Fantastic, highly recommended, tour and guide!
Amazing trip. Ian picked us up from Southampton port and took us on a wonderful trip to Stonehenge and then to Bath. He was super knowledgeable and was a ton of fun! He suggested his favorite local lunch place in Bath and we ate our first truly British meal. Needless to say it was delicious! It was truly a wonderful day! Would highly recommend Ian for your trip!

      We Discovered the Cotswolds
We had a wonderful day in the Cotswolds with Jo. Such a pleasure to travel with her through the area and modify our itinerary as the conditions dictated. Jo provided great insight into the villages we visited and made sure we experienced the very best of the region. On our next visit to England we will certainly give some other areas a try with her.

A lovely day in the Cotswolds
I have always wanted to visit the Cotswolds and our tour guide JO ( JOANNA) didn't disappoint. It was a small group and we went to some out of the way places. Jo was very pleasant and entertaining. We learned a lot about what we were seeing. I felt we have sufficient time out of the van but yet covered a fair amount of territory. We saw a lot!!!!

      Wonderful Cotswolds day trip
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and organized. We enjoyed the trip and loved the small villages she showed us. It was nice to avoid the hassle of big tour buses and travel by minivan.

      A perfect day out
Absolutely wonderful tour along beautiful backroads and through gorgeous villages. Our guides were fun and knowledgeable and great story tellers. Being able to travel the backroads where huge bus tours cannot go was great. Time for photos, for food and tea stops, LOTS of pictures, it was just about as perfect a day as I could have hoped for!

      Unforgettable Tour
We hadn’t realized that when we booked this tour that it was going to be such a small group (which was a lovely surprise). Driving through the countryside in a smaller van allowed us to go to places buses cannot go. Our guide JO was amazing and very informative. She even stopped for us to take photos at places not normally on the tour. The villages we went to were so beautiful. Would definitely recommend this tour.

      Christmas @ Blenheim palace .
Had a lovely weekend away in Oxford , we booked tickets for Christmas @ Blenheim palace , they had sleeping beauty theme in the palace , each room told a story untill you got to sleeping beauty room , very well thought out & each room colourful . The light trail in the grounds were stunning & the water fountains were beautiful going to the music also music being played as you went along the trail . plenty of Christmas market stalls to look around have something to eat if you don’t go in the cafe Overall A very beautiful sleeping beauty theme in the palace , & well organised light trail , Only downside , as this is booked on time slots we were very disappointed that the Churchill room was closed by the time we came out of the palace , feel like this should be left open untill all entries had time to leave the palace to go into Churchill room if wish to do so . I would recommend getting there before your time slots , so youl have time to visit the churchill room . Also felt a bit rushed going around the sleeping beauty rooms as it’s a one way system . But overall , lovely day out . .

      Enchanting Cotswolds
What a wonderful day! Thank you to Ian for showing us all around The Cotswolds, even more beautiful than we imagined. All the thatched cottages, beautiful gardens and scenery. We loved all the bits of history and interesting stories that Ian shared with us as we went along. We mentioned that we really enjoyed Downton Abbey and Ian adjusted our day so we could fit in a visit to Bampton and see where much of the show was filmed. So amazing! I highly recommend this tour.

London to Southampton 2 day tour
I simply cannot say enough about our tour with Ian and Jo. We contacted Ian several months before our tour with a request to do his 2 day Stonehenge, Cotswolds, Oxford and Bath tour in reverse - pick up in London and drop off in Southampton for a cruise. Every step of the way he was in contact with me about the plans. Jo picked up my husband and me in London and first took us to Oxford where she handed us off to a private guide who is a student at Oxford University. We had an amazing time and then, despite torrential rains, we were able to enjoy a nice viewing of the Cotswolds. After a night at the Royal Oak in Tetbury Ian picked us up for tours of Bath and Stonehenge. We especially enjoyed him giving us a guided tour of Stonehenge. We were sorry to leave in Southampton but eager for our cruise the next day. I would not hesitate to contact Ian again for another tour when we are back in the area!

      A Visit To A Magical Place…The Cotswold
Thank you Ian first and foremost as we made preparations from the United States as first time visitors to England and my wife Linda’s longtime wish to visit the Cotswolds. You made it so easy to pick the right tour both scenery wise and affordable. The “Undiscovered Cotswolds” tour was made even more stupendous by Jo. Her passion, knowledge of every detail and warmth made for an unforgettable full day for my wife Linda and daughter Maria and myself. She exceeded all of our expectations on visiting this magical region called the Cotswolds.

