      Peppa pig afternoon tea
We had a lovely afternoon on the peppa pig bus tour... the tour guide Brian was fab and kept the children entertained with songs, games and just being fun. It was my sons 3rd bday which I had added on the notes when booking. When we arrived Brian asked his name and presented him with a cake and a encouraged everyone to sing happy birthday! A very special moment! (Thank you!) The tour itself is good but was a tad hard to see from the lower deck. Food was good, we took lots home with us and got to keep our peppa pig cups. Overall I would recommend for a peppa fan! Massive thanks to Daisy, Christian, Brian and Taiwo for the hospitality! 💜

      Not so fab for kids
Menu online needs to be changed. Claims there is various sandwiches including turkey and ham which is why I booked this one for me and my kids. Everything had cream cheese on it and the sandwiches were either cheese or cucumber and salmon. The food was lovely can't fault the taste or how it was presented but not worth the money for kids at all when there's nothing they can eat on the plate, had to end up buying them food when I got off the bus after paying the money for the tea which isn't great. We did ask on the bus if there was any way we could get a sandwich for the kids with just ham or turkey and were told no

      Paddington Bear Afternoon Tea
Amazing experience for the children and the adults. Generous portions of sweet and savory food, unlimited drink refills. Our hostess Nimata, Ane and Sebastian went above and beyond to create an unforgettable moment. Highly recommended for families that likes the Paddington film.

      Lovely Paddington Bear Afternoon Tea!
We had the most lovely experience on our Paddington Bear afternoon tea bus tour! The team on board were fantastic and attentive, thank you JB, Derek, Vivian and Mihal (apologies for getting any names wrong!), offering to take pictures and topping up our drinks etc. We greatly enjoyed our food and the joyful atmosphere. Just charming! And they made all those celebrating birthdays on the bus (including my mum!) feel very special. I had booked this as a 60th birthday present for my mum, but our initial tour was canceled due to protests in London. Not at all the fault of Brigits bakery who were apologetic and had great customer service and were brilliant in rebooking us in for another time. All in all just a really fun experience, so thank you all!

Highly recommend the Paddington Tour 🐻
Today I did the Paddington themed Afternoon Tea bus tour with my mum and daughter as a Mother’s Day treat and to say we had the best Mothers Day ever would be an understatement. I won’t lie, not all of the food was to our taste (we’re fussy eaters!), and the weather was HORRIFIC but the whole experience was wonderful. Joanna and the rest of the team on board made it such a magical experience for my 6 year old girl, and the fact they cater to gluten free was the icing on the cake. Paddington calling out all of the famous landmarks you see as you go around made it super special and I would gladly book this tour again. And again! Thank you for an absolutely wonderful day 💜

      Just okay..
We did the Grinchmas bus tour and it was okay. Food was okay. The bus was hot and honestly during a Christmas “Grinch” theme tour I’d hope for Christmas music not 80’s. Grinch cups were super cute though. Glad I did it once, but won’t do it again.

      Nice but room for improvement.
Baked items were wonderful, service was okay. I would not recommend if you really want to see the landmarks in London. The narrator was pre-recorded, and not always synced with where you were at the time. We missed several places including Buckingham Palace and the Marble Arch. Also the music they play between narrations was way too load for us, almost so you couldn’t carry on a conversation with your tablemates. We purchased two bottle of Procceco and thought they would be left at the table, but the glasses were refilled periodically by the servers. We have no idea if we actually drank both bottles since the refills were not that often. Better than walking around London in any event.

      Disappointed.
My sister originally booked for 4th February for her birthday Unfortunately the booking we had, we needed to change due to travel disruption and had to pay a re-booking fee of £22.00 per person.I consider that to be a right rip off! The date we changed to was then on a rail strike day when we asked about changing again we were told it would cost another £22.00 per person in the end we decided to go and managed to get to Victoria ok The office staff were rude and very unhelpful on each occasion we spoke to them, we were told that if we didn't all make it that we could take the food that we had paid for but not the 2 bottles of prosecco that we had paid for?? . I would like to understand why it cost that much to change a booking. Actually on the bus was good, the food was lovely. and the choice of drinks was very good. Because of the previously mentioned problems it really took the shine off of the experience. We were supposed to be celebrating my sisters birthday but it didn't feel good which was a shame. I would not book again and would advise anyone thinking of booking of the hidden charges.and warn them of the about the rude office staff. S. Harrison

Pleasant but demonstration spoilt the tour
Lovely service. Tour disruption due to demonstration on Downing Street, perhaps maybe a back up route always to be available so that passengers are not disappointed. State tour on site with what can be offered if route not accessible.

