    Great 2 hour walking tour!
Really excellent couple of hours led by Richard, a very knowledgeable PhD student. The stories, as well as the history, make the wonderful buildings come alive. Highly reccomended. Cannot exhaustive as there is so much to see, but great experience and useful pointers along the way to focus our future exploring.

    Once located very infrequently
Let’s start with the negative Meet location is vague as in you wait there but are not told to register in the building itself and it’s not very well advertised Once the tour started our guide Noah was very approachable and had a good sense of humour His knowledge was pretty good and threw in many facts A very interesting tour

    Fun theatrical ghost tour
We throughly enjoyed the ghost tour. Our guide, Tilly, was very knowledgeable and had made a lot of effort with her costume. The tour took us down some fabulous streets in Oxford, and really allowed us to take in the beautiful architecture around us. The ghost stories were very interesting and entertaining. We would highly recommend this tour.

    Excellent informative tour with Ben
This isn’t the cheapest tour but it’s worth every penny. Ben, our guide, was excellent. Fantastic detail of the timelines around Oxford University and its founding. Also very informative and fascinating as we went around the different parts of the college for 3 hours. We asked loads of questions and Ben answered them and encouraged conversation rather than just talk at us. Lovely guy, excellent guide and I’d thoroughly recommend the tour

Brilliant potted history of Oxford in 2 hours
This free tour, with Freya as our guide, was a fantastic introduction to Oxford. We were a family of 4 plus a dog, and she had us rapt for the full 2 hours! Soooo much information, lovely anecdotes, and a really enjoyable experience overall. Freya is a font of knowledge, thank you so much.

Oxford alumni tour well worth it!
Richard was a vast reservoir of relevant and interesting information, led at an efficient yet reasonably unhurried pace, and sprinkled it all with a balanced amount of appropriate humour

I was very disappointed with this tour. There was little to no Harry Potter information/facts shared on this “Harry Potter” tour. Our guide, Jamie, mainly talked about the college itself, his time there and about the many graduations that were going in at the time of the tour. We also were not allowed in the divinity school (because of graduation) which was one of the reasons I booked this tour. The website specifically said it included entrance into the divinity school and the website should’ve specified that there would be no entrance into that building due to graduation. Otherwise, I probably would not have paid for the tour and would have just walked around the college without a guide. I also emailed the company twice regarded my dissatisfaction and have heard nothing back. I would not recommend this tour if you are really wanting a Harry Potter Oxford tour.

Our guide was amazingly enthusiastic, like being in a show. Would recommend this trip for young HP fans or die hard potter fans. Some good stories also around other literary people. Got to see 2-3 iconic Harry Potter film locations. (Tour includes access paid for two which you pay locally to see, it was a Saturday and busy so would have been hard to see them as y) Probably not the tour for me as a solo but appreciated the sights and wonderful effort and enthusiasm of our guide who was delightful. Would say tour was slightly rushed through the sites.

The tour was quite good, a historical walk through the main buildings from University of Oxford used in Harry Potter movies. Our witch guide was amazing and very well informed. She made the tour very entertaining and exciting, engaging everyone in a fun quiz about Harry Potter. I would definitely recommend this tour, is an opportunity to learn about University history in a fun and enjoyable way.

Our guide was a wonderful woman who grew up in Oxford and was dedicated to being a true Harry Potter tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the area and how it related to Harry Potter. Not to mention she was very funny! We went in the morning, which meant little crowds and easier access to better views. I 100% would recommend this tour to anyone who is a fan of Oxford and any Potterhead!

Our tour guide, Nancy, was quite talented and knowledgeable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our Harry Potter tour. I specifically liked her ability to project her voice so that all 19 of us could hear her. She also told us where we were, and were not, allowed to take photos, which was helpful.

A very entertaining and enjoyable tour by Nancy our witch! Ever tolerant of muggles she guided us on a magical tour of Oxford. We visited lots of sites from the HP movies including New College. The 90 minutes seemed to dissaparate in front of our eyes as Nancy kept us entertained with a House points quiz and shared lots of stories and facts about the University and movies. We had 4 children with us between 11-15 and they were entertained for the whole time. Would recommend, especially for Harry Potter fans.

The tour was a beautiful way to capture the history and magic of a very special city. Our tour guide grew up in Oxford, and she made the tour fun and engaging for all ages. We highly recommend it, especially this time of year with all the Christmas markets and decor.

Nice walking tour! Nancy is a very enthousiastic guide. She tells interesting stories and now and then she asks questions about Harry Potter, the movies as well as the books. It’ a quiz and she divides the participants over the four houses of Hogwarts. Four participants get a scarf of one of the houses. The kids in our group are a bit shy but she stimulates them to listen to her stories and participate in the quiz. In the end the winning house gets a little price. The tour is interesting and I recommend to do it!

Our Tour Guide was Nancy, and she was amazing. She had a great rapport with the children in the group as well as us adults. Her knowledge of the history of Oxford was extensive and was included along with the Harry Potter, Tolkien and Lewis Carrol stories. Nancy had some Harry Potter scarves which she let the children wear on the tour and we had a house competition with questions being asked every now again. I am a huge HP fan and even I learnt some new information. The tour took us inside part of Christ Church Great all, the dining room on which The Great Hall had been inspired.
We also went into part of The Divinity School, which is another spot where Oxford University and Harry Potter meet. It was used as a filming location in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and in subsequent films as the Hogwarts Infirmary.
New College – Cloisters, The New College Cloisters crop up in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire quite a few times. They were used for many of the corridor scenes within the film, including the one where Harry has to push through all the Gryffindor students wearing Potter stinks badges to go and speak to Cedric.
The New College Courtyard was also used as an location in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Mad Eye Moody has popped up on the scene and transfigures Malfoy into a ferret and stuffs him down his buddy’s trousers before he’s told off by Professor McGonagall.
I highly recommend this tour, especially if Nancy is leading it. 10/10
