History, doughnuts and tea - what more could you ask for?
A delightful little history trip around the Borough Market area with two amazing doughnuts and a glorious tea. Our guide, Oscar, educated us on the history of the markets just south of the river, how the hops markets worked and various other delightful details. The doughnuts were amazing and both very different. With the first shop having a refreshing lighter option and the second having far decadent offerings. These were split by a stop in a wonderful tea shop with so many flavours and offerings you will find one just to your liking. Thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about London whilst eating at the same time.

A fun (and yummy) way to learn about Southwark and London
A fun (and yummy) way to learn about Southwark and London Oscar was great as our guide. Both knowledgable and attentive he made sure all of on the tour were addressed, and had some great history on London and doughnuts. Borough Market was a highlight and if you have never had a crème-brûlée doughnut you are missing out. Well worth the sugar rush!! Great value, and highly recommended.

Mini-city tour with a side of doughnuts
As fun as it sounds. Our man, Oscar, was all too happy too lead us around the Borough Market area - pointing out building of historical significance as well as pubs, restaurants and other come-back-and-see-them spots. Of course there were doughnuts. Thankfully, Oscar brought each of us a bag to collect our half-eaten stash so we wouldn’t have a sugar-seizure mid-tour. The doughnuts themselves were a varied lot. From the traditional to the wild. And all were worth sampling, but of course we had our favorites. Our tea stop was a breath of perfumed air. All in all, an excellent entree to the food and drink scene around Borough Market. And enough walking to keep us from feeling guilty about the indulging.

    Great way to see London
This was the most fun way to see some of the major areas in London. It was a great way to keep kids engaged as we learned about the history of the area. Oscar was our tour guide and he was amazing! He knew his history, his donuts and all his connections in the market made it even better. Highly recommend.

Doughnuts is just the beginning of the fun. Dan was an amazing tour guide, so much history of the area, all shared in an upbeat way. The doughnuts were delicious, all so different. We really enjoyed our little group. This should be on your list of things to do in London! You will love the Borough Market! Ask for DAN!

Loved the tour!! Dan was a fabulous guide and great at answering our questions. He not only showed us the amazing doughnuts but also gave great food recommendations and history of the area. Not our first time in London but wouldn’t mind going on the tour again because who doesn’t want doughnuts!

Our host Oscar was so friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Such an enjoyable tour with intriguing behind-the-scenes insight and lots of unique donut flavors! Oscar was so kind to our son and answered all of our questions and even gave great city-wide tips for our stay. Would definitely book again.

We absolutely loved this tour! Our tour guide Dan was so knowledgeable and friendly, and we had a great walk around the London Bridge area learning about some of the history and not to mention all of the delicious donut stops. We tried new flavours we’d not had before and loved them. I’d definitely recommend for anyone wanting a day out in London, and especially for those donut lovers :)

The guide I had(his name is Dan) was very good at sharing the history of London. He even gave recommendations for food stalls I should get food from and ones I should avoid,Dan even brought me into a bird and blend tea shop (despite smelling a few teas, I ended up ordering cherry cola bottles tea, which I thoroughly enjoyed and drank before). I did a similar tour in Dublin, and I didn’t find it as good as this one.

Oscar was a great host! My husband and I were lucky enough to get a private tour. It was tailored to that, so was even more fun. The donuts and tea were amazing, but Oscar really made the experience shop much more. Highly recommend!
