- Tuba Y0 contributions..I'm happy to be able to see Oxford with Luke today. I'm learning English and have travelled to other cities in England for the past few weeks so that i can improve my language. Today's tour was the most entertaining and informative tour so far, although it's normally quite difficult for me to understand someone speaking in British English, it was easy to understand most of the things he told :) Thank youWritten 30 November 2024

- jenniferh1460 contributionsThe perfect intro to Oxford! We SO enjoyed our time with Will today. His dry British humor and fun facts about the university had our 12-year-old riveted. Potterheads definitely get some fun photos and quizzes by houses was a cute addition to the tour. He took particular care and made the 90-minute tour fly by. (We heard a very dry tour as we were passing another group and were glad we chose a family friendly one.) He’s really a treasure and wishing him the best on his final exams!Written 28 November 2024

Orlaith was a wonderful guide, bringing the history of Oxford and its Colleges to life for our family with teenagers. Despite appalling rain, she soldiered on, giving us wondeful insights into the University and showing us the beautiful sights. I would strongly recommend this tour.

We had a tour yesterday with Cat. She lived in Oxford before she began college there and had so much background and history to share. The 3 hours went by in a flash. We were entertained, taught and enthralled all at once. Her sunny personality was warm, her knowledge of all things Oxford was incredible and her ability to tailor the tour in what we were interested in was impressive. (She inquired at the beginning of the tour to see what kinds of things we wanted to learn.) In addition to her knowledge of Oxford College, she shared student traditions and experiences, astute architectural differences in the buildings throughout the colleges, as well as insights as a student at Oxford in such an entertaining way. We cannot recommend her enough. Our only regret, is that we did not get a picture with her.
If I owned a business, I would hire her in a heart beat! She was fantastic!

Alex was our private guide for 3 hours walking around Oxford. We - Dad, Mom and a teenager - had amazing 3 hours in Oxford. Alex was incredibly knowledgeable, telling with enthusiasm about Oxford's history - not only university, but also the importance for England and the UK. We were brilliantly entertained and can highly recommend the trip.

Our guide Martin is majoring in history which was lucky for us. He made history come alive for us. Even our grand kids were impressed.
Martin should seriously consider a career in performing arts. He was that good

A wonderful walking tour through Oxford, where you could soak up the atmosphere and visit all the important sights. We were even able to go into one of the colleges, and entry to the Divinity School at the Bodlean Library was also included.
But our guide Richard made the tour a real highlight. As a postgraduate at Oxford, he was extremely well informed and knew a lot about every topic imaginable. He was also extremely funny and made the tour incredibly interesting. Definitely highly recommended!

Excellent, knowledgeable tour guide who told great stories. The tour had an excellent pace. We enjoyed hearing the history of the various colleges within the University and seeing the door with Aslan, where CS Lewis was inspired to write the Chronicles of Narnia.