After booking what was thought to be an exciting afternoon tea for both my parents and 2.5year old toddler turned out to be an extremely stressful and awful experience!
We were booked on the 5:30pm afternoon tea for Peppa Pig, told you arrive 15minutes before the booking and which did. However, at 5pm (when already en route) I received a call to say the bus was running late and to be at the meeting point no later than 5.30pm. We arrived and waited for over 45minutes for bus, when the bus eventually arrived at 5.50pm we were stood still waiting whilst an entertainer then tried to entertain the children (it didn’t quite work)!
As you can imagine a toddler who is in a good set routine being made to stand outside for 45minutes and then teased with the bus on his face but unable to go on for another however long was purely torturous.
In the end we decided enough was enough we had to leave, it wasn’t a warm summers night either!
Prior to waiting around I spoke with a member of staff on the phone that due to this delay if the toddler decided to leave would it be possible and I was told yes...since we waited near to an hour he got upset and distressed and so we had to leave without getting on the bus. When speaking to Brigits customer services I was told I would have the option to rebook or refund since then I have had a tiresome email tirade between myself and them stating they will not refund nor rebook and if we want to come again we must pay again.
I think this is an extremely unfair policy and actually very smart way of taking people’s money!!!!
I will not be rebooking with this company again and I will be taking this further, the service was appalling, well the lack of service really. Getting an email response a whole week later is ridiculous.
I would stay away and book elsewhere!!! Not worth the heart ache of a toddler!

Dear Citywoman-89, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with our services. As mentioned in our Terms and Conditions, we are subject to traffic at all times and that was the unfortunate cause of the delay of your tour. We are afraid, this is something that is out of our control and it is very difficult to predict how long the delay is going to be for. In these situations, our booking department is always trying to make our customers aware of any delays and call in advance. As our customer service team already mentioned, I'm afraid that we are unable to process a refund but we offered you an alternative to re-book. We hope you will reconsider to joining us on board in the future. Have a lovely day, Brigit's Team

I booked this for my mum and auntie as a special day out in London. I received a call the day before saying the bus was fully booked so we had to be moved to another bus which was a different menu then the one I had selected. Once we boarded the bus we realised how tiny the "4" seater tables were, barely big enough for 2 people.
I was sat next to my mum squashed up hanging half off the chair, with lower back issues myself this was not comfortable at all. We looked around another tables and realised we had less sandwiches then everyone else so had to ask for them. The commentary was nice to have when we could hear it.
When it came to bringing out the scones, clotted cream was handed our but then taken back, this was due to them all being out of date! Staff then came around and told us that there was an issue and we couldn't have any clotted cream. How can you serve afternoon tea with scones with no clotted cream!
Staff were very polite, and bus was very well decorated but for the price we paid I was very dissapointed with what we received. Especially as we paid for 3 people and only really got 2 seats. Was hoping to rebook for later in the summer to bring oversea friends, but will not be booking again.

Gosh, I really wanted to love this bus tour but it missed the mark on a few things.

The instructions after you book ask you to arrive 15/20 minutes early and that boarding closes five minutes before your tour time (our tour time was 5:00). We arrived 20 minutes early to the bus station which, by the way, isn't the most pleasant of places but that clearly isn't the tour company's fault. Unfortunately, no one collected us until a few minutes before 5:00 so everyone sat/stood around waiting for quite some time with no one from the tour company even on site. There was a family that came running in at 4:55 thinking they were going to be left behind when in reality they had nothing the worry about. I understand wanting passengers to arrive early but at least have a tour representative there to check in passengers, answer questions, etc. Someone finally checked us in and we boarded the bus. It's a lovely bus although seating on the benches is a little tight for even two average size adults. I chose the VIP seats so we were on the top level at the very front of the bus. We had a great view. There was plenty to eat which was quite good for a tour. The commentary was funny and pleasant.

