About the operator

- 193maureenj0 contributionsBEAUTIFUL SEVEN SISTERS & COUNTRYSIDEA fabulous day out from busy London. I caught a tube to Tower Hill and then a short walk to the train station to meet a wonderful man called Smai who accompanied us on the train to Brighton. There we met Kevin, our coach driver and tour guide for the day. Kevin took us on a fabulous tour around the Seven Sisters and surrounding beautiful countryside. I was amazed at the chalky cliffs and the ocean views. We had several stops to walk along the cliff edge and also down onto the pebbly beach at Birling Gap. There is a gift shop, cafe and ice cream van there. We stopped for lunch at Middle Farm (own expense). It was a fantastic day walking around areas where two movies were filmed, Atonement and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and seeing close up the chalky cliffs. Included return train from Brighton to Kings Cross (or a few other stops along the way). Highly recommend for the scenery and Kevin's knowledge of the area.Written 15 September 2024
- PsychSP0 contributions5-star day trip!!Wow, I definitely see why this tour gets a 5-star rating! Everything is very well organized and well timed - the day doesn't feel too long at all, and there are just enough interesting stops that nothing feels rushed and you have the perfect amount of time at each place. Loved seeing the Longman carving, both views of the Seven Sisters (from the beach, and from high up to see them all)--which in my opinion are prettier than the cliffs of Dover, and the lunch stop was really fun - definitely try the ciders, lunch is yummy and reasonably priced, and Sussex is known for their sparkling wine. BUT...the best part of all is ADAM, who is a phenomenal tour guide! He is so knowledgeable and friendly and fun - he really makes the tour special. This is a great day out overall, and very good value for the money. (Fyi, you would not be able to get all of these places easily by public transportation - you'd also miss out on all the fantastic commentary - so I recommend booking this tour.Written 9 September 2024
- jkroege10 contributionsBreathtaking with Quintessential English CharmAdam was a perfect local expert with a combination of folklore, history, story telling and amazing insight into the scenery and culture. The knowledge he held about the chalk mining, flint uses and pre industrial revolution and Saxon history was pretty interesting. I also learned a smattering of ideas about the local bird life and conservation efforts along the national landscape. I came away with insights and I won't forget this amazing tour to go with my breathtaking pictures. I came to Brighton for a conference and this was the perfect way to polish off the trip. I even got extra support navigating the late/early morning bus trip back to Heathrow, and recommendations for lovely places for dinner! And he drove Ilus by the Banksy! Brilliant guide! Remarkable experience. No regrets. Worth every pound and more.Written 8 September 2024

- DarlG40 contributionsExceeded expectations!Amazing full-day tour! The tour bus was very clean and promptly departed. I was a bit concerned that we would spend more time on the bus than off, but that was not the case. We spent plenty of time exploring and visiting some of the most beautiful and scenic sites. Our tour guide, Kevin, was very informative, knowledgeable and accommodating, and had a great sense of humor. He knew all of the best photo spots. If you're thinking about touring the South Downs area, we highly recommend Brighton & Beyond Tours. Thanks, Kevin, for helping to make this one of our most memorable experiences!Written 29 August 2024
- sanchanamenon0 contributionsBeautiful!!The trip was amazing and I had a fantastic experience. Thanks to Adam, the best guide! He was knowledgeable, considerate, funny, and punctual. This was my first trip outside London and was apprehensive. But, everything went well and the trip turned out to be a memorable one. The views were beautiful and totally worth the visit. I highly recommend this to all!!Written 28 August 2024
- sarah_mt_kelly0 contributionsSpectacular Views, Superb Guides!I had the most MAGNIFICENT time on this tour! From easily meeting up with my train escort, Tom, to our sensational driver and guide, Kevin, to the spectacular beauty of the experience itself, this tour was 11/10 every single step of the way! I had my first ever Sunday roast in Alfriston and I cannot adequately express the majesty and beauty of both Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters. Thank you so much for the adventure of a lifetime!Written 27 August 2024

- Happiness6274390 contributionsGreat Day in SussexFYI the train to Brighton does not come with an assigned seat. We had to stand over an hour on the jam packed train getting to Brighton on a hot Beach day. Ok that’s the bad, the trip is great and gets better as the day goes on finally arriving at 7 Sisters with beautiful hikes and walks. Definitely recommend.Written 12 August 2024
- charlineb6470 contributionsAmazing, highly recommend if you like nature and historyWe had a great tour today, Adam was amazing, really knowledgeable, enthusiastic with a positive energy. If you would like to discover Seven Sisters and the countryside around Brighton and Hove, we couldn’t recommend Adam enough. My boyfriend and I felt really bad we didn’t have any cash to tip Adam at the end so if there is some other way to tip please let us know. Merci, Charline & AniWritten 11 August 2024
- B7561WQcarminem0 contributionsAmazing experience at the Seven Sisters and South Downs National ParkI was at the tour of The Svene Sisters and South Downs National Park with Brighton & Beyond on Thursday 8 August 2024. The whole trip was really well organized thanks especially to the team which was composed by Ish (who picked the group up at London Bridge Station and left it at Brighton Central Station) and Adam (who collected the group in Brighton and was our guide for the entire tour). They were great. The places I saw were stunning, wonderful and in my opinion perfect choose to visit that area. Adam walked the group through the history both of the small villages (Brighton, Seaford, Wilmington, Eastbourne) we've seen along the road and of Seven Sisters and the National Park (unfortunately we couldn't stop at the Devil's Dyke because it was rainy and foggy). Also he added a lot of nice stories that made notice that he's a person who likes to study to engage more and more the people who choose Brighton & Beyind's tours. He also gave me a lot of tips on the city of Brighton. Amazing experience!Written 9 August 2024

It was a wonderful day! Everything was organized well. We were met at the train station by a guide. He rode with us on the train to Brighton and handed us off to the guide/driver at the coach. Paul was very informative and personable. The countryside was beautiful! The Sussex villages we visited were unique and like a trip to the past. The people were all very kind and friendly. The most awesome part of the tour was the Seven Sisters Cliffs. They were breathtakingly beautiful, especially when the sun shone on them! So glad we booked this tour!

We had a wonderful day with Adam! It was just the four of us with our guide, and we really enjoyed the good mood and all the information Adam gave us. What's more, Adam was very careful and funny. If you want to learn more about the Sussex area and discover the Seven Sisters at their best, I recommend this tour!

Our Train trip from London to Brighton was seamless. This tour was one of the best tours that we had in England. Lawrence was so pleasant and informative and made this day enjoyable beyond our expectations. We loved visiting the villages, hearing the stories, and seeing the primary sites of importance. The seven sisters were so great to view with the vistas of the sea! We took lots of pictures and highly recommended this tour. Your trip to London won’t be complete without visiting Brighton and Beyond!

We decided to visit Brighton while holidaying in London this time. Going on this day tour was a great experience for us visiting Sussex for the first time. Along with the best view possible of the white cliffs, it includes walking through a few old idyllic villages such as Alfriston and Rottingdene. Lawrence explains everything wonderfully and patiently. Don’t miss it!

What an amazing trip! Laurence was our tour guide and he was full of information. He made sure we were all there and that we had plenty of time to see everything along the way. We were given wrong information on where to meet the group but Ish went looking for us and found us so we didn't miss the tour. I highly recommend this tour and this tour company.
