About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- jeremyrA8483YO0 contributionsChristmas LightsA great couple of hours in Central London. Katrina took us to some fantastic sites for photography. Very busy but we got some amazing shots.Written 17 December 2023
- Chrelis0 contributionsAbsolutely appalling customer service - avoid at all costs!Looks like I'm not the only one to have this experience... I was given a voucher as a birthday gift and booked on for a date in September as part of a holiday in London. We received notification two days prior that there weren't enough people in this booking to run the tour. I was told I could rebook by email and was (after chasing!) offered 3 alternative dates, one of which I chose (or so I thought...) I hadn't had any kind of confirmation or joining instructions so on the morning of the tour I called to confirm that we had indeed been booked in as requested. I believe it was the owner of the business who called me back to tell me that the tour had been cancelled and that since I hadn't received an email notification, I clearly wasn't booked on anyway. Her manner on the phone was absolutely shocking, she told me she wasn't in customer service (clearly!) and that she wouldn't give me alternative dates because she wasn't going to guess at my availability! She seemed surprised that I wasn't eternally grateful for the fact that she'd called me back on a Saturday (the day the course was supposed to be happening). She then went on to tell me that she was the best photograph tutor in England (her customer service skills clearly don't match!) I am asking for a refund as I absolutely do not want anything more to do with this woman's business.Written 21 October 2023
- paulmS2728XI0 contributionsInspiring Night PhotographyLots of great shots within 2 hours. Thank you so much!! Lots of inspiring ideas to work on now. Thank you so much Katrina for your help, patience and detailed background information on the history of photography.Written 19 May 2023
- Cruiser6229570 contributionsA really good introduction to Night PhotographyI was given this tour as a milestone Birthday gift and I was not certain of it's value, On arrival the guide was engaging and informative and gave a large number of settings and revealed aspects of my camera that I had not explored. The locations for the shots were well thought out and gave me the oppurtunity to take plenty of magical pictures.Written 9 November 2022
- JMcSW20 contributionsFantastic workshop.Fantastic! Bought my first ever camera this summer and my friend bought me this workshop for my birthday. Pictures were fantastic. Katarina the guide was ace - not only during the workshop, but also developing our confidence to go alone which I did the night after! First three photos from the tour, the next using my knowledge!Written 6 November 2022
- David26930 contributionsAwful, never bookAwful! My friend booked a hotel to stay in Birmingham as she had this photography class. Ayer arriving they said they had changed the date to next Thursday as they only do the last Thursdays of the month. Didn’t notify us by phone, Apparntly had left an email thay had gone to junk and said they always get cancelled as they can’t change the way they book it. So hotel money wasted, time and time booked off work. Will be putting in a formal complaint to red letter days for a refund and in contact with barclaycard.Written 21 April 2022
- iantH7848IA0 contributionsExcellent experienceMy wife and I enjoyed the experience a lot, Kat, our guide, was excellent explained everything clearly very informative and approachable. Communication from the company was really good with e-mails about a week before explaining everything we needed to know and then a day before.Written 25 October 2021

- TravelManiac2140 contributionsFantastic tourI t was a sheer joy to tour with Katrina. She is very thorough, professional and ensure that one understand when someone is struggling with the shot. She will show you and make sure you understand. I had lots of problem with my night time photography and I kept getting shots that were blurry. She ensure that my shots were crisp. I have booked another tour one with her.Written 10 December 2019
- zhatton0 contributionsGreat nightDid this last year but keen to do again. So pleased I did because we did a slightly different route and concentrated on different techniques. Kat was brilliant guiding a small group around a very busy central london location.Written 24 November 2019
- SeanAlf0 contributionsNight Tour - South BankI was bought this by my wife as an anniversary gift. Excellen tour, Katrina who took it was fun, knowledgable and very easy to listen to. I am a reasonably experienced photographer, but I still learnt and it was also an excellent reminder as I hadn't done any night projects for a few years. The tour started from Waterloo Bridge and ended at the Millenium Bridge. Good walking shoes and a tripod recommended and wrap up warm! The locations are interesting, I would have liked a crack at the Eye, but we were one bridge down, maybe if the toure reveresed and started at the Millenium bridge? I have always wanted to shoot on the Millenium Bridge, so I was glad when we walked down to it. Overall, very pleased and an excellent part of a great couple of days.Written 11 October 2019
- KusaladeZoysa0 contributionsExcellent tourThis all about exposure and you got to have a good DSLR and a tripod to do it. The guide was kind enough to give a few tripods to the ones who didn't have any. I took the south bank tour.I wish I had taken the other as it would involve the London Eye and the other interesting land marks. All in all its a good one, but you got to have some basic knowledge about photography.Written 4 October 2019
- zhatton0 contributionsArchitecture photowalkHad a great session with Katrina. Due to cancellations ended up as 1:1. Walked round Blackfriars and St Pauls and took some amazing pictures under Katrinas guidance. I recommend signing up to the newsletter to get special offers.Written 19 August 2019
