and you get so close…

I would recommend this cruise without a doubt.