The biggest disappointment was this...the tour is supposed to be 1 1/2 hours but at 6:10 we were already pulling back into the bus station. Weirdly, the lovely man who was our tour guide said something like "I hope you enjoyed your one and a half our tour." Huh? We left around 5:05 and returned at 6:10. We paid $228 for the tour (two VIP seats and two Kir Royales) for a 90 minutes tour. Since it was actually only 65 minutes, we received about 25% less than paid. That is significant. It's not as if there isn't plenty more to see in London. It's not as if the streets were empty and it simply took less time to get around. The two ladies next to us had ordered a bottle of Prosecco in advance and weren't even served the whole bottle. Was lack of time a factor?

I feel if you advertise a 90 minute tour and ask patrons to pay for a 90 minute tour, a 90 minute tour (or at least close) should be given. No one would accept a pound of food when they paid for a pound an a half. If you order a pair of pants and it arrives at your door with half a leg missing, would you be satisfied? If they are running early, have a back up plan to go down an additional street or two. At least get relatively close to the paid for time.

We have been to London many times so nothing on the tour was new to us but it was fun and the food was good and plentiful. I just wouldn't book again because of the amount paid for versus the actual time given.

We booked the evening Christmas light tour but unfortunately it was more a vehicle red tail light tour with Harrods, Harvey Nichols and the very top of Oxford Street thrown in !!!
The modified bus was extremely cramped and certainly not suitable for four persons per table and the two two seater tables at the front of the bus where even more restricted. The bus was also very cold and none of the aforementioned where due to any covid compliance restrictions.
The afternoon tea was mediocre and the one staff member clearly didn't want to give any level of customer service.
Certainly not what we expected, although its a novel attraction I'm afraid it ends there !!

Dear maddox66, Thank you for your feedback. Your comments are extremely important for us as they provide continuous improvement for our service. We are very sorry to hear that our Afternoon Tea Bus Tour experiencedid not rise to your expectations. I'm afraid that we are operating with Vintage Routemaster Buses and unfortunately, we can not modify the structure of the seats, . Also, we have blankets on our buses which can be provided upon request. I would advise you to send an e-mail with your feedback to our booking department - bus@b-bakery.com, and my colleagues will get back to you. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconveniences created. We hope to win your trust again and to bring you back on board. Kind Regards, Brigit's Team

Right from the start I knew I had made the right decision to book this tour for my 6 year old. She’s grown out of the Peppa Pig obsession phase, happy to watch the programmes if they are on TV but not fussed by merchandise any more. I was unsure if she’d think she was too old. She most definitely was not. In fact I think pre-school children may struggle to sit for 90 min and would they be as interested in the sites?
The staff on board were all so friendly and offered to take photos without question. We had already walked 7 miles around London sites the day before so this was a welcome relief for me to sit down and relax and let Peppa’s commentary and the additional live entertainment take over.
The food was so beautifully presented but, I’m sorry to have to add a negative, it was too fancy for a (possibly fussy) 6 year old. She doesn’t like hummus and unfortunately the carrot and cucumber sticks were placed in the dip for (excellent) presentation purposes. Egg sandwiches are an acquired taste for younger children and even the macaroons and scone was not appreciated. I, on the other hand, thought it was marvellous and was stuffed! My girl would have preferred a sausage roll and some crudités with some crisps. Some refining of tastes needed. It’s a criticism disguised as a huge compliment as the food was an excellent standard and I was happy with my refill on my tea.
I have already recommended it to friends with young school children for a perfect first experience of London.
PS: I was downstairs as there was no availability on the top deck. I’ve no idea if it’s more expensive upstairs but I’d recommend top deck to see a bit more and generally a better experience.
Big thank you to the crew. You were amazing.

Although we were a party of four we had opted to book the VIP seats at the front of the bus so that we were all forward facing. For three of us this was a return trip and we felt the additional cost for the VIP seats was well worth it.

The team onboard ensured the social distancing and hygiene measures were followed. They were friendly and attentive.

The food was excellent and a very good selection of beverages were available. It's always great to be onboard a Routemaster bus.

It's a great way to spend 90 minutes. In these strange times it was an absolute joy to have a fun experience - once we were seated and the tour started it felt like a return to our lives prior to lockdown in March, so thank you for that.

Even though the bus wasn't full no doubt due to social distancing, because of the happy chatter from ourselves and fellow passengers, we couldn't always hear the commentary but that is an indication of how we were all enjoying ourselves.

