An absolutely wonderful experience! I surprised my mom and daughter, and they were thrilled - delicious dinner, wonderful staff, and a truly beautiful experience cruising down the Thames and seeing London, which is now one of our favorite cities in the world. Thank you!

Loved this so much, looked after so well by all staff. Food fantastic, crew were brilliant. The sight seeing and commentary exceptional. Highly recommend you do this in London. It was very special as it was Mum's 80th birthday, we both loved it.

I went with my grandmother, and was very satisfied with the experience. The crew were very kind and patient as they waited for us to board the boat, due to my grandmother having impaired walking, it took us a little while to get down the pier and onto the boat. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere on the boat was very relaxing. I was glad that we were able to eat main course and dessert before the commentary started, so we were able to be present and listening throughout the experience. The food was a basic good standard, we had chicken, potatoes and veg for main, and a cheesecake for dessert. The disabled toilets were very accessible from our seats. We had window seats, so the view was great. The boat wasn't packed with other guests so that was a positive also. There was an option to go upstairs to the upper deck of the boat and experience the views outside which was a plus.

A lovely relaxing lunch along the Thames. The food was really really nice and great service from all the team. The boat was lovely, clean and spacious, and the ride was nice and smooth. A great selection of drinks from the bar too. A great way of having lunch and seeing all the sights at the same time, and at at very reasonable price too. Would definitely do this again in the future with City Cruises.

We had a beautiful sunny, but cold, day for our River Cruise with lunch. We had a table seat with nice cloth and china. The first course was chicken in a tasty sauce with potato and grilled veg. Second course was amazing cheesecake. Service was spot on, food was hot and nicely presented and the sights of London were wonderful to see against an amazing blue sky back drop. Next time we will try the afternoon tea! Well Done City Cruises!! Thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful food and service, great entertainment, and an all around beautiful cruise! We met some lovely people, and spent a memorable evening with 3 generations of family....mother, daughter, granddaughter. Cheers!

The cruise was a 1.5 hours cruise up and down the Thames. There was overhead commentary about the sights, but it was not so loud as to be annoying. The boat was smooth and quiet. The windows were clean which allowed for picture taking. The food was large in quantity and average in taste. Tea was not refilled. There were no to-go boxes available. We were offered coffee cups without lids :-( to take the remaining treats home.

Lovely cruise down the Thames with a delicious 2 course meal, it was my birthday so got a lovely message on my desert and a glass of fizz, lovely staff overall a great experience would highly recommend

We loved this from start to finish. The boat is very spacious and clean and the seats swivel for a 360 view of the Thames. We were lucky to have a glorious sunny day so the water was quite calm. The afternoon tea is the right amount and very tasty. We all loved the tour guide’s comments she was spot on. My only negative was that service for drinks was slow and when they did arrive were wrong .. twice !!! I would definitely recommend this for a fab trip up the Thames

I was a bit apprehensive about this but needn’t have worried. It was excellent. Lovely 4 course meal and welcome Prosecco. Young lady entertaining excellent and got everyone involved. Weather was fab to go and see the London views.

Positives The boats were clean and tidy. They were busy but there was still plenty of room. Most of the crew were lovely. Negatives I had a hop on hop off ticket. I did exactly that and hopped off after one leg. My plan was to get off at each stop, have a look around and catch the next boat in 40 minutes. I took some photos of the interior of the vessel on the way and was questioned why I was doing this by the crew. When I got off the skipper of the boat questioned me in front of the whole boat about my suspicious activity (taking photos of the inside of the vessel) and he said he'd never seen activity like that before. I thought this attitude was crazy. Later when on a different boat belonging to this company, everyone on board was to to disembark half way along the cruise as the tide was too high and the boat couldn't fit under the bridges. Most people on board had no idea that this was going to happen as we weren't told until after we had departed the first stop. I knew as a member of staff had circled the cancelled cruises for me earlier in the day. I understand tides can't be helped. The crew on board and the chap who edited my timetable told us the next boat would be along in 40 minutes to take us to Westminster. When it arrived this boat was cancelled too meaning most people had to wait nearly 2 hours for a boat which was really busy. No refunds were given, and in response to questions, only shoulders were shrugged. I opted to cross the river and pay extra for a trip back to Westminster with the competitor Thames River Sightseeing. Don't bother with City Cruises if you're in London. Even if all goes to plan you'll cringe non-stop at the crew begging you for money and tips every 5 minutes. If you want a commentary and a slow trip take Thames River Services. If you want flexibility and value take Uber Boat with a day ticket.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING . This was a 40th birthday present and romantic evening out !! The pictures online in no way reflected the evening. The first course was salmon - two slivers of salmon on either side of the plate with a piece of mozzarella in the middle -hiding the fact that there was no salmon underneath , small bowl of tomato? soup which was not fresh, chicken which was edible but nothing special and a version of - certainly not fresh - tiramisu which was inedible. Service appalling, I had to complain - we were given a free glass of wine but no apology. Wonderful sights - BUT the windows were tinted so unable to remain in out seat and video therefore had to rush to the roof of the boat to take photographs. They then asked for tips - which we did not give. Lucky we were in a good mood and it was a rare occasion that we had managed to get a baby-sitter.

Amazing experience! I highly recommend and would definitely do this again! It was truly a great day and the food was incredible

Fabulous way to see London backed up by some very interesting commentary. I’m partial to a boat tour so maybe a little bias but loved the whole experience. Drinks on the pricey side but that was to be expected. Great stuff

Fantastic! The crew were so friendly and really set this sightseeing river cruise apart from others we’ve been on. We received a warm welcome at Westminster pier from Danni, on board the team running the cafe were so kind to our young children, the live commentary from Will was superb and the captain did a fantastic job with the high tide. The boat was spacious and the facilities were clean and modern. The sunshine was an added bonus. Would recommend!
