About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ladydeedy0 contributionsAn excellent overview of BathThis was an excellent enjoyable and informative tour led by Julia who was the perfect guide for our small group. It was a great way to see the main attractions of the city, learn about its history and pick up some tips for exploring on one's own later. Julia was interesting and entertaining and kept us all engaged. We loved it.Written 4 November 2024
- Pion1350 contributionsEven a long -time visitor learned lots about BathOur guide Julia was great, very knowledgeable, personable and happy to answer questions. In fact we over-ran a little. I visit Bath at least once a year but have never done a tour before. I learned a lot and saw parts I hadn't visited before. Now I have more things to do on my next visit.Written 4 November 2024

- emilypU83RU0 contributionsExcellent tour. Informative, educational and fun 😁Only had 1 full day in Bath. The walking tour with Owen was excellent. Very informative, educational as well as fun 😁 We were both delighted with our choice of tour.Written 18 October 2024
- Craig M0 contributionsFascinating and good humoured tourJames starts the tour by talking about Bath’s Celtic and Roman origins, but most of the tour is all about the Georgian period relative to most of Baths architecture. James throws in lots of fun anecdotes about the people who influenced and made Bath what it is. He also adds lots of references to period Hollywood and TV sets around Bath and lots of other interesting facts. Very interesting - We really enjoyed it.Written 16 October 2024
- MikenKaren0 contributionsGreat tour, great guide (Owen)We had a great tour with Owen. He was informative as well as entertaining. He moved along at a fairly quick pace which allowed us to see a lot yet also learn a lot. I would highly recommend the tour and Owen.Written 3 October 2024
- Glenn W0 contributionsA wonderful walking tourWhat a wonderful way to explore this beautiful city. Our guide Tony was informative and engaging. We moved between the the older parts of the city starting at the Abbey and moving up to the younger Georgian area walking up to The Circus and The Royal Crescent. He answered many questions and clearly loves this beautiful City. Thank you Tony.Written 29 September 2024
- mikezB8961AE0 contributionsAn American reviewAndy, our tour guide, was excellent. He was very informative about giving us the history of Bath from ancient times to present. If you have only one day in Bath I suggest this tour to get a good overview of the important sites. Although it is not customary I was so happy to give him a tip for doing such a good job.Written 26 September 2024

Phil was a phenomenal tour guide! His commentary was great and he made the 2 hour tour fly by. Getting the Roman Bath tickets with the walking tour made it just that much easier and convenient. HIGHLY recommend!

Good walking tour made great by Rob, our guide.
Very informative, chatty and approachable, and all of it with a wealth of humour & fun. The tour was so good it took a little longer than an expected to complete, but the ‘extension’ only added to the enjoyment. Can recommend this tour, but do it in good walking shoes as Bath isn’t flat & the tour covers quite a lot of territory.
We were given timed Roman Bath tickets, but don’t worry if you’re a little early (or late) as the door & reception staff are very amenable. We were 45 minutes early, but not issue.

Really enjoyable walking tour covering 2000 years of history! Despite it being in a group of 12 or so, it felt personalised as we were able and o ask questions. The Roman Baths which was a self-guided tour also exceeded expectations. Would recommend for adults and children 10 and above.

It was easy to book and easy to find on the day. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and quite humorous. It's a great way to highlight Bath in one day and easy to enter the Roman Baths.

We had a lovely afternoon with Andrew as our guide. The tour was the perfect mix of fun and informative and active but relaxed. Our day in Bath was truly enhanced with a tour to help us know what we were walking by and seeing--so many things we would not have known or noticed. Our guide Andrew was lovely and extremely knowledgeable. Ending the tour with the Roman bath entry was perfect. Recommend this tour to get the most out of a visit to Bath!

We really enjoyed this guided tour which covered all of the sights and points of interest we wanted to see during our day in Bath. Jane, our guide, was super friendly, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. This is a great way to get to know the layout of Bath and decide which points of interest you want to re-visit. We give this tour top marks. Thanks Jane!

Thanks Valarie for taking the time to leave such a delightful review. It's always a privilege to introduce visitors to our fantastic city. Glad you could take advantage of the "skip the line" Roman Baths tickets too. Jane says "hello"

Great overview of the city. Fred was a great guide. We covered a lot of territory in a relatively short time, then we were able to tour the Roman Baths at our own pace.

Hello,
Does this tour include the entrance to the Roman baths with a guide?
I’m planning to book for sat 28th for 3 people.
Thanks!
Vanessa

Hi Vanessa. The tour includes skip the line entrance to the fantastic Roman Baths, The Fashion Museum and The Victoria Art Gallery. We are not allowed to guide in the Museums, the visit is unaccompanied but with excellent audio guides. Tickets are normally used after the walking tour, but we can arrange to provide them any time on the day if that works better you.