We will no doubt be back onboard at a future date, maybe opting for a gin lovers tour - if you love sightseeing in London, enjoy afternoon tea and like the iconic Routemaster buses this is definitely something to add to the 'to do' list.

Took this tour with my elderly mother, though it would be a perfect fit for us, non walking tour and afternoon tea, BIG, BIG MISTAKE. We had booked the upper front table, lovely couple across the isle from us but the rest of the bus was booked with a large group of college age females that were very LOUD and rude. They were so loud you could not hear the over head speakers giving the prerecorded verbal part tour and champagne glass popping/shattering everywhere. The hostess refused to ask them to lower their voices and the hostess refused to refund our money or rebook us for another proper tour. we attempted to contact the manager multiple times, left messages, no return call. The Bakery foods were so stale!!!

We booked the B Bakery afternoon tea for 3, as we thought it would be nice to indulge in tea and cakes whilst learning about London. This was NOT value for money. We received this one plate for the 3 of us to share (£70.10 per person) with the addition of one small scone each. What little commentary there was, was interspersed (or spoken over) by the hostess on board. For this price you could have afternoon tea at the Savoy Hotel where they replenish all the courses served. Very disappointing and expensive!

My adult son has been asking for this treat over a long time so we booked it. Seeing that their site & bus all seem pink themed I had expected to see 2 waitresses dressed in pink uniforms, but instead we got 2 men with blue shirts. I told them they should have worn pink shirts to fit in with the theme??!!

Anyway we booked upstairs for 4. Bit of a tight squeeze if you're not slim. My initial thoughts on seeing the range of food was would that be enough for 4 considering the expensive prices & they don't give you any free top ups?

So we had a selection of finger sandwiches, some small filled rolls, some small cakes which we enjoyed. Then a bit later they gave us a warm scone with a small jar of strawberry jam & small packet of clotted cream.

Good choice of teas or coffee & top ups were included. However they don't leave milk on your table, you need to ask for milk to add to your hot drink.

The recorded commentary was clear, not too loud & it was informative.

At the end we could keep our pink mug for a souvenir. Also given a box to take home left overs.

The 2 guys were very friendly & helpful, willing to assist. Also gave my son a small cup cake with a candle & we sang happy birthday. It was also someone else's birthday they did the same to.

We all enjoyed the trip. It was slightly delayed, but we had already left home so didn't get the message till we got home. Fortunately the weather was also good.

Our bus, a classic London Routemaster RM735 was in SUPERB CONDITION. I asked the guys if it had recently been re-painted, but they weren't sure. Inside the appearance was equally good. A nice touch being that the lighting was of the "original round bulb type". The all important appearance of the bus on a trip like this was a 10/10.

I would suggest a lower price or a few extra sandwiches & cakes are stocked just incase you still feel a bit peckish??!

    Thank you.

Having been on one of the classic tours a few years ago and enjoying it, my daughter asked me and my sister in law along to the Peppa Pig afternoon tea bus tour with my granddaughter.

We were asked to arrive 15 minutes early but we weren’t seated until 15 minutes after the start time. Having to wait 30 minutes in wet weather with an expectant and excited three year old is not good. The hosts were still plating up the food after the start time! On departure the two hosts both went upstairs leaving the downstairs guests waiting too long for a drink.
After a considerable amount of time we asked for our screen to be switched on and were told they were broken. This information was not given to us on arrival, we were just informed when we asked about it. No apology offered. We were all looking forward to the singalong with Peppa. And we were not offered the activity book either. Both of which are advertised on the Brigit’s Bakery website.

Whilst our host was nice, there was no sense of fun from him.

On returning to the drop off point I spoke with the staff from the other bus (two buses did the tour on the day I went) as the person who seemed to be managing them was on that bus. She was busy with a very vocal unhappy customer so I spoke with another staff member who was very nice. When I told him we were unhappy about the screens not working we were informed that they are regularly not working. I presume the management is aware and I feel it’s unfair to put their staff in the firing line of many unhappy customers. Everyone on our bus was unhappy with the experience which was under delivered. So, B.Bakery are taking a lot of money (£200 from our table alone) in the full knowledge that on a regular basis they cannot deliver what they advertise.

On a positive note, the staff were all nice people though more effort to be interactive with the young guests would have been good. Plus, the food was nice.

On this experience, I cannot recommend this tour as they did not deliver the basics they state on their website. Very, very disappointing.