      Private Cotswolds Tour from London
Our family, which included 3 adults (one senior) and 3 children, scheduled a private tour of the Cotswolds with Ian this past March. We had a fantastic experience and Ian helped me create a custom itinerary for my family that gave us a true feel of these beautiful villages. Because we wanted to see a couple extra sights, Ian was accommodating to our request to pick us up at the train station, then made arrangements with us to drop us back at our hotel in London. Unfortunately the morning we were to arrive, there was a fire on one of the train lines and all trains from Paddington were canceled. Ian was able to quickly regroup with us and make other arrangements so we could still meet and still maximize our day - we so appreciated not only his flexibility but his advice on what to see, where to spend more time and how to get in the sites important to us throughout the day. I didn't know about some of the sites he suggested and we were thankful for his recommendations. We had a beautiful day despite rain, and highly recommend this tour for its tailored experience. Thank you Ian!

We thoroughly enjoyed this full day of visiting multiple small and charming villages in the Cotswolds. Our driver navigated the narrow country lanes with ease having lived in the area for 30 plus years. His lovely wife, Isabel, narrated the local history along with other pieces of interest.
For us seeing this gorgeous part of England via a guided tour was the best way to go. No stress,
We highly recommend you choose this company.

How wonderful to have a fellow South African (Jo) take us for a tour around the Cotswolds! She was friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and a great driver as we navigated narrow roads in rainy weather. A great option for a solo traveller. Cannot recommend this tour (and company) enough. And the villages were just beautiful, especially with all the autumn colours. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Had a blast on this wonderful day trip to the Cotswolds. Ian was the most welcoming guide with great knowledge on the area. The small group size was also a plus. I attended this trip on my own, but during the day I never felt left out. Would definitely recommend this trip to everyone wanting to explore the countryside, even if it's just to hear Ian's fantastic stories.

Joanna is AMAZING. She went above and beyond as a tour guide, took us to places we never dreamt of seeing, and told the most wonderful and memorable stories. This tour was just six or seven people (no big buses) so we were able to drive through places a bus could not reach.

A most enjoyable trip of idyllic Cotswolds. The seven towns and villages were well selected to reflect both the popular and the less well known. Our small group of seven feasted not only on chocolate-box prettiness - no shortage of thatched cottages alongside trout rivers and streams - but were entertained to surprising stories told by Ian, our excellent driver and knowledgeable guide. You will have enough time to wander off on your own and wearing comfy shoes help!

This tour was outstanding from start to finish. Ian was exactly where he said he would be to start the tour, it started on time, and although we saw a lot, the day never felt rushed. We also arrived back at the time promised.
Ian’s choices of sights were excellent. Every stop entailed something picturesque and varied - a small village, a good-sized town centre, a water course, a church full of history, a ruin. We loved everything we saw.
The pleasure of our tour was made complete by Ian’s warm personality and knowledge of the area. Highly recommend!

Loved this tour, Jo was so patient and kind hauling us around in the van. I learned so much - I didn’t realize how big the Cotswolds actually is until I went on this tour. I also now have some of the prettiest pictures on my phone because of this experience. The onlyyyyyy thing I struggled with was the lack of AC in the back rows of the van - it got VERY hot, especially because it was a packed vehicle. I recommend taking a hand fan if one were to be there during their hot season.

My mom and I enjoyed this tour a lot. The van was comfortable and Ian was a skilled and safe driver. He took us to some stunning spots, some of which we wandered together as a group with interesting commentary from Ian, while in other places he pointed us in the direction of good sights and eats, and gave us time to explore on our own. He knows all the best photo angles for various attractions, and graciously took our picture for us a few times. Ian's good natured personality and knowledge of the area made the day a real treat.

The experience was personal and enjoyable! I really liked that the tour group was small so we could travel comfortably and have time to visit all the sites listed in the description. The tour guide, Jo, was highly knowledgeable, positive, and went above and beyond to make sure guests understood the unique history of the Cotswolds. Highly recommend this tour as an easy introduction to this very beautiful region.

This was the first tour of our 12-day trip and it was terrific! There was a full group that day - 7 in all - and it was essentially like being on a private tour in a comfortable van with the perfect agenda and pace. Ian was terrific: personable, professional, very helpful and accommodating. Our takeaway: Although we hadn’t seen ALL of the Cotswolds, thanks to Ian, we had a most delightful day and had seen the best!
