Our driver took us on an incredible journey! By the time we left London, it was like a road trip with an old friend. He took us to lots of places off the beaten path and exceeded our expectations for the day. We will definitely call London Country Tours on our next trip to England.

Overall experience was superb from start to finish. Communication prior to trip worked out well allowing me everything I needed to know to be prepared for a great day. This was basically the only day we took to do something outside of the city, so I had to be special. Luckily, in addition to everything working with our tour operator, the weather cooperated as well! So we ended up with a beautiful day to see Stonehenge for the first time and then finish with a walk around a lovely city of Bath. David was our driver, very kind and thoughtful made the whole day easy. Also provided tremendous inside on each of historic spots we were visiting. Ben was well equipped, comfortable, and luxurious. We had five people, and there was more than enough room. Highly recommend to any group they would like to see these places without all the crowds of the buses. Thank you, David for a lovely day that will stay in our memories.

We booked a private day tour from London to Cotswolds and Oxford. It was outstanding! David arrived on time at our hotel and guided us on a wonderful day visiting these amazing locations. No matter that it was cold and rainy. The experience was worth it. David’s guidance and education on the area, history and playful stories was perfect. He provided guidance on the best places to visit, scheduled a wonderful lunch, showed us some hidden photo opportunities, got us back to London in time for dinner. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We will definitely be booking another tour with David next time in London.

David's tours provided door to door service and he timed our visits to minimize crowds and maximize our enjoyment. Hiring David to drive my family around London and the Cotswolds for three days was, without a doubt, one of the wisest adult decisions I have ever made. What a wonderful two days we had exploring the London countryside with London Country Tours! Prior to our arrival, I had discussed what we wanted to see with David and he told me exactly what time tickets I needed to buy for our visits. When our vacation finally arrived, David picked the four of us up on time at our hotel in a spotless Mercedes van. We visited Oxford, Stratford and toured the Cotswolds on our first day, and then Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath on our second. David was very knowledgeable and took us to several out-of-the-way spots including “secret” places where we saw how the locals lived, including the oldest pub in England. Not having to deal with public transportation or a rental car made our short visit to London very enjoyable. I would highly recommend London Country Tours.

Absolutely delighted with our tour! David collected us at our hotel, and we had a wonderful day exploring the Cotswolds and onward to Bath. David was prompt, a skillful driver with a comfortable van, and very knowledgeable about all the historical and sightseeing questions we had. He planned adequate time to fit in a tea break at a delightful tea room, time for shopping ,plentiful time for investigating the various sights on our itinerary as well as a leisurely lunch at an historic pub. We found David to be a very patient ,pleasant, and flexible guide who gave great recommendations for fitting in a lot into 1 day's time to tour. This company is a convenient and stress free way to maximize your layover in London or an add-on to a city stay. We can't wait to bring our grandchild back for a second tour with David!

What a fun day we had to Stonehenge and Windsor with our driver/guide Steve. We were picked up promptly at our hotel in London at the agreed to time and Steve took us to Stonehenge and then Windsor. He provided commentary as we went along and great hints about where to grab a quick lunch in Windsor and the perfect pub for an after tour beer before we headed back to London. We planned the trip with owner, David Stubbs, who promptly answered emails and helped us efficiently plan our day. We would definitely recommend London Country Tours - specifically David and Steve and would use them again when we find ourselves in the area.

Eddie was fantastic! Very comfortable trip and he knew his stuff in England. He surprised us with a few unexpected stops that were not on the itinerary that we greatly appreciated. Great way to see the major sites in one day!

London Country Tours, owned by David Stubbs, was a perfect option for our two week tour of England, Wales, and Scotland! We were a group of 7 friends and David was always very personable and knowledgeable of all areas we visited. A great sense of humor with plenty of stories, always on time and good at communicating his suggestions as well as accommodating our requests. Being together with David for two weeks was enjoyable, comfortable and safe. David was excellent at getting us where we needed to go and always reactive to any need we had upon our trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two outings with London Country Tours; one being to Leeds Castle, Canterbury and the White Cliffs, AND the second to Warwick Castle and to Stratford on Avon. Two wonderful days of having a personal guide to these scenic and very interesting places, with pick up and return directly to our doorstep. Our driver and guide, Steve, was the best! Very knowledgeable. We will definitely take more tours with them on our next visit to the UK.

David was very easy to work with, customizing 2 days for our group of 6 adults. We needed pickup & drop off in London for our cruise in Portsmouth Port and we wanted to add sight-seeing along the way. Eddie was out driver both days. Very prompt & easy to communicate with. Took us to Windsor Castle on way to Port and Stonehenge on return from Port. I absolutely recommend and would use again for others tours. Private tour is 100% better than large bus tours

A super GREAT experience. We hired London Country Tours for a 3 day tours around Bath (Stonehenge, Costworlds and Oxford). Christopher was the best driver/guide we could've wished for. He went above and beyond to make my parents confortable, helped out with my father's electric scooter, was patient and kind. He knew his way around. Organising the trip with David was also very easy, he made suggestions and planned the itinerary. I definitely recommend them and would with no doubt hire them again. Thanks for everything.
