About
This tour was created to show London and the lives of Londoners over the years and what they drank. Coutours launched this tour in 2012 and it has been a consistent favourite since then. We stop in interesting pubs and we are the only guide who can officially use The City of London Distillery.

History, culture and a tipple or two!
Jul 2021
A very interesting and relaxed few hours spent wandering the streets and a handful of hidden gems in the City, learning some history and sampling various beverages. A small group of 6 people and the fact that the tour is mostly outdoors, kept things in order in the current situation. Emma is an excellent guide - friendly, interesting, knowledgeable and amusing. A most enjoyable Saturday afternoon, thank you!

An informative, enjoyable tour
Jun 2021
This was an informative and enjoyable tour. Emma, our guide was knowledgable, funny and engaging. It is a great way to get an 'insider view' and see parts of London that often get overlooked and to learn the important role that drink (both alcoholic and non-alcholic) has played in the shaping of the city. The tour was at a relaxed pace and is for a moximum of 6 people. We visited a lovely pub (an original gin place) and ended the tour in a gin distillery - what's not to like!

Thanks Emma for such an enjoyable tour. Would throughly recommend.

Excellent Tour

We really enjoyed our Spy Tour of London, Emma was an excellent guide, she kept us fully engaged throughout the 2 hours of the tour, in fact the time seemed to pass very quickly. She was full of interesting knowledge about buildings, locations and the various characters involved in spying. I would definitely recommend this tour.

A Great afternoon in London
May 2021
Emma was an excellent guide and very informative. I know London quite well, but it is always great to find somewhere new. We were a small group of three couples, that made the whole experience more enjoyable.
The tour should have been two and a half hours, which flew by and we were still enjoying our gin and tonics nearly three hours later.
I would highly recommend this tour and will definitely be booking one of the other tours.
Thank you Emma for a great afternoon 🙂

Informative and FUN!
May 2021
We just had a fabulous walking tour with Emma - having booked it in the depths of lockdown, we hadn't even dared to think what it would be like. It turned out to be a perfect post lockdown trip to the capital and we felt we had got an insider view of the City of London, Hatton Garden & Holborn in the company of a wise, witty and very knowledgable friend. The other people on our trip were great fun too and we managed to dodge the downpours sitting in an atmospheric pub and a cool gin distillery where we drank Christopher Wren gin sitting amongst the gin stills. We are already planning our next trip with friends.

Best tour of London
Feb 2020 • Couples
I actually toured way back in September 2019, but it won’t let me share a date that far back! That’s how well this experience stuck with me. Emma was amazing; by the end of the tour, she felt like a friend showing us her favorite spots around London. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this tour!
